  1. Venli is really young. Leshwi is a no.
  2. They really will let just anyone be a moderator. Kidding. Congrats Ene.
  3. I think Kaladin doing some useful work somewhere is more useful then him dying and possibly getting a bunch of other people killed.
  4. Generally is seems oath three. In general Lightweavers are pretty weird even if we don't take into account that she is unreliable as a narrator. The order is based on self actualization. This is a journey not a destination. The fact that she is having trouble does not mean that she is breaking her oaths it just means she is having trouble progressing. She was a kid and went through something incredibly traumatic. A bit different then Kaladin giving in to the dark side. I mean yeah but lets face it. With the exception of Jasnah and maybe Szeth I am not sure I want any of team radiant around and even those two would probably end up mercy killing me. IE Kaladin would make a sacrifice play and get taken out early or refuse to abandon a member that was injured.
  5. That is untrue. They are worldhoppers.
  6. The kandra theorize hat a trueself that was hemalurgically spiked with another feruchemical ability would in fact be able to take some one else's attribute of the same type.
  7. It might be more accurate to say crisis bondsmith, political bondsmith and bureaucracy bondsmith.
  8. While I have total respect for Navani she is not omniscient or unbiased. Moral and legal responsibility are different. Jasnah is not under any legal obligation to show things from her private experience nor do I belive would she withhold information without a good reason.
  9. How do you know that? Also methods of sharing information tend to get more sophisticated as they are used and gradually improved assuming you have committed people running them and can avoid ossification. Given the stakes I am assuming that is true. Also Jasnah's journey happened as a private citizen. They were not a sanctioned mission by the Alethi government. The Alethi are not hiding anything. Jasnah is but that is her own business.
  10. If you wanted elemental calcium you could still probably trap it inside a crystal without bonding it chemically. I was also thinking of other metals. No reason exists why elemental iron or zinc could not be included in the bone structure.
  11. But as we just stated singers have different body chemistry. Perhaps it is computational like a mechanical computer?
  12. Why not moreborn? It makes a lot of sense that they eventually figure out a way to have 3 feruchemical abilities and 2 allomantic ones. Given the amount of DNA messing going on not to mention hemalurgy. Moreborn gives you the information you need in general terms.
  13. Personally the first although both are possible.
  14. Hoid can't kill people or even hurt them usually. This is one of the few things we actually know about him.
  15. DO NOT QUESTION MY BRILLIANCE! Sorry I am working on villains lately. In all seriousness though furuchemy is better for combating radiants most of the time. If you are choosing your misting attribute it will depend on what type of radiant you are working with. However as a basic use compounding identity should provide a pretty good defense against a large number of radiant options.
  16. It is understandable that if you think a lost cause is happening that you would rather these puny humans die without killing your own people first. Syl's own analysis states that is inaccurate. He is trying to break the chessboard. Stop the game from ever starting. Wash it all away. He does not want the voidbringers to win he wants everyone in the physical realm to loose.
  17. Where is that even from? I believe it is better to think of him kind of like a person walking in on a pair of murders in 1920s Chicago. An attitude of I have to get rid of all of this NOW or the consequences will be dire. I don't want any part in what is going on. He is melodramatic not to mention grumpy. Imagine a black whole was approaching our solar system and you decided to go talk to the sun's spren. It would probably have the same attitude. YOU ARE A LITTLE SPECK OF NOTHING. THIS THING HAS KILLED SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS. WE ARE DEAD. THERE IS NOTHING TO BE DONE. Also keep in mind that the stormfather while unbonded can't do much but send storms.
  18. The diagram's goals would allow some spren to survive based on the continued existence of some Rosharans. We do not know their motivations and will not until RoW. The stormfather clearly stated his goals were to try clean up the area. Stop thinking of him as a person he is a force of nature. A part of a highstorm's ecological job is to clean up after carnage. As such the stormfather felt the impulse to do so.
  19. I agree. Feruchemist-Misting > Mistborn-Fering. You can now see a biting example of why my terminology is superior!
  20. I think you could use nicrosil to fix that. Also simple theft would give you what you needed for any conceivable purpose. Compounding is super efficient.
  21. Pewter, a pulling metal, pulls investiture down into the PR from SR making you stronger. Tin, a pulling metal, pulls information from the physical realm to the cognitive.
  22. Store identity. The Kandra theorize that doing so would allow a full feruchemist to use another feruchemist's metalminds. So if our truself-mistborn does this they should be able to compound metalminds from the 15 other types of feruchemist thus giving them all the attributes at once.
  23. Because I am far to lazy to causally come up with 16 unique names.
  24. I do not speak German at all but is it possible that he is using a diminutive or implying a relationship by the pronoun? It really is not. As of the 19th century he was actually gender neutral singular. The motto of the grammarians was "the masculine embraces the feminine." Since we now at least officially support gender equality that really doesn't work anymore. However despite some writers using it as a singular pronoun it has never really caught on.
  25. In a fight? Probably steel. The extra speed basically gives you the necessary time to out think any opponent you want. You don't really need to be completely unkillable when no one is fast enough to touch you. Although if we count prep time then it is definitely aluminum as you can then suppress your identity to compound all of the other 15 thus effectively making yourself a fullborn.
