  1. It comes directly from the spiritual realm. Probably wouldn't heal very fast, but it makes it usable. And pewter is great and all, but it can't deliquify your head, or put your soul back in your body after a shardblade passes through your spine.
  2. That's fine it wasn't that funny to begin with so I'm not surprised you don't know.
  3. Okay some interesting questions I was not expecting. On bloodlusting thay was more to force our two individuals to fight rather than just sit there confused, not to nullify emotions. Let's say the arena is the size of a football field. Let's say it's perfectly round, and is also magic enough to move so that the combatants stay relatively centralized to avoid them getting pinned against a wall. To keep it fair we'll say both sides have standard equipment we have seen within the books, and cannot resupply. A few WoBs for reference I'd personally back the unoathed here for one reason: margin for error. An unoathed can basically fumble through the fight, taking large hits, swinging wildly and they are still a threat to be reconed with. A mistborn on the other hand MUST play everything perfectly. Moash accidentally shattered Kaladin's ribs in WoR, that's a game ending blow right there.
  4. You know that one stormtroopers in 'The force Awakens' who screams traitor at Fin.
  5. Well I've been saying for years that I thought that someone with living plate and blade could take a mistborn. Now we actually have a group of people who have these living Shards without surges. So let's say some Chthulu alien monster from the beyond grabs an era 1 mistborn, gives them a set of sixteen metals and some coins, and a trained unoathed and dumps them in an arena across from each other. That same alien fills them with an overpowering lust for blood. Fight.
  6. Brandon goes through a lot of effort to show not only that Odium could do just that, but that he would. It talks a lot about him torturing humans whose relatives are in the coalition nations and letting them know that. Abusing, breaking and other horrible type things to them until their relatives unable to bare it fought back trying to free them. That would put them in violation of the contract, and give Odium power over the coalition nations. Well Dalinar couldn't fight Odium without killing everyone in Urithiru, so that option is off the table. As for Cultivation's ability to handle Odium So that wouldn't work. Possible, but if Odium knew he couldn't win a fight he wouldn't show up to it. Now that makes more sense, but I still disagree. I don't believe Tanavast's plan would work. I think he was in an almost non-functional state of mind when he made it, and Odium was playing the plan to his benefit.
  7. I'd post the Traitor! meme, but I hate the sequel trilogy, so I won't do that.

Thx! It’s fun to nuke spambots from orbit, def a highlight. I occasionally feel bad telling off friends tho, and for new folks I apparently have a scary intimidating air about me xD Never thought scary would be a word used to describe me lol

  9. ... You guys let the lead grow? It's fine. One of these days we will be victorious. Down with TLT. The last post will win
  10. I am so glad that this thread is still a thing. Did we finally beat TLT? Also just for old times sake *wins*
  11. True Okay you had me up until this point. Vin didn't kill herself to make sure Ruin was no one else's problem. Vin wasn't even aware that there was anyone else for Ruin to be their problem. Vin self-sacrificed to kill Ati because that was the only way to save her people. For Dalinar the conditions were different. His people were already safe, the only way to endanger them was if he were to fight Odium in the same way Vin fought Ruin. Instead he had to think more long term. Odium had already told Dalinar he intended to go to other worlds, and Dalinar verified that the other worlds were unconcerned and unprepared for the threat Odium posed to them. If Dalinar hadn't done what he did Odium would have forced the humans to break the contract at some point, killed Cultivation and moved on to cause problems for other worlds on his own terms with his own armies, and would have continued just like he had with the previous four Shards. Instead Dalinar forced the others to recognize Odium as a threat, while simultaneously putting Odium on the defensive. Dalinar didn't make things worse for the rest of the Cosmere, he finally woke them up to the threat that was there the whole time they just chose to ignore. It was a brilliant move that proved to be of greater advantage to the Shards of other worlds that were against Odium than to Odium himself. Taravangian realized that, Hoid realized that, even the vision Dalinar had seems to