Yes. He is taking advice from Ishar who is the maddest of the Heralds. Unclear actually. The following is just my read on things. When a Herald broke all ten would teleport back to Roshar and warn the humans. This would give them some prep time. They would then lead the humans against the fused and help civilization as much as possible before going back. When you killed a fused in the old days it would be reborn on Braize and have to take the long way to Roshar. As such the Heralds had to leave before the fused they killed could make it to Roshar for round two.

The wrapper does not taste good. If has a certain tang that ruins the chocolate. It would be simpler to eat them separately.

A 2nd Susebron-like Trick? Shallan and Colors
Karger replied to Crylorenzo's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It also might be a dampening of that aspect of her Lightweaving. As we see with Tein Lightweavers do have slightly enhanced perceptions. -
Or maybe she will grab Shallan and the two will compare notes.

As we understand it this caused this this and this If Eshonai was a little more careful and avoided stormform a "classic" desolation would have happened with the fused at a huge disadvantage due to the lack of bodies. One or two fused could have gotten out and caused some chaos espeshally if they managed to heal some of the parshendi but the damage would have been considerably less.

Mraize implies that he knows R's real ID. This means he is either wrong(in which case the plan is shot), lying(Why bother? Shallan will have to know eventually for his plan to work), or telling the correct truth. You are giving Restares WAAAY too much credit. Because Dalinar thinks he is drawing on the ground he deduces Renarin is seeing the future, figures out that he is in danger and withdraws to shadesmar? Also Amaram is communicating with him during the end of WoR. I don't think that Lasting Integrity is able to receive communication via spanreed and anything else is too slow. Maybe but I don't think she can get them to work quickly. Loose threads are generally to be cut in this kind of game. That was a short term one off deal. I don't think this is the same as amnesty from everyone forever. No. The Kholin guard came up with that on their own.

Ishnah really is the killer...
Karger replied to Hoiditthroughthegrapevine's topic in Stormlight Archive
It all fits pretty well. Ishnah is on site, her background has been verified by the people responsible for the crime and she has easy access to Shallan. Maybe Shallan will crack this and reveal it at an opportune moment forcing Iyatil to try and kill her and fail. -
Unknown.

Technically no but the Stormfather would probably know if he up and left.

So modern Rosharan scholars do believe that the world is round although mythology and religion have not caught up yet. As such they probably know about planetary movements including the moon and given the background of cosmere aware individuals I think it likely that the hypothetical existence of other inhabited planets is known in some academic circles. As far as ordinary people are concerned. I do not think that the idea of far away lands with weird customs, technology, and even magic are particularly surprising. That is kind of how the real world works though. The idea of a single all powerful deity was not even a big deal in a very small part of the roman empire and took centuries to spread. Jesus's career was not exactly noteworthy at the time. Jon Snow made the first practical use of the germ theory of disease in the 16th century and no one really took note. Giordano Bruno, the guy who actually proposed an infinite universe teaming with, life was actually seen as just another political dissident and his works were largely ignored. People don't always take note of earthshaking developments.

I personally hope Azure shows up again. It is about time.

How would he have learned? I don't think Dalinar told Amaram. He says no. Shallan is not proficient at torture anyway. The GB must have something else in mind. Shallan at least is Vorin. Restares might be safe but politically he is out of options. He has no power, no people, no money. The one card he has left to play is information. The GB's goal is probably getting him to play it. Possible. I doubt she can keep him alive though if the GBs want to kill him. While I can't prove otherwise I think Brandon will probably want to avoid the cliche. I actually agree with you. This one really is a challenge. She also acted like an idiot. Also Shallan never met her and Resteres is a he. As spren they have to keep an agreement. However to achieve such an agreement the honorspren must respect you a lot(considering they don't trust humans and can't break promises). All male Heralds are also accounted for(except Kelek I suppose but given how cowardly he is I find it unlikley). He would also have no reason to hide in Lasting Integrity. No one can kill him. Resteres is male You assume prior agreement. Given their attitude to humans I have a hard time believing he had one. I find it more likely he presented himself as helpless and was granted asylum via false pretenses.

You don't.

Welcome to the shard. This theory has been discussed at length over the last few weeks. I personally take issue with it as it feeds into negative stereotypes around DID and Brandon has made a commitment to try and portray Shallan more accurately. I also think it has a verity of narrative problems not to mention logistical and plausibility ones. My opponents seem to argue the rule of cool allows it.

It is times like these that I am glad Jane Austen died young.

He really one upped my expectations. Getting into shadesmar(that one must have involved crossing into Cultivation's perpendicularity or taking an oathgate controlled by team radiant) then crossing the place itself(it is currently a war zone) to get to probably the most secure place on Roshar. Technically he does not specify if killing him is or is not what he wants/thinks she will do. I doubt Mraize would particularly mind his death if Shallan manages to extract necessary information first. Agreed. Either Shallan has met this person or they are known generally. It can't be a family member. They are dead or accounted for. I suppose her father could be a CS but that does not seem probable. Odium claims she was consumed by Blightwind. I suppose it is possible that she became a CS but the idea of her masterminding so much(Jasnah was convinced she was an idiot) and the Honorspren giving refuge to such a terrible person both defy belief. Who could it be?

Gah! A direct attack to the feels with men who are in touch with their feelings.

I think you are looking at this through the eyes of a 21 century reader rather then through Shallan's. We have explored the entirety of our planet relatively thoroughly and have been fascinated by ETs for decades. To Shallan who has barely herd of Azir and Shinovar as of WoKs the idea of other worlds or other peoples is not really that interesting. She does not even know for certain her world is round. She thinks so but no one has circumnavigated it yet. For all she knows there could be a whole other continent on Roshar that has never been visited. As such I think that he knowledge of what Mraize is up to is going to stay within OB parameters. Mraize wants a monopoly of stormlight trade to far away lands that are only of academic interest to her. Hardcore fans will know what is up. More casual readers will likely take hints that the specifics are unimportant or decide to become hard corefans. Yes Shallan has known since WoR. Mraize said he was a Skybreaker acolyte and most likely attempted to kill Amaram as a way of proving himself. I personally don't think that Mraize is unprofessional enough to tell more then one or two lies and then only when strictly necessary. I don't see that being the case here.

Okay, for real, Sebarial is Thaidakar
Karger replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
He is not. WoBs have confirmed that he finds them unimpressive. -
I think that in this case at least that is shorthand for "before all this stuff started happening."
-
We already knew from OB that it does not.

CALL CHAOS! THIS THREAD MUST BE DELETED BEFORE BRANDON CAN SEE IT! -
Regardless of who did the actual spiking Kelseir was clearly effected.
