    "Oh, I killed the other candidate for full Narratorhood." Subversion summoned a notebook and pencil. "Say, are you a Narrator?" It could be done by now, if someone were to go check on him.

    "I was born with Narrator powers, although I wasn't a full Narrator until I proved my worthiness for the role." Yeah, he's getting surgery. Having his soul stitched to his body a bit better.

    The traveler snores softly on the ground.

    "Finding the answer!" "Relationship advice? Don't be ridiculous." The traveler looks at the sand with a quizzical expression. Then understanding dawns, and she smacks her forehead. "Oh, right. I need to go to sleep." She lies down on the soft sand and closes her eyes. "No, I'm just going to talk to him... about... Nogard's... past." She yawns, drifting peacefully into sleep.

    The traveler looked down. "I need to talk to Onyx, of course."

    “Of course.” The traveler frowns. “Do you know the way to Onyx’s castle?”

    "Probably an effect of the soul splitting." Subversion ran a hand through her dark hair, considering. "I seem to be feeling less considerate than I have been lately. Sorry."

    "So a lot? I'll keep that in mind..." Subversion frowned. "Maybe I am acting a bit different." "Oh, right. Sorry Tam."

    Subversion sighed in disappointment. "Maybe I'll talk to the other Enullers when they arrive to capture you, see if they can't answer my questions." "No, I'm acting totally normal. Say, how much would you dislike it if your brother became possessed by the soul of that Enuller who held you captive?"

    "Like what?" Subversion summoned a miniature pocket dimension with an extra-powerful vacuum inside, trying to get the Enulling energy into it. "I'm acting like I normally do."

    "Maybe," Subversion said with a look that said she hadn't heard what Tam had just said, "I could use it somehow! Perhaps I could make an... Enulling grenade?"

    "Oh." Subversion deflated. "Then why'd you act like there was? Did you want me to think of things I could do with it?"

    "There is!" Subversion's eyes lit up. "You have to tell me what it is."

    "Why do you ask?" Subversion narrowed her eyes. "Is there something I should be doing instead?"

    Subversion turned to look at Tam. "I'm sticking my hand in it. Thought that was obvious."

    "I remember everything." the traveler continues staring around in all directions. "Everything after I was created, at least." Moni followed, keeping a wary eye on Faunus, who was doing that typical Narrator thing where they floated a few inches above the ground, following you everywhere with the dead stare of low Authorial motivation energy. "I don't know, I think it's kind of cool." Subversion stuck her hand in the ball of Enulling energy to see what would happen.

    The traveler looks at Lady Bug with a mixture of apprehension and confusion. "I'm sorry, do I know you? Your face looks somewhat familiar."

    The traveler slows to a walk, looking down at her map. Onyx's castle should be around here somewhere. She looked up expectantly. @Ookla the Bacon

    "I agree. Let's get moving." The traveler hears the buzzing retreat and turns back, surprised. Quite a stroke of luck she decides, then continues on her way. Subversion raised an eyebrow at Lady Bug. "Bored of the opera already? Say, do you know where that guy who was interviewing Narrators is? I was going to go talk to him."

    The traveler hears something that sounds almost like a distant shout, but it is drowned out by the buzzing of the bugs.

    "Ready?" The spirit doctor pulled out a large club. "Don't worry, I can do anesthesia if you want." "Good." Moni peered around the train. "So, should we keep going?" @Ookla the Dylsxic @Ookla the Inquisitive "Indeed. Although I'm sure the Brave Adventurers will deal with it well enough." The traveler continues fleeing, hoping desperately that Onyx's castle would come into view soon.

    The traveler runs in what she hopes is the direction of Onyx’s castle, breath coming in gasps. … shrugged. “I’m sure the adventurers will be relatively gentle when they’re capturing him.” “Hm. Still, there’s nothing stopping him from sending minions in here, so we’ll have to be careful.” The spirit doctor pulled out a wicked-looking glowing knife. “I’ll just do a quick, mostly painless operation.” ”Well, have… fun.”