indicate that the God Beyond wanted that outcome. I'm afraid I don't understand what you're trying to say. Fen causes a new Coalition war? With who and for what purpose? I'm probably just misinterpreting that, so if it's obvious what you were trying to say you have permission to slap me(though not too hard, I do try to appear beautiful) No one in Alethkar really has the ability to resist Jasnah militarily. House Sadeas the only ones who really tried are all dead now, with the implication(real or imagined in the minds of other highprinces really doesn't matter the affect is the same) that anyone who tries following their example will meet the same fate. Honestly looking at that makes me think a little more about @Aliroz-The-Confused's point. The Kholins really did just kill anyone who got in their way. Huh. I Was not expecting to rethink the entire series when I opened this thread. House Kholin controls all the Shards, Dalinar is king of the Radiants, and Jasnah herself is stronger than any military might that a Resistance force would be able to muster. So any resistance would have to be political rather than militaristic. So all that Fen would be able to do is sell things to people with different political views than Jasnah. Which I don't think even justifies seriously contemplating an assassination, much less actually planning it. Well if it's anything like Aesudan(who Jasnah was going to assassinate for nothing more than being a political, with the orders signed in hand and everything)then Jasnah probably has assassins already watching Fen, or at the very least contracts for that drawn up. The only thing Fen has done in the books to warrant that is "making her pay more for jewelry" type things. Also I think maybe we make a new thread for this so we don't take over the current one, how does that sound?
  12. Hey I just noticed this, if anyone has Chinkoln's email do tell him I'd like to hear from him, and if he responds you can send him mine

  13. Have you ever gone back to your old elementary school, and remember all the fun you used to have there, all the people you used to know, but at the same time no ones there, and it's so different?

That's kind of been my feelings for the last hour or so as I look through the old profiles of my friends and realize I won't see them again.

It's kind of heartbreaking, yet at the same time, if it didn't hurt I suppose there wouldn't be any point to it in the first place. And if I didn't move on, it means I can never find something better.

I do still wish my friends would come back.

  14. So as I was reading Wind and Truth, specifically the last chapters something kept standing out to me, specifically regarding the Death Rattles, and that is that they started receiving double fulfillments. Why do I notice that? Because it's a staple of Old Testament prophesy. Take for example a very famous one, in Isaiah 7:14 This prophesy was doubly fulfilled in the births of Maher-shalal-hash-baz(try saying that five times fast) see Chapter 8 of Isaiah, and the birth of Jesus Christ, see Luke 1. There are of course other examples of this Isaiah 14 poetically referring both to the future downfall of Babylon, and the pre-mortal downfall of Lucifer, Ezekiel 37 referring both to the future unification of the tribes of Israel, and the unification of the Book of Mormon with the Bible(though I recognize that one isn't intuitive from the text as it stands). So why do I bring this up? Well, because I believe that it inspired Brandon while he was planning out the Death Rattles in the Stormlight Archive. Aside from the textual evidence I'll get to in a moment I'll add that the examples listed above from the old Testament were included in the old Testament Study guides for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'd provide a link to the relevant pages but the Church made a new updated one on the website that no longer includes these listings, and I really don't want to type out word for word from the printed version. Maybe later I'll send photos. I'd also like to add this WoB So I'll take a look at some of the dualistic death-rattles here and apply this kind of thought process to them. This death-rattle could refer both to Rayse, as the Stormfather tells Kaladin that Odium reigns during WoK, or to Taravangian at the end of WaT as the only shard in the system. This could refer both to Taln as the only Herald left in the Oathpact, or to Ishar taking some of the burden from the other eight Heralds during the same event where he plead for Honor to release him. This could be Dalinar seeing the Vision of Honor as the world breaks away beneath them. It could be Gavilar and Taravangian in the Wind and Truth Prologue, it could well be