  1. I see I'm not the only one doing something like this. I did just finish yesterday though so I can't participate unfortunatly.
  2. We do know that actually And while yes there is the issue of getting it offworld, that is an easy issue compared to interworld communication via non-magical means. Conjoined gems are sensitive enough you can make a phone by attatching them to taunt membranes
  3. Someone on Roshar could instantly communicate with someone on the other side of the cosmere, whereas Video sharing would have a several hour delay at a minimum.
  4. I'd say that they probably would be able to store the heat, but the invested light would still kill them.
  5. Notch actually asked Brandon to write something for Minecraft at one point.
  6. But they are instantaneous. It's not so much as lack the capacity as lacking the availibility. There are a number of way to do so, they are just currently restricted to only a small group at the moment.
  7. @Onironte please don't double post(posting twice or more in a row) you can edit your previous post.
  8. Just leave your blade in their spine. They won't be able to move and it will burn through all of their health within a matter of seconds.
  9. Why would they need a lightbulb? Sphere's are just better in every way. Honestly of all the worlds we've seen Roshar is the most advanced in almost every reguard, the only real exception is ranged weapons.
  10. Any form of investiyure will work for Nightblood.
  11. I disagree with just about everything listed.
  12. I agree, but try telling that to the small part of me that feels bad for the ant now.
  13. Even duralumin won't be enough. We don't know that actually. And on top of that tehcnology is not advanced enough for them to get nicrosil.
  14. Tapping heat also give you immunity, or at least heavy resistance to that heat., the same way tapping iron allows you to continue to move.
  15. Fadran you're making me feel bad now.
  16. Given this WoB I'm pretty sure plate's melting point is well above what would be reasonable, if it can be melted at all.
  17. With full knowledge Kelsier doesn''t even attempt it. He knows that Rashek could kill both him and Vin in an eyeblink and isn't going to risk it, at least not with her. So he tries alone, gets killed, Vin tries, and the ending of book one plays out mostly unchanged.
  18. She's BORING. She never does anything remotly intresting. WoK: Kaldain and Dalinar have multiple fights, taking on dozens on enemies at once, running a bridge towards a flock of incoming arrows while Shallan eats jam. WoR: Kaladin 2 vs 4's shardbearers, and 1 vs 1's Szeth, Dalinar is on the verge of discovering the game that Odium is playing behind the scenes. Meanwhile Shallan sneaks around at night giving people money. OB: Dalinar didn't actually do much until the end, but that climax is the best written in fantasy, kill me. Kaladin fights off Yelig-nar, a being with all ten surges bonded to a man we've hated since book one. Shallan spends all book in a downward spiral, accomplishing nothing. RoW: Kaladin singlehandedly is saving Urithiru, Dalinar is mostly absent, and Shallan is sitting in a box looking at people's faces. And this is where Shallan is best.
  19. The books will be realeased to the public at some point after they are delivered to kickstarter backers.
  20. I'm rereading BoM and Khriss says that mistings are one in a thousand. So with that number, and I'm going to assume that the nobility consist of 1-2 hundred thousand, assuming they conprise a tenth of the reported population that gives us 100-200 mistings and 1-2 mistborn assuming that 1% of all allomancers are mistborn.
  21. Actually I prefer cake.
  22. People realize that working together is advantageous, as it greatly increases their chances of survival, and eventually they begin to develop shared languages and culture. People where looking at things that were alive and said "Hey, let's study that." Or do you mean the origin of life altogether?
  23. Because virus's are comaparetivly easy to kill compared to deer or ants. Which is the main reason I'm not going to help the deer, far too much work. Ants? I could kill thousands of those in an hour, Virus's I just wipe the area with some disinfectant and it's done. Speaking of which the ant one reminded me of this dnd meme I saw where a guy asked why gods were always doing mortals bidding, and someone responded by asking him how he would react to a bunch of ants chanting his name while standing in a circle and only demanding sugar or that he kill other ants.
  24. How can I help you with that? If you want me to that is.
