The easiest (read laziest) answer is that a vessel has died there but I don't think Brandon would do that to us. My thought is Roshar. Shardblade are referred to as spren corpses by Syl so maybe Honor's/a god's corpse is a combination of the Honorblades? Dawnshard? I'd leer away from Sel. The problem is all the investure is in the cognitive instead of the spiritual, i.e. not the physical. If it's not Roshar, Threnody does have the right feel. First of the Sun too.

A very meta choice. I'm firmly in the odium wins first arc camp which would make kharbaranth pretty good.

It should be noted that because of different Connections to the cognitive realm it appears radically differently on different worlds. For example Scadrial's cognitive realm looks nothing like Roshar's.

I concur, I see how could work as a 4th oath but I really don't see any evidence that cements it as the correct interpretation. Furthermore the herald of the Edgedancers is the herald of surgery and medicine so it would make more sense to have a tie in there. I dont think its impossible, just that you should not let Shallan sneak up on you.

Elsecallers have always been a close second for me and your take on their ideals is a solid point for them. I do want to see what you have for truthwatchers though.

Wow, I might have to change my name after Truthwatchers comes out. I am curious though, could you go more into your reasoning behind the 4th ideal? Particularly how the WoB ties in? Edit: wait, wait, wait I think I got it. Does if have something to do with good solutions vs the best solution?

Bendalloy can do that. You'd need a separate metalmind for hydration and nutrition but its covered.

I just want to hear everyone's opinion as it's always been a matter of some debate. Brandon himself has said that Kelsier would of made a great villain. I see him as very Chaotic Neutral. He does good things and evil things but most of them the motive can be chalked up to "prove that I can."

First choice would be Ham, then Spook. Personally I'd be really upset if Marsh swapped just cause I love his relationship with Kelsier as it stands and don't want to see it change to much. I do really like the idea of female inquisitors though.

This would be potent particularly in the hands of someone like Miles or Wayne who burns an expensive metal. Yet another idea. Not actually a combination of powers but Regrowth would probaly be able to "heal" away someone's magic on Ashyn because its ties to disease.

Ooh, I like that! My personal favorite is a Radient Soulbearer. Acting under the assumption that you could store stormlight in a nicrosilmind it would act as a personal perfect gemstone with virtually limitless capacity.

The thing to remember with all of the magic systems is that though the make sense, they sometimes don't in the real world. The key is that they are internally consistent.

Over all I really enjoy it. The biggest point of criticism is that I don't understand where you got "trust" as the 4th ideal. The only 4th ideal we've seen is skybreaker's crusade. To me it's the 4th ones that tend to feel off. But again we've only seen one 4th ideal so its expected for this to be the point where opinions diverge most. And as even a airsick lowlander could tell I'd love Truthwatchers (and elsecallers)