Dalinar and Taravangian at the top of Urithiru during the Climax of Wind and Truth. And I'll actually break all of these down. I stand before him above the world Itself: Dalinar stands before Honor overlooking all of Alethkar Taravangian stands before Gavilar overlooking a map of Roshar Dalinar and Tarvangian stand before each other(either PoV works) on top of Urithiru, the highest point in the world. He speaks the Truth: The truth that Honor is dead, that Odium reigns etc etc Gavilar speaking honestly with Taravangian after what he feels for a long time is deception Dalinar realizing that it is Gavilnor, and that he can't beat Taravangian, or Taravangian realizing that Dalinar is right about not being able to kill family/the Sun makers gambit. All of these have to do with the true desolation, everstorm and night of sorrows This could be both the human invasion of Roshar, or the Singer invasion of Azamir. Reminds me a lot of the Isaiah 14 example earlier. This could be both of Dalinar or Szeth. Dalinar watched Alethkar crumble to dust in the visions. Szeth in WaT saw his homeland in the sorriest, most broken state, far from its own ideals and formerly peaceful way of life. The waters surging beneath could be both the creation of Retributions eternal storm or the waves of the sea where Szeth used to live. The Child could be both Gavilnor for Dalinar, or Szeth himself at the Elsecaller monastery. I'll admit the Szeth one has to stretch at times here, but I think it still fits. I still want this to be black red and white, so that white can rhyme with alight, but alright. This one was pretty obvious and was the first to catch my attention. This could be the Heralds holding back the desolations, or the Unoathed fighting for Azimir. This can be both Gavilnor and Dalinar, or the silent gatherers collecting death rattles This one is my favorite, and the one that made me decide to do this. The He in this case can be either Dalinar or Kaladin. The Fallen Title can be any of: Herald, Honor, Knight Raadiant. The Tower could be any of: Urithiru, The Tower, The Pinnacle, the glyphpair of the Kholin princedom The Crown could be: The Shard Honor, The Kingship of Urithiru, Elhokar, Dalinar The other Glyph in the Kholin Princedom. The Spear could be: Kaladin, Syl, the Honorblade Kaladin got at the end of WaT. Was this prophecy fulfilled when Kaladin swore the second ideal, finally taking up the Spear to fight again at the end of WoK, fighting his way to the Royal highprince Dalinar at the Battle of the Tower? Was it fulfilled when Kaladin fully entered the order of Windrunners, took up a shardweapon(that would later become a spear) while defending the King Elhokar at the Pinnacle? Was it fulfilled when Dalinar with Kaladin at his side claimed the order of bondsmiths and kingship of the Tower Urithiru? Was it fulfilled when Dalinar as King, at the top of the tower took up Honor, and thought so highly upon his Spear Kaladin? Was it fulfilled when Kaladin took up the mantle of a Herald, Syl as a potential shardspear, while given an Honorspear, while wearing the Tower and Crown? I would like to submit my belief that it is all of them.
  15. I won't say that's impossible, I just doubt it. I'd be surprised if there were no other outsiders in Riverside, especially considering the laws passed against them. It would be really strange if it was just December. And again if it could prevent her memory from being erased, I'd imagine it would prevent her from de-aging as well. Both are pretty heavy alterations to the spiritweb. But then again Brandon has made me eat my words on the Cosmere a couple of times. I'd honestly be tempted to blame Hoid, December seems to remember him far too well during the undone time jump thing.
  16. Kind of. No idea why December would remember, and I highly doubt being an outsider has anything to do with it unless it's tied to the genetics of the region but that would prevent her from being reset just as much as it would prevent her from having her memory erased.
  17. So on the not Time Travel. We have three options 1. It was all a vision. I dislike this one as it feels too cheap. And also it seems a LOT more detailed than any other visions we've seen, and a lot more powerful. Fifty-nine years is a long time. 2. It was real and after she died December is "living" in a vision probably the easiest to occur in the cosmere, but the least fun. There is a third option. 3. It was real, but somehow investiture held on to everyone's souls, moved everything back to where it was, brought people back to life and erased everyone's memory except December. This is probably the most difficult to occur, but I think the most fun, and with the greatest storytelling potential.
