By that logic they would be drawn every time the shanay-im flew by. True. However it also does not make sense that she can use such a high powered ability so easily and without drawing in stormlight. I wonder if a way around that exists...
-
This implies that she is using abilities tied to her regal status. If she could fuel all her radiant abilities with voidlight she would not have to worry about the screamers.
-
Except usually it is in the preview of transformation. Note that she does not draw in stormlight when doing so.

You should not risk Nightblood for no reason They have no way of knowing Nightblood is any more valuable then any other shardblade It is super hard to use. If kept out too long it could collapse Dalinar's perpendicularity.

Or maybe it does work but only on incredibly low power?
-

We still have no proof. It seems reasonable they he could but I don't know if he can. No Kaladin confirmed in OB that the everstorm does not grant voidlight. I was referencing WoKs when he looks into shadesmar while learning gravitation.
-
I agree but that implies that Odium has been pretty slow on the uptake(which can happen certainly) but more importantly he has alerted a top person that something dangerous is going on. If he just wanted Renarin off the board wouldn't it just be a "I have a mission for you Leshwi." Finally killing R would not actually stop Glys. We know he could rebond nor is an enemy strike a "new dangerous operation." During warefare that sort of thing happens pretty commonly. I was thinking about WoR when learning gravitation and sees a sudden shift.
-
We have only seen Renarin use stormlight.
-
Sure but a second look does not seem to warrent a full plan change or a status update to dangerous unless something really unusual was found.
-
I kind of expect Odium to have specific fused for this kind of thing. He has a whole roster and is super aware of what goes on around him.

Does it? Couldn't it just be the amplification of Venli's natural abilities? Even Kaladin sees some shadesmar visions. They might be just voidspren. Good question. Also the question. Where does the voidlight come from?
-
Oh no I never theorized that it is just good to know what workform does. Two separate clauses. They do. Also they could have stopped on the way. We don't know they came here direct. Maybe? Odium must be somewhat aware of Renarin from before now.
-
But they do know about steel from chapter 10 so...
-
He will destroy them if used. I am also sure that at least a few of them would be able to resist his effects.

That is a good guess.
-
We know that something happened. We also know or can deduce that Odium has some idea of what. However I am not sure we can conclude that he was actually the one who started this. His actions seem too knee jerk.
-
I think Venli is referencing the Lightweaving fused. We have seen them before. Oooh. But what is it?
-
Sure but whose plan and what deviation?
-
So whoever is "keeping score" is worried? What about?
-
Agreed. Venli's plan seems risky. It also seems that something important just happened. This seems like a reference to Navani's work but what else could it be? What just happened that was so important/dangerous. Also good to confirm Venli has cohesion and workform happens with gravitationspren.
-
Is often a valid strategy. You should not employ your queen simply because you believe it can do some damage but to secure specific goals. Also no piece on the chessboard is truly secure anyway. Nightblood can probably be kept under reasonable security in Urithiru.

Also even while imprisoned he is still useful by supplying information and advice. Also using Nightblood is super risky in combat and if he looses the weapon who knows what the fused will do with it? Also every point made by nath stands.
