I think that the thread decided they were in a completely open area, with enough metal that the fullborn can jump around with allomancy but not enough to make them overpowered with that single ability. We haven't gotten into many specifics, we essentially have just discussed if F-speed is fast enough to end the battle as soon as it begins.

1. They have 1 year to practice with abilities, they don't know about the fight yet. 2. They do not know about their opponent's abilities, they only know that it is their job to destroy the opponent. 3. They are on a Shardworld that is neither Roshar nor Scadrial 4. No, a personality would possibly give one person an advantage over the other. We don't want to know which character would beat the other, we want to know whether a fullborn would beat a radiant. 5. We are having the conversation to determine who would win when immensely strong magic systems are pitted against each other. I agree that the only way for the radiant could win is if the radiant soulcasts the fullborn. The only issue is that the Fullborn will be moving at incomprehensible speeds, and they will be highly Invested, which means that the Raidant will have a difficult time soucasting them.

In Shadows of Self, Wax asks Bleeder who she is. Bleeder says that she is the surgeon. We know that Era 2 happens after SA 1-5. Is it possible that either Kaladin or Lirin are in someway connected to Bleeder? Maybe they were killed and became a spike for her? I don’t have any evidence, I just want to hear people’s thoughts and see where this goes.

Ya, I worded my original answer weird. Let me try again. When someone uses Avada Kedavra, it immediately separates the soul from the body, in an irreversible way. Now there are 2 ways I can think of that gold compounding would fail. First, there is no Spiritweb or Identity remaining for the gold to use as a template (this is my shakier theory). My stronger theory is that this curse is irreversible. When you are bringing in magic from another system, you need to play by their rules. According to Harry Potter rules, once someone has been hit, they can't come back. (Except for a few unique situations). The small chance that someone can "come back" under normal circumstances is with the Resurrection Stone, and the Cosmere equivalent of that is a Cognitive Shadow. This is where he says you need to play by their rules, sorry for it being so long.

Gold compounding would do nothing for Avada kedavra or crucial. Neither do physical harm, and gold compounding can only heal harm on the body. I think that copper would protect you from crucio and imperio, but not avada kedavra. I don’t think that brass or zinc would do anything against a dementor, but I honestly have no clue. Guess That Cosmere Character! Forum Edition!
Chinkoln replied to Kidpen's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
@Nameless. I have a few guesses, and they are all from the same scene. These guys are from the scene in Bands of Mourning when they are viewing the flying ship. Stanoux, Irich, Professor Javie, or Stansi? -
Y’all have really good reasoning, and I would be with you, except for one thing. I was just rereading Words of Radiance, and I got to the part where Kaladin and Shallan are stuck in the high storm. During the in-between moment, when Kaladin talks to the Stormfather, the Stormfather called him Child of Tanavast, or something of the like. This means that Syl can’t be the reason for Kaladin’s unique title, because the Stormfather was convinced they no longer had a bond, so he would have called Kaladin that.

Guess That Cosmere Character! Forum Edition!

Is it the Koloss named Human? -
This raises the question of, what is the "Investiture conversion rate". How much Stormlight equals one breath? Can using allomancy, or compounded feruchemy produce breaths? I would have thought that alloying Lerasium would make you a seer, because that is what happens when you alloy Lerasium with a normal metal, it makes you into a misting, but it makes sense that it would become something new.

IF the Radiant knows about nukes, and IF they can produce the exact isotope of plutonium or uranium that is needed, and IF they can then use division to split an atom (which we have no evidence of), and IF they can then survive the blast, then MAYBE this could give the Fullborn pause.

The plate is a side affect of the power, not the source. If the Radiant gets to start with their plate, then the Fullborn can start the battle with their compounded speed already running. We don’t know how long it would take to leech a spren, but even if it took time, I think that the instant the power starts getting drained, they will freeze like a deer in the headlights. In Steelheart when Larsoner steals powers, the Epic is frozen by the feeling of losing power, I expect they would react the same way. When Vin burned aluminum she felt empty, and was stunned for a time after losing power.

If they moved fast enough, they could outrun a nuclear explosion. A nuke doesn’t move faster than any other bomb, it is only more destructive. Era 2 proves that time can be altered enough to see a bomb explode. Yes, my number of PMs with Chaos was 3 until just a few days ago

If the Fullborn superspeeds, punches the Shardplate, then leeches, then the Radiant is neutralized. Soulcasting living things, especially invested ones, is difficult. It would take the Radiant time to soulcast the Fullborn, and from descriptions of Soulcasting in book, materials seem to appear like most in the air. The Fullborn would see this and move out of the way. I agree that people are downplaying the difficulty of the fight, but the Fullborn will inevitably win.

If you held Szeth's oathstone, what would you do?
Chinkoln replied to NameIess's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
This reminds me of some legend about one of King Arthur’s knights. It went like this: They were on a quest, to get information the knight had to agree to marry the most horrendous hag ever. The knight did, and they got married. That night the hag turned into the most beautiful maiden ever. She said that because of his kindness, she could be beautiful half the time, either during the day or at night, but the knight needed to choose now. The knight asked her what she wanted, and she cried in joy, saying that due to his generosity she would be beautiful all the time. I would ask Szerh what he wants to do. Also I would make him let scientists examine his blade for millions of dollars. But everything else would be his choice. -
I’m not sure how I feel about Shallan breaking the 4th wall and talking to “the readers who are following our misguided and strange lives without calling international military aid or a psychologist”

A fullborn can heal from shardblade wounds, and if the metalminds are COMPLETELY full, they would put up some resistance to the Shardblade. And the Fullborn can theoretically kill the spren. The Shardplate doesn’t even matter. The Fullborn is almost definitely strong enough to be able to steel Push Shardplate, so with a good anchor (or compounded weight) then they could send the Radiant flying, or they could Pull the Radiant to them and smash their plate with a compounded pewter fist.

The Lord Ruler could access all the metals, but he didn't know about all of them. He didn't know about Chromium, Bendalloy, Chromium, or Nicrosil. That reminds me, he could just super speed over, break the Shardplate with compounded pewter, and then just erase all of Radiant's Stormlight with Chromium. If the Lord Ruler needs a break, he can burn bend alloy, compound steel, or burn atium. These would all make him uncaring about the attacks. No resonances for either of them.
