  1. "I'm sure it will work. One of the Narrators has to have an answer that Subversion will accept!" The traveler smiles, fresh resolve filling her. "So Tam, why do you care?" "I try." Unintelligible smiled at Sequence. "So, anything I can do to ease your recovery?" Subversion was very glad that she hadn't tried manipulating the Emperor.
  2. The glowing sword fades away into nothing as Subversion decides that the emperor probably does know what he's doing and doesn't need her help. @Ookla the Cookie Collector The somewhere turns out to be right above the traveler's head. She looks up at the drone. "This might be an odd question, but are you associated with a Narrator?"
  3. The traveler shrugs. "I have no idea how to interpret his advice, but... what he said to Lady Bug was interesting. Maybe I should ask all the other Narrators why they care about people." As Eof walks away, a thought comes into his mind. This is unusual, for the among the first lessons he ever learned upon gaining his foresight was that allowing Narrators to read your mind will never end well. Regardless, this thought peeked through for some reason. That poor fragment of a Narrator. Working so hard on a quest that will end fruitlessly. Unintelligible leaned forward, looking Sequence in the eyes. "I know. Everyone is scary. And powerful and crafty and dangerous. But together, we can defeat them. Whatever they're plotting, we can face it together."
  4. "Well, if you have no further questions, I will arrive only two minutes late to my daughter's soccer game." Eof turned to go. "Farewell Narrators, traveler. I hope that this new generation will fare better than the old against what is coming."
  5. "Narrators who do not know or do not want to use their powers to the fullest will be less powerful than those who know and accept the truth of their power. That is what I mean by 'lesser'."
  6. "Power." Said Eof. "Narrators are burdened with unimaginable power. Most have an awareness of the Thread that very few can begin to understand-even among characters that can pierce the forth wall. All Narrators must deal with the consequences of this. Some pretend to be lesser-knowingly or unknowingly-and thus become lesser. Some ignore the consequences instead, until they cannot." He paused, eyes staring into Lady Bug's soul. "I generalize, of course. Not all Narrators have much trouble with this. Some can accept the power and come to terms with the consequences. That is the path I would recommend you follow. You can care even in a world of imagination."
  7. Eof nods to Lady Bug in greeting. "I am glad to meet you as well." He turns, gazing at the ruined house. "Time is short, I'm afraid. Events have been put into motion that I cannot ignore. Still, I have some time. Traveler, I cannot give the solution you desire. Subversion cannot assume my perspective on life and so my answer to her question will not satisfy her. My advice to you is this: if you wish to know why to care, you must start by caring." The traveler opens her mouth, then closes it, lost for words. Eof continues. "Narrators, is there anything you wish to ask me before I depart?" "If you don't want them dead, nor do you want them free to plot evil..." Unintelligible frowned. "Have you considered imprisoning Everyone? Once you're healed, we could go track them down and lock them away somewhere."
  8. Unintelligible nodded slowly. “I’m sorry you had to do that. But I doubt Everyone will die. They’re too spiteful for that.”
  9. Tam and the traveler come out of the portal in a home that appears to have dissolved. Broken glass is strewn everywhere. Standing in what might have once been the front doorway is a man with glowing eyes. He turns at their approach. "I see Bacon has remained behind for the moment. Tam, traveler, it is good to meet both of you."

I've got part of it. Not sure if the rest of it is just gibberish or encoded differently Gibberish removed version:
  11. "Thanks!" The traveler hurries through the portal.
  12. "No problem." The spirit doctor handed Gaioh a card. "My business card. There are side effects to repeated restitching, but I can do it a few more times before they get too bad. If you really want to keep living though, you'll have to find a more permanent solution."
  13. The spirit doctor walked back. "Well, the operation was a success. Your soul is now connected much more firmly to your body. Not a permanent fix, but you should be alright for at least a few weeks."
  14. Unintelligible shrugged. "I guess so." He pulled out a revolver and spun it around his hand idly. "You said you dealt with Everyone. What did you mean by that?" "Great!" The traveler jumps up off the rock. "Can you take us there?"
  15. Unintelligible hesitated, then nodded. "Thank you for caring about my well-being." He raised a finger. "However, if Everyone makes any more trouble anytime soon, please tell me. You're injured, and I'm far from helpless now that it's Ookla season." The traveler sighs, kicking a nearby rock in irritation. "Great. So neither of you knows how to get to him? Well how am I..." She trailed off, staring at the rock she'd kicked over. On the bottom of it was inscribed a message. I'm at the ruins that were once the home of X's avatar. The traveler cocks her head. "Bacon, do you know where that is?"
  16. "I'm fine." Unintelligible says quickly, sitting down in the chair. "I don't think anyone's gotten sick, and Shoe was fine last I saw him." He frowned. "If I'd known Everyone was planning to attack... you should have told me! I could have helped you fight her."
  17. Ah, he removed some of his memories temporarily. They're back now, and he once again knows everything. "Well, in that case, I guess we'll wait." the traveler sits down on a rock to rest and wait for Bacon, though she itches to continue her quest.
  18. “I guess so. Is he still talking with Onyx? I don’t see him around right now.” When did that happen?
  19. “Okay. So first shelter we’re doing, we make camp for the night. Is for safe here?” “Maybe? I don’t remember Bacon interacting with Eof ever, but my memory of things unrelated to Nogard is spotty.”
  20. “Indeed.” The traveler looks around. “Now, I am having trouble remembering where he lives. Perhaps you could help with that?”
  21. No, I don’t think you did. “This is taking a little longer than I thought it would.” Moni said as they continued trudging through the woods. “Perseus, does this place have day and night?” @Ookla the Irreplaceable ”He’s been more reclusive since his marriage.”
  22. “He’s a guy that knows everything that’s going to happen.”
  23. “Yeah, right.” The traveler perks up suddenly. “I got it! I’ll go talk to Eof! He knows everything, so he’s bound to have an answer.” Fun fact: I wrote this post using only my nose.
  24. “The Dreamsmith. He… seems like a wise person who might have experience with the problem I’m facing. But I don’t feel ready to do a trial yet. I’d like to get some more experience first.” ”That’s terrible!” Unintelligible moved closer to Sequence. “Are you alright? Those wounds look bad.”
