  1. Just because it was unknown to Allomancers, doesn't mean the Synod was unaware of it's Feruchemical properties.
  2. Using riverspren and steel fabrials should be able to push water away from them. Either for airlines to the surface, or as a form of propulsion.
  3. Brandon has said a number of times that there are planets with Investiture without shardaic intervention. "Leftover power from Adonalsium" is how he usually describes it.
  4. But we do understand how feruchemy works, and have a solid, even if not perfect understanding of Nicrosil feruchemy.
  5. Are you saying Bondsmiths use the song of Prayer? But on the relevant side Allomancers still need to use metals despite being end positive. So I see no reason for Surgebinding to be different.
  6. Yeah that's the one I was thinking of.
  7. That's not the one I was thinking of but alright I will accept that this is one of those places we have conflicting info.
  8. I can't use the arcanum right now, but there is a WoB on it. If someone who has access wants to look at it Brandon is talking about Atium being from the platinum group and Ettmetal being an alkali metal.
  9. Nor do they call it Cesium. Shardmetals are just regular earth metals that have become so infused with Investiture that they change. No regular metal can be a shardmetal, because that change is required.
  10. Deadeyed blades scream however. What's to say that bellow third ideal they don't cry? Or that they don't cry when bonded to their original radiants.
  11. It can't be. it's silver, not Bavadinium.
  12. Ack I completely forgot to mention you I am so sorry. You've been so fun to talk to, and I look forward to seeing where you go from here. Sssh don't give my secret away.
  13. So it's a difference of power available at once versus power over time. Going through solids would require a lot of power right away, whereas going through air would require the power over a much greater amount of time.
  14. That's an amplitude vs voltage difference in power.
  15. I don't deserve you guys. Thank you all so much. It means a lot to me that so many people enjoy what I do. Thanks cannot begin to sum up the love I have for all of you, but it's the best word I have.
  16. And I look forward to so much more my friend! It's been incredible to find shared interest with you.
  17. You guys are just the best!
  18. Why is pushing on trace metals a matter of power, not one of perception? And why wouldn't it be a matter of power? Solids are much denser.
  19. And you know that how?
  20. I'm of the opinion that it is possible, but would be closer to pushing on trace metals than just a skill thing.
  21. Midius is not his birth name. Cephandrius is much older.
  22. You don't just have to fight other people's perception, but the perception of the object as well. Objects think of themselves as whole, so breaking that is much harder. Likewise gasses and liquids are used to things moving through them, whereas solids are not. And on theme that's fair I guess, even if I disagree.
  23. Thanks guys! Thank you for being here!

  25. Well, It's year three. Man it feels like two years was only yesterday. I really haven't done anything spectacular myself so I'll just skip to thanking everybody. @Experience @Mist @Condensation @Vapor @DramaQueen @Chinkoln @dannnnnnex @Enter a username @AonEne @Knight of Iron @Tesh @Slowswift You guys are all the absolute best and I cannot express my gratitude enough. New this year I have to say I've really enjoyed having @Robin Sedai @The Wandering Wizard @xinoehp512 @Thaidakar the Ghostblood @Szeth_Pancakes @Szeth's Facepalm @The Storming Stormfather @Mage @Flying @Landing Sequence on the shard you are all such wonderful people and I look forward to spending more time with you. Special thanks this year goes out to Nameless and Channelknight Fadran @Nameless I know we've had a lot of arguments this year, but of everyone on the shard, there is no one I would rather have them with than you. Thank you man, it's been a honor to have someone like you here. @Channelknight Fadran Lad I do not have the words to convey how much knowing you has helped me, and I hope I never forget you. I've probably missed some of you, please forgive me, I am a dumb man sometimes and I meant nothing of it. Current statistics