  18. Alright, I've tried multiple time to think of a proper response to that. With the intention of avoiding an argument I've decided I'll say that such an idea is completely foreign to me, and I'm going to ask some questions to help me better understand. Why do you believe that Jasnah simply wanting to do something good enough with power means that it's okay for her to kill in order to consolidate it? What if these people had even better political objectives than Jasnah? Is it still okay to kill them then? Especially considering that it isn't these individuals being threats to Jasnah's goals that they are on the chopping block, rather the fact that they MIGHT cause issues for her. But none of these have anything to do with delegalizing slavery, other than indirectly helping her hold on to power, most don't even do that. They just allow her to get rid of someone who might cause a nuance, as Fen was not a threat to Jasnah's power over Alethkar, nor could she threaten them militarily. All Fen could really do is allow the merchant guilds to charge higher prices, and considering that the merchant guilds have a level of control over Fen, that wouldn't even be entirely her fault. And I think you would agree that you can't just kill someone for being forced to charge you more for goods and services. I don't feel pity for Fen. I feel disgusted with Jasnah. Another excellent point, Ala did betray her so I suppose it's possible that she was intentionally distant to not feel that anger.
  19. Please ignore this if you want to, this is just the perfectionist in me wanting to say it's not a retcon, it was planned this way since at least 2009, the characters were just wrong, and Brandon only let us in on it recently. Now this is theoretically possible, and does have some interesting applications. I don't think the reaction would be severe enough for someone to go put of their way to gain a new Resonance, but I suppose it might happen.
  20. I had not picked up on that. That's actually very perceptive, good eye.
  21. It's more of an anthology, one book right after another after another. Full list Note these books are not arranged in chronological order, they are organized by: Subject, Author, Length. Which makes reading the Bible straight through cover to cover to be very disorienting. I did it(almost, I'm not done yet, and I took the New Testament separately) do not recommend. I'd probably recommend doing something like this: You'll notice a lot of the books are missing, but this is just my recommended starting place. Others will probably have different opinions on which books to read first, and which ones are more important than the others, a lot of which comes down to personal theology and preference.
  22. So I actually have a very interesting point of view in this. I just returned from serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and during that time what I did was try and share my religious beliefs with others. Now I can't speak for all Missionaries from my own church let alone for all religions, but my personal view of this always was that of invitation. I having received what I believed to be the truth, and the path to peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come had a responsibility to make it available to others. If they didn't want it, that was their choice and I would respect it, but if I didn't offer it to them then I would share part of the guilt for any pain they could have avoided with my knowledge That's awesome. Just a heads up, the Bible isn't one book, it's closer to 66(Possibly more if the version you had included apocryphal works such as the books of the Macabees) and I don't think the order they were put in is particularly helpful for new readers. Are you looking for a study on any particular points of belief, or are you trying to understand everything?
  23. Drop him into the CR, or space. Either will work
