  1. Seems fairly clear. That is probably true but it is also probably true for pretty much all the surges. Additionally I do not think we should underestimate the potential of what a genius fused with six millennia of training under her belt and access to information via Odium can do with just her mind and proper equipment. Her brewing up a virus with the potential you are talking about via pure soulcasting seems unrealistic given that it took a cooperative effort of the modern world's medical professionals over a month to sequence covid.
  2. Jasnah does both in WoKs and OB respectively(in OB it is oil but I don't think it really matters for the purpose of discussion).
  3. But from that you know what is going to happen. Your view is interesting but it fails to explain the experiences of Hoid and the Aimians.
  4. Odium would never except that proposal. He needs to kill Cultivation and the Stormfather.
  5. Basically. Or maybe just control panels.
  6. Yes but I don't think we can expect success. I think some sort of stalemate is more likely as that makes the conflict more interesting. That is certainly noteworthy. However given how well he knows them giving them the illusion of autonomy while weighting the odds seems kind of like his MO.
  7. But then how can you store it? Are well all constantly glimpsing our futures but when we store fortune not?
  8. Loosing control of Urithiru seems like a book five thing IMO. Loosing control for prolonged periods would not really work twice as a method of upping the stakes.
  9. An interesting point but not related to what I was talking about. Taravangian may or may not have used magical means to see the future but Odium's comment stands either way.
  10. What about Lezian? He had more voidlight then he could carry with him. He had to use spheres to teleport more then three times.
  11. I meant this WoB
  12. No she did not. The GBs did that on their own initiative(or said they did).
  13. That seems to violate thermodynamics.
  14. Exactly but his name does not reference his transportation but rather the overt phenomena around what he does while transporting. Oh I agree completely but their name just references that they spend time in the sky not that they can manipulate gravity. I agree to a point but cohesion is so inherently suited to building that it seems odd you would opt to use soulcasters instead. True you have to import mass but in the mind of an organized builder that is an advantage as you can also dispose of rubble efficiently. I personally do not think that either the surge of Transformation or Cohesion would be particularly suited to making a bio-weapon. Given that her other interests are in bonds, spren, radiants, surges, and oaths I would actually peg her as something more analogous to a Truthwatcher if we did not have context. I think it more probable that she created the bio-weapon through conventional means. I don't think soulcasting an organic material that does not yet exist would be particularly easy for a soulcaster. We have seen they can copy existing ones pretty well but making something from scratch seems a lot harder.
  15. I think someone did say this but great minds so who knows? We don't know how corruption works. Raboniel has both "natural talents" and "gifts of Odium." Her "special build" may allow her more then normally possible.
  16. Or the spiritual realm. A latter WoB clarifies that fortune is a property(like identity or connection) that is always in the spiritual realm but you are not always using fortune when using the spiritual realm which in tern implies that you can use future sight without fortune.
  17. I personally think that logicspren might be excellent for fine tuning. Humans have petty good understanding of mathamatics and if logicspren can communicate this in terms other spren understand you might be able to alter the behavior of spren significantly.
  18. We don't really know what the rhythms are. Perhaps it is possible that they contain a lot more information then we have been previously lead to believe.
  19. Given that both a vessel and Hoid are on the table where NB is concerned that is probably pretty actuate. On the other hand NB is one of a kind and so valuable and expensive to use that it has limited utility.
  20. Exactly. Relmatically speaking no reason exists why you can't use soulcasting to kill all the fused. Practically doing so is not plausible. HA! I knew my lawyerform singers would make a reappearance one of these days!
  21. Given the difficulty soulcasting just a normal human I don't think a random Lightweaver or Elsecaller would be up to the task. Also Odium has probably known how to kill the Heralds for a considerable amount of time given what Moash did to J. I don't think killing them is good enough for him.
  22. Why not? If you soulcast their entire soul how can they heal? They just become fire or blood or crystal. There is a reason Hoid is careful around soulcasting.
  23. I might agree with you but look at the other names. The "ones of husks" has nothing overtly similar to Transportation(or whichever surge Lezian is using), the "heavenly ones" has nothing to do with Gravitation and the ones of mask has nothing to do with Lightweaving. Their names seem to be based on the overt things they do not the actual relmatic ways they do it. Soulcasting is possible but we know they have Cohesion and using it seems much more efficient for building then Transformation.
  24. On the not really a shipper side Leshwi probably also thinks having Lezian go around trying to kill Kaladin is unprofessional.
  25. Leshwi says " They somehow found some way to shift the Oathpact to depend on a single member" indicating back in the day it did not work unless all of the Heralds were involved.
