  1. Individuals with a divine breath are immortal by possessing the fifth heightening. They are also cognitive shadows. They are dependent on breath to maintain the connection between soul and body. If they don't get another breath to fuel they consume their own sense of self (The investiture that has their own identity imprinted on it, their divine breath). Once that is consumed they die. However That divine breath is a cognitive shadow. If it did not have to maintain the body it could persist indefinitely without additional investiture. I wonder if their is a command that would allow them to cut themselves free from physical form and enjoy the Nalthis CR. This is also exactly the kind of thing a super sneak would come up with. Perhaps this is how Yesteal got away from Vasher? Thank you to @Halyo_Alex for the inspiration in this theory. Input is appreciated. I am kind of tired right now and could easily be missing something.
  2. Maybe? SA spoilers I don't know what the right command is but you are going in the right direction.
  3. Lift does seem unusually capable at climbing even without Wyndle assisting her. We also have limited WoBs on Edgedancers or their surges. Also interestingly friction is a method of making heat. Dustbringers have access.
  4. The strange creatures an roshar are created for their environment.
  5. Not really. Inside the body.
  6. Most people don't become cognitive shadows. You could try and make a fake one like in the emperor's soul(that is basically what they are) but unless they are already not dead(by becoming a shadow) it won't really work.
  7. MM. Your right.
  8. It is said by the songs paraphrased "we can't wear this form again" indicating that it is possible. The listeners have to the best of my knowledge no way of getting voidlight.
  9. Welcome!
  10. Ulim got out before Taln broke. Nale though summoning some voidspren was fairly normal for parshe forces even between desolations. Nightform does not seem to require voidlight and it would certainly give an edge.
  11. It does. If Ba-Ado-Mishram stuck around then so could a lot of lessor voidspren. Those are all you need for a regular form of power(well that and a highstorm).
  12. Easier said then done. Not really. Even without the fused you have to worry about forms of power. Also if you attack to hard then your defense is going to suffer considering that human civilization was almost gone every desoltion most radiant resources would probably have been spent keeping things from collapsing more and rebuilding them.
  13. The listener histories claim that they used to have their own cities. They could be talking about the time before humans but I doubt it. I think the Heralds would have stopped that. Probably.
  14. Assuming his is dead and never became a CS the idea of him might still exist in the SR. The idea of a good and wise king who gave inspiration to the radiants.
  15. We don't really know all of what Gavilar was doing. He clearly was not telling the sons of honor everything. Not a spren a spirit. Spren are cognitive. I don't think any left over Nohadon will have any agency beyond the inspirational.
  16. Welcome! Favorite Radiant order and sanderson books?
  17. I am not really sure where you could go with this. This line Seems pretty explicit. Agreed. It is Odium's MO to co-opt or corrupt another shard's magic system. Some of Honor's power being left over in the storm is possible. Don't think so. The Stormfather claims that the Sibling is sleeping and the everstorm is pretty active.
  18. Seems a bit impractical but that is a thing in era 2. Wax avoids the house Lurcher by willingly surrendering his guns at the beginning of the party in BoM.
  19. Great name! Welcome to the shard!
  20. I think Nohadon's soul is still around. The idea of him if you will but not his conciousness. I am not even 100% sure that he wrote The Way of Kings or that everything in the book literally happened to him. As Taravangain points out some of the stories or too neat or simple. At this point he is probably an arthurian figure. I think Dalinar is looking into the SR seeing Nohadon's soul and his mind is placing this in a context that he can understand and relate to. Warbreaker Dalinar is looking for his role model. His ideal king, leader, and radiant.
  21. Maybe post 10 images?
  22. I see him more as a Lightweaver. Tactical, logical, yes, but seeking self excellence and helping others with good stories. Nita from Young Wizards.
  23. The Dor. Or it is just the oath drawing together the different pieces of Honor. Kaladin actually does a lessor version of this.
  24. Welcome!