  24. Well I'm quite late to this, but I wrote up some of my thoughts about Wind and truth as I was reading, and I thought reviewing them here would be fun. In this my original thoughts will be in black, any new commentary of mine will be in red. Predictions: Syl Dies Either Kaladin or Szeth is the Honor side Champion Either Moash or El is Odium's Champion Fifth windrunner ideal is the surgeons oath but slightly modified. On the Cover Dalinar Is surrounded by the ten polestones, that has to be important Ba-Ado-Mishram is in Ral-Elorim Well, that's a whole lot of nothing right there. I will say that in the thread where I hypothesized BAM being in Ral-Elorim I also included her being in the CR, so I give myself half points there, just to be safe. Prologue: What! Vasher is helping Gavilar! This does put a nail in the Navani discovered anti-light argument, but it opens up so many more questions. What else does Vasher know? Chapter 1 Page 26: lashings last minutes at best, but in Urithiru it lasts over ten hours Page 27: What is that voice talking to Kaladin on the winds? He looks at Syl implying it isn't the Stormfather as Kaladin would recognize his voice. Indeed it would seem to be a feminine voice. I suspect Cultivation is up to her old tricks, but it interests me that she could speak on the Winds. Perhaps Ishar? The blurb on the back implies he needs Kaladin. Surprisingly deep on that, yet completely wrong all at once. Page 30 some bond remains between Shallan and Testament, interesting. Chapter 2 Page 31 Radiants can use Towerlight, and it doesn't push them to action and is constantly replenished. Page 32 The Wind appears to be able to hear Kaladin's thoughts. This could be another visions thing, where the responses appear to be vague answers. I believe Cultivation may have some powers Similar to Preservation however. Page 32 voice commands for water and gestures for temperature. Urithiru may very well be the most advanced city in the cosmere, Elantris alone could compare. Page 36 The Wind can hear Kaladin whisper, there Is a strong Connection here, and it does appear to be related to Ishar of all things. Chapter 3 Page 38, Kaladin appears to be writing, or at the very least dictating the epigraphs, The Wind itself speaks to Kaladin, perhaps like the Stone speaks to Venli. That has ENORMOUS implications. I already thought that Radiants were obnoxiously OP I'd be interested to see if any remnant of Night remained, or if it's only the Nightwatcher at this point A Heliodor was used to imprison BAM, interesting, that's the Bondsmith stone. Page 42 BLAST BAM isn't in Ral Elroim, alright well at least I'll give myself the consolation that she's in another realm Chapter 4 Page 44 Interesting, the storm and Wind appear separate, what does it mean? Page 46 Capacity? Flutes? That implies some level of investiture in the one Kaladin has. Okay, small moment to talk about the wind, in Oathbringer It talks about Wind Stone and Spren, is it just that? If Windrunners can talk to the wind and Willshapers and probably Stonewards can talk to stone: can skybreakers talk to the wind? Can Edgedancers talk to plants? Can Dustbringers talk to fire? What is this? Well no, it appears that Wind has a voice of its own and can talk to anyone if it has the power too. Or well, it did. Page 47, hold on Wandersail was made to one of the rhythms of Roshar? And it predates Honor and Cultivation, while also guiding men across Shadesmar to reach Roshar? Page 49 Roshar is listening? Is she the odd woman at back of the book? Is there a spren to all of Roshar? Interesting notes for a future theory. Chapter 5 Page 53, okay that epigraph is not from Kaladin, unless he's changed a lot. Possibly multiple authors? Page 58 Lightweavers can use Fortune. Chapter 6 Page 60 What does it mean the winds and heralds have vanished, not died but vanished? Page 63 Humans can't use towerlight unless in Urithiru, and Windrunners can mess with pressure. Chapter 7 Page 74 Roshar has compasses that show the way in Shadesmar Or well, towards Urithiru at least, though that doesn't appear to be all that noteworthy anymore. Page 76 Brandon doesn't put random rocks in for nothing. Is this a Tien thing, or is the rock more important The fact that the rock is almost never brought up again has forced me to eat my words. Chapter 8 Radiants can breathe in lashings Chapter 9 Page 79 okay not Kaladin then, so who wrote the book? Wind and Truth in world Page 85 Lightweavers can stab people with illusions Chapter 11 Page 92 Substantiation was forbidden, interesting more limits on powers Here's my question now: Who forbade it, and how was it such a problem it got a name? It apparently isn't all that hard as Shallan got it first try, but still. Page 92 Interesting Shallan hears a voice in her mind from Adolin Another brief pause to talk about Rhyshadium. This pretty much confirms my theory that the Fifth ideal would give Radiants Rhysadium, and it was cool that Adolin and Sureblood got to reunite. It looks like Rhysadium bonded to Radiants can fly without lashings which is super useful. Honestly, how on earth a Fifth ideal radiant is