    Can't we become other people? Plenty of people go through life changing experiences that force them to alter who they are. That does not make the person they were before fake or the person they become afterward any less real. A great example of this is with doctors. To become a doctor you have to change who you are and how you look at life and death. Becky Chamber's Novel a Record of a Spaceborn Few. Includes a story about a woman who works in a morgue. Because of her familiarity with death and her job she has to present a certain image that she learned by working on dead people. Does this mean that that image is not her? Of course not. She really is the person she presents herself as. It is just not all of herself.

    She might like the culture but I think fundamentally it is a no on breath buying. If she did then it would probably be fifth heightening so that she and her husband could live together forever.

    Only if you believe that Shallan is only one person. Or the subset of her self that she calls Shallan is also the part of herself that is not yet ready. Oaths have to come in their own time. That is a rather limited view. One can be divided an infinite number of times. I think a good last truth for her could be "I am infinite." I feel like you are subjecting Shallan to your own interpretation of the path she has to follow. There is never only one option. As to them all being lies that will clearly kill Pattern. They have not so far. Why should they now?

    No. Different latitudes of the planet move at different speeds and yet this is not an issue. I suppose if you conjoined while moving and maintained an exact speed you could use one.

    I think that is because while moving your pen is moving. Even if only at walking speed that is more then enough to make writing illegible. Just bouncing would be annoying but you might be able to get something if you wrote large enough.

    Impeccable to everyone except Sadeas, Adolin(and eventually Kaladin Dalinar and everyone else). Sadeas could be charming when it suited him. I think the main problem with Amaram is getting him to do whatever you want while at the same time making him intelligent, innovating and capable.

    Perhaps of the two components that effect accuracy (the radiation absorption into another realm and the time alteration) only one (time alteration) effects aluminum.

    Good work on this part I think we can safely edit that part of the coppermind. Yalig-nar does not seem sapaint. Also doesn't he need a host? Why not Nale's spren? It would seem a more obvious choice as it was in the area and we know from Timbre that at least some of them can.

    I am confused on why you think it is so dangerous. I am reminded of that Iri guy who explained their path. How they were all of the one. Sure all of them are individuals but they are also part of a greater whole. I actually think it might be smarter for her to keep going. Break see how many thoughts and feelings she is capable of. Recognize the multitude of contradictory, bickering, and problematic individuals she is and understand that they are all of her.

    Really he was supposed to be both of them. Gavilar worked way to hard at an impossible task. Trying to make a warrior as bold as Dalinar and a politician as skilled as Sadeas who was nevertheless a fool and a sycophant.

    I personally think it was a way of keeping an eye on/controlling his children. If he had managed to get Jasnah married off to Amaram then she would have had to support her husbands doings thus removing a potential SoH competitor and turning her into an asset. Also it would be a good way to secure Amaram's loyalty. Two birds one stone.

    Why? Is that side of you fake? The best networkers are the ones who really feel what they present. Again among Lightweavers the smile is the manifestation of real feelings. A desire to be OK and the part of you that still is. Part of Shallan did not experience trauma. Part of her is a "perfect daughter" and a proper vorin lady. Her problems don't stem from making "fake" people. Her problems stem from denying parts of herself. She does not want to acknowledge her trauma or the fact that she has desires and feelings that she can't reconcile with her vorin lady self so she ignores them.

    More real or more important because? Veil lacks all of Shallan's insecurities. Given how Shallan feels during WoR and latter during OB it makes sense she would prefer Veil most of the time.
