  1. Except they were not going over anywhere in Alethkar that was actually important. Harthstone is not important unless you know about Kaladin's history and if you do know that then you don't need screamers spies work better. Also in urban areas especially I don't think Odium wold want to enforce a complete fabrail ban.
  2. Where?
  3. We think it can do more. We have just not seen it do its vacuum and pressure control. We think it can do Oathgate like travel but we don't know. Your method of just adding ignores the synergy or its lack between the different surges.
  4. We have no idea how many screamers Odium has access to. He used them during a siege or methodically across a large area but I doubt he can maintain global coverage. Doing so in already concurred territory would be a waste of sprenpower.
  5. You would have to be careful or you will limit visibility. Also we don't know what defenses the barge has. This will impact all of our choices. If they have a Deathray on board then I don't think Dustbringers are necessary.
  6. It is still being written. We don't know how long it will be exactly.
  7. In point of fact it was the Heralds that confirmed that the box was in fact going back and forth from Braize. They could easily ID a captured Voidspren once one was brought back and given Navani's lecture I am sure they could provide instructions on how to catch one.
  8. Sounds a bit creepy.
  9. In Terms of Utility during "normal warfare" IE directly on the battlefield. Kaladin Teft Dalinar Shallan Jasnah Szeth Malata Renarin Lift Kaladin and Teft both bring numbers in the form of their squires. Dalinar brings his tactical skill. Shallan's illusions and soulcasting both have a great deal of utility in the field. Jasnah's mobility is somewhat limited(unless transportation works way differently then expected). She can do a lot of damage but if she makes a mistake she is in huge trouble. Szeth of course has a vast array of striking power. Malata is OK for demolition work. Renarin and Lift are really operating on their healing at this point. In one on one match ups given enough stormlight. Szeth wins if he can use Nightblood. Doing so is worth it in such a close encounter. If he can't it is a toss up between Kaladin and Jasnah depending on the limits of her elsecalling ability. Followed by... Szeth "experience" Teft "martial training" Dalinar "bloody mindedness" Lift "unkillability" Malata "range of destruction" Shallan "hiding" Renarin "lack of experience"
  10. No. Your logic seems fine based on what we know. I just think that something we don't know is going to come along and yank on our understanding of how medallions work. Some reason exists that they can't be burned. The southerners have at least a few nicrobursts. They would have tried this.
  11. I actually just expect it won't work for some reason.
  12. The short answer is no. Mythwalker was never even completed. It is not really going to leave you anything but curious and or frustrated unless you are interested in Brandon's writing process.
  13. I would take two windrunners over an edgedancer if I had a truthwatcher on board. One Windrunner could easily be flanked. In fact I would probably want at least four people with gravitation.
  14. This is really excellent.
  15. We don't know a lot about a bunch of the orders. You are going to need either Skybreakers or Windrunners. I personally think Windrunners are better because of their number of squires. Then Lightweavers for camouflage and Truthwatchers if I am right about them having enhanced senses for surveillance. Seeing the other guy first is 80% of combat.
  16. Welcome!
  17. It is possible but given Ivory's attitudes I don't think it likely.
  18. Welcome to the shard and yes.
  19. Good point. Then yes apparently you are correct.
  20. I don't think so. I think the inner spanreed would actually make small circles as it went forwards faster.
  21. what must?
  22. There is no matter in shadesmar. Only investiture.
  23. I personally think you would get a zig zag as the outer will not go faster then the inner.
  24. She is at oath three just not past it. Sorry if I was unclear. My point was she likely was chosen because she fit criteria exactly designed for Dustbringers and probably has had longer then Kaladin to work on this but has not made more progress.
