    When Vin completely soothes emotions the person gasps and it is said in the book that they immediately feel terrified and lonely, even though Vin soothes all emotions.

    I am new and confused about the reputation titles. What is the list of titles and the number of posts needed for each? Who assigns the titles or is it automatic?

    I think that what has been put down is great. Here is a theory about magic systems. Imagine an Elantrian goes to Scadrial. If he/she also happens to be an allomancer then when they snap then will automatically have the instinct to use that power. All powers come from the shards, which come from Adonalsium. I think this theory would work for any system.

    On the one hand, a movie for Mistborn would be awesome, but on the other why ruin an amazing book by turning it into a movie.

    What if Adonalsium wasn't the first power, but was itself a shard to an even greater power. That would then mean that the cosmere as we know it is about to be turned upside down and that I could be Adonalsium...

    Harmony counts as a shard even though he has 2, isn't that the same principle as Adonalsium?

    I don't get how suddenly all of these new powers suddenly appeared. When Elund became a Mistborn or when Vin drew on the mists why didn't they get all the new metals? They only got what they had previously used, and now even atium.

    I don't get it, is the 17th shard an actual part of Adonalsium or simply another power that was attributed to it?

    Ready to cheat the system, I would want to be Adonalsium. If that is completely not allowed, then I would want to be whatever shard Trell has...