supposed to die is beyond me. Well we saw two knights swear the fifth ideal, but neither of them had a Rhysadium appear next to them. I suppose it doesn't rule the possibility out, but that's a downer. Chapter 12 I feel like Brandon is almost overforeshadowing Kaladin's death, I almost don't buy it. And I was right. Chapter 13 Okay Lightweaver armor likes to break things, good to note Oathgate spren choosing to be corrupted, very interesting, and very scary at the same time. Kaladin is ascending, I have decided. He has to leave in some way, but it's overtuned to be death. And I was wrong, but also kind of right. Chapter 14 Page 134 Wit can push on fabrials. He is Lerasium mistborn, but still Page 138 Radiants lose Towerlight almost instantly Gemstones lose Towerlight faster than Stormlight The Siblings Bondsmith doesn't need to sleep Chapter 15 Page 148 “At least one Thunderclast If not both” so are there only two? That doesn't seem right, those who participated in the desolation seemed to expect more. Perhaps because Sigil has only seen two? Chapter 16 Page 151 Windrunners developing Morse code Page 154 Lightweavers cannot give mobile armor to others Chapter 19 Skybreakers cannot make themselves audible to others in flight, cannot manipulate pressure Chapter 20 Page 189 bondsmithings can last a few weeks Chapter 21 Interjection to talk about the Azamir assault, why does no one suggest just disabling the Azish Oathgate? Remove the gem housings and stormlight on the physical realm side or something along those lines? Radiants can lock the gates as has been shown, though that may not work on PR/CR travels. That would just leave Odium's army stuck in the Cognitive Realm weeks away from anything important. And I still do not have a satisfactory explanation for this. Chapter 23 Pages 226-227 Spren can be trained, and grow Chapter 25 239 Crossbows are ineffective against Shardplate Chapter 28 Page 256 Lightweaver plate can applify sound Page 258 at least one enlightened order can enter CR That would be Elsecallers, though I wonder if that has to do with the enlightenment process, as Jasnah has a lot more difficulty with it. Chapter 29 Page 263 higher oath levels heal faster, hold stormlight Longer, are more efficient etc Page 269 The Sibling can feel germs Okay this is actually kind of crazy the amount of sensitivity that the Sibling has is unreal. Page 295 all spren can hide inside their radiants That feels wrong to me somehow, but I guess it works. IInterludes Pages 320-321 interesting, El is very important here. What is an Elsegate? And what does Dai-Gonarthis have to do with one? And why does Odium have to pay her? Very interesting. I'm also super happy we finally get to see more of the Unmade and Thunderclasts I'm still wondering what on earth Odium has to do to pay Dai-Gonarthis, and why Rayse didn't want to do it. Additionally what does Dai-Gonarthis do when not being supported by Odium that way? If she did nothing else I see no reason that Rayse wouldn't have Unmade her again. I'm guessing that Virtuosity is the other Shard Odium can't see real well Chapter 41 What the crap is that epigraph? This one I'll probably talk more about it later. My question is: who is this, and how did they know about it, especially considering that it's been buried under tons of rock for years. Page 386 Szeth instantly burnt through stone. Epic chapter in all What the crap is going on with the Shamans? Chapter 43 Portals, not oathgate type travel. Chapter 45 Page 438 Division can invisible disintegrate stone Wow, excellent description of division making such tiny breaks in stone that it still appears solid, past Frustration. You have such a way with words. Chapter 53 Page 501 you can Elsegate others to Shadesmar Page 503 honorblades can appear in the CR Page 504 Elsegates are hard to master Chapter 60 Okay there's an old fourth moon, super cool. Also definitely a Dawnshard down there, interesting how both the Lyceren and the Chadmfiends seem drawn to them. Well, not quite, but a cool theory. Chapter 62 Pages 607-608 Numuls have Amathist gemhearts Chapter 63 Page 620 thunderclasts 30 feet tall I feel the one in Oathbringer had to have been much taller. Also what are thunderclasts even? Page 621 Focused ones can crush heads That scene is still insane to me. Adolin running through the middle of enemy fortifications is one of the best examples I can imagine of the military superiority of Rosharan magic Chapter 64 Page 633 well of souls on Braize? What? I'm still unsure if this is