  1. Well what Wayne is doing is exactly what Brandon has described Bendalloy savantism as. So I'd say he is savanting, he's just in the early stages. I'm just waiting for him to be able to anchor the bubble to himself. And the side effects of savantism.
  2. Brandon retconed it Wax is no longer a savant. I doubt he is savanting in feruchemy that's really hard to do without compounding.
  3. The same could be said of Endowment.
  4. Brandon just isn't funny. Lift is the only character that can even get a chuckle out of me anymore. Hoid isn't even that insulting, most of his roasts are surface level name-calling at best.
  5. It would need to be in the hundreds of decillions before it ever became an issue, and even then it might not.
  6. Venli's gemheart also holds Voidlight, which powers her regal abilities.
  7. How would Cultivation have been surprised by a Herald dying? And The Stormfather is Cosmere aware, knowing about the origins of the shards and Adonalsium. He also absorbed Honor's cognitive shadow, so he has some of the memories and likely some of the perceptive of Honor.
  8. People actually found Lirin abusive? I found Lirin a stand up father, who in any other time than now would be completely right. He has high expectations for his children, but what good parent doesn't? He critiques some choices they make but ultimately he supports them, otherwise he would never have gone along with Kaladin's plan to sneak the Mink into the city. He fought exactly once with Kaladin, which is completely normal, especially as children begin to leave home.
  9. The Oathgates already do that.
  10. That's an interesting observation. I'd assume that being able to find caves would be beneficial for them as it enables them to more easily find metal deposits. So I'd say that it's one of the areas that Scadrial simply developed quickly.
  11. "We only tax them a little, to maintain infrastructure and government." -BoM 99. This is not referring to the tariffs Elendel imposes as Steris adds those as an additional tax later in the page. Additionally this is an ongoing taxation, as it is for railroad maintenance, not just connection.
  12. Their would be some, even if just then constantly reusing the same spren, or corrupted spren from Sja-anat
  13. All future sight in the Cosmere is imperfect. There doesn't need to be a reason for it to be wrong.
  14. Wayne is starting to savant and I'm going to be interested to see the negative side effects.
  15. Yes they can. It's mentioned in Bands of Mourning that Elendel taxes the outer cities.
  16. I don't think anyone hates him. Many just perceive him as villainous.
  17. My opinion on that was that it was a natural consequence of being able to summon plate. I bet you could do the same thing with a blade.
  18. The regals and Unmade made occasional takeover attempts.
  19. I dislike the term imperialist when in regards to the bill, it implies that the outer cities are different countries rather than the same one. Which isn't the case because Elendel has tax power over them and they describe conflict as a civil war.
  20. It's the same shape but the wrong color, it's more of a black and white-ish.
  21. I'd imagine a perpendicularity would work.
  22. I prefer the accuracy, even if I say -er myself.
  23. Yes, but Brandon said that men of "red and gold" are important, and Gold is Odium's motif
  24. When link jumps of the sky island you can see a tail poking out from behind another one.
  25. You can see a dragon's tail in the trailer
