@Mickey Lehtman, I think the Avatar thing is something all Shards can do. There's a long WoB on Patji and limitations of Shards in encompassing their Intent in all the Shardworlds, instead focusing on their own. (spoilered for length:) There's also a WoB on Investiture gaining sentience if left alone, unaltered for some other function, on its own. I think the Avatars of Autonomy are just pieces of the Intent Autonomy that was part of Adonalsium throughout the Cosmere, not directly taken up by the Shardholder due to their natural limits.

There's already a WoB on that In a scenario where Preservation, Ruin and Cultivation settle on a planet, Preservation is likely to be the antagonist as the other two are about change while Preservation would become something closer to Stasis

Progression can be harnessed as Re-Growth so I don't see why not. I don't think it can be used on more intelligent animals though or ones with simply more self-awareness, if the Surge works through the Cognitive Realm. I don't think it should be able to kill anything by 'over-Progression', i.e., aging them (aside from maybe, fruitflies). But those are just my opinions, we haven't seen Progression enough to definitively know the answer. As for how it would affect sex-changing animals... I think it would switch to the default gender (female, in most cases... or at least the ones I know of) but shouldn't hamper their ability to turn their sex in response to environmental stimuli, same as what occurs in nature

That would come under cadmium Hemalurgy, which can steal gold, electrum, atium, malatium Allomancy (as cadmium and cerrobend were switched by Preservation to weaken Ruin while still maintaining the 16 Metals system) They used atium spikes to steal those as they did not know about cadmium and believed that atium stole Allomantic temporal powers.