a perpendicularity or just that strange metal. It seems to share a name with the Well of Control and the Well of Ascension, so what is it? Chapter 65 Page 645 Taln tried to kill Cultivation?! This is still one of the oddest reveals of WaT to me. I have no idea what to do with it. Also the fact that Taln wasn't just the underdog pick, but some guy they added just for numerical thematics feels wrong to me. Chapter 66 Epigraph is another hint that Hoid seeks to raise the dead Interludes Interesting elsegate from Cusichessh, but what the crap? Odium destroyed his own city!!!!! Or not Chapter 80 Page 793 binoculars That autolocate living things, super rare, super powerful. Page 798 singer feet resistant to caltrops Singers just being better than humans at everything, because why not? Chapter 82 Page 818 thunderclasts have difficulty appearing in worked or covered stone Illustration at the end of chapter 83 could imply only three Thunderclasts And yet it names them, leaving it open for more. Brandon you frustrating man. Interludes Page 878 eat that steelrunners, Edgedancer high friction snaps your legs, eat it. My Lift fanboying was coming out a little strong right there. Chapter 90 Page 901 Division not effective at a distance unless the air is filled with wood dust or flammable substances Page 906 in a year of fighting the Coalition lost less than 60 radiants including squires Chapter 100 Page 980 a metal that attracts the souls of Shards?! What the crap IS Braize? Chapter 109 Page 1027 invisible windrunner plate Page 1027 Living plate is stronger Chapter 115 1062 Reason is our final Shard, and apparently they disappeared or at least their vessel did An interesting name, but what happened to them? Chapter 119 Ishar is the one at the bottom of Shinovar being weird, no wonder I couldn't put an unmade to it. Chapter 120 Page 1098 okay what is that fourth moon, there's something crazy there. Chapter 121 I think we've been misthinking perpendicularities, they appear to not just be ways to travel between realms, but also wellpoints of tremendous power. Perhaps the well of ascension is more typical than I had thought. It's interesting to note that the perpendicularity is called the Well of Control. Interesting that Control is what both Ishar and BAM did with that power. I'm interested to see how Brandon develops perpendicularities Chapter 129 Page 1188 you cannot summon a shardblade from the CR in a room lined with aluminum, still need to see of it can be done with a spren in the PR Chapter 131 No, don't tell me it's actually this. I worried when Gavilnor started getting so much attention. There's no way Brandon actually went with Child Champion. At least Gavilnor is an adult now, but come on, that's such a disappointment. This had better be good. I still don't like this, but alright. Chapter 133 Page 1223 hold the phone did Szeth just bypass the fourth ideal? Yes, yes he did. Chapter 136 Page 1240 Dustbringer armor warns when someone is behind you Page 1241 Spren can wear shardplate? That might actually be one of the most broken things I've ever seen. Chapter 140 The WIND accepted Kaladin's Oath!!!!! What! That's so AWESOME! What else can it do? Chapter 141 Page 1273 even Nohadon admits Rosharan Military Power is unmatched Chapter 143 Page 1281 okay, Nightblood can control itself now, cool. Oh, wait. Binding Mishram did so much bad to the world. What happens when it's the Stormfather? … Dalinar you sly old dog. Good show. That has to be one of the biggest brain moves I've ever seen in a book. Chapter 146 Exist, now that's a Dawnshard name I was not expecting Chapter 147 Hey Szeth gets a wife, good for him. Page 1312 hold it. Rohsar is in a time dilation bubble? Months to hours! Interesting, also interesting to note that Hoid Can leave bits of himself around to regenerate from. So by the time Adolin is having his dinner over a month has passed for them. By the calculation that Ulaam gave that would mean almost 280 years to the outside. That can't be right. Which is why Brandon latter revealed that the time dilation is weakening Chapter 147 Page 1319 spren and radiants can leave Roshar So In all I think that was a very good read, and I'm impressed about how many of my expectations were subverted, and at the same time how well it built towards the ending. I'll make two other threads here soon, do't know which one first, but you'll see them soon enough Frustration reads Wind and Truth part 2: An almost masterpiece Prophecy in the Stormlight Archive and LDS theology.
