  1. In WoR Jasnah mentions that in the west a female godless that we know as cultivation is worshiped but where is that? We know its not the Shin (they worship the spren of stone). We know it is not the Purelakers(They worship Nu Ralik). We know it is not the Azish(who worship the Heralds) or the Emuli(who worship the stormfather and I think are budding monotheists). We know it is not the Tahiki, the Rirans or the, Reshi so who?
  2. He also does not have scars on his arms and Kelsier is not a Rosharan native.
  3. I am not saying you are wrong but I think Lightweaver ideals as subjective truths come from the belief that truth and morality are subjective. I don't think that any other order subscribes to this point of view. I do think you are on to something with your point about them being the most varied order but it also may just be that the Willshapers are the mad inventor and explorer order so of course they are going to be crazy.
  4. Moak clung to Twig leafblessed knowing that fire could destroy even an honorworm
  5. So is their a Skybreaker available?
  6. May I have Skybreaker then?
  7. I think so although I could be wrong. (It has happened at least once before)
  8. We all remember how to trap a spren you must "lure it in with something it loves." At this point the fused are essentially spren whose only purpose is to kill humans. When a fused reincarnates they need the body of a singer to inhabit that they identify by the gemheart. What if team radiant harvested gemhearts from the singer dead and lured the fused into them perhaps by seeming to kill humans and attracting deathspren. Would this work?
  9. Im not disagreeing but I must point out that the divine attributes are a model used by humans not something that actually exists.
  10. As of Oathbringer Venli has bonded a Lightspren and become the first WIllshaper(that we know of) in several centuries. What do you think her(Do you use her for a singer not in mateform? I think so but why? They are not female.) next oaths will be. My current guess is that oath 2 will be "I will create that which brings joy to others." And oath 3 will be "I will be careful in how I bestow my creations." Thoughts?
  11. Well we know the Natan people have blue skin do to them crossbreeding with amaians(hope I spelled that right). I doubt the Natan people have the full range of abilities that we see Axies the collector display but they may have some variant of some of them. Perhaps they sleep less? This would be useful for a group known for their building prowess. None stop labor and all that. I belive the Iri are dragon human hybrids which is why they have a distinctive hair collaring but I do not believe they have any special abilities. As you have mentioned the horneaters and herdazians are human singer hybrids. This is why some horneaters can see spren, hear the rhythms, are tallier then average and have unique features. Herdazians have fingernails colored like carapace. Additionally, both groups have a higher then average number of asexual people in their populations. I believe this is all we know at the moment.
  12. Moak broke his back. Quite and deadly the man could not turn from the faith of the stick as his friend has urged and so he attacked Twig at this critical juncture and Twig leafblessed broke in two.
  13. Glyphs are also not an actual writing system they are a collection of nouns and adjectives with no grammar that have to be memorized.
  14. I think that because the Windrunners are a martial organization with a strong belief in leadership that their ideals will reflect this development. After the ideal of Radiance the first ideal that a Windrunner swears is among the first ideal that a soldier has to learn. The ideal of being responsible for the safety of others especially those who depend on you. The second unique ideal is similar. Neither a soldier nor a leader can let their personal feelings get in the way of doing what is right. Teft had to protect himself because others depend on him (and he depended on himself) and Kaladin could not let his personal animosity get in the way of his sworn duty. Going along this line of reasoning the next lesson a leader will learn is delegation. A leader cannot just take responsibility he must be willing to give responsibility to others and expect them to live up to it. Kaladin has learned to take responsibility but we have yet to see him surrender any. He keeps trying to do everything himself and he does not allow anyone else responsibility for what happens. He blames himself for Kolinar despite their being nothing he personally could have done to stop the situation from going as it did and he could not swear the 4th ideal because he could not trust Dalinar to handle himself without being present to defend him.
  15. I ship Mem and Mraize. I think it would be wired but kind of amazing if done correctly.
  16. Parents want them to take a study abroad?
  17. Stick I am, holy is phrase, phrase is holy, I am a stick.
  18. Intentionality matters.
  19. I think lightweaving is a better form of murder. He simply did not see the stairs and so he fell down them and broke his neck. Tragic accident.
  20. I don't see Odium as a force for breaking connections I see him as a force of entertain or gravitational for emotions. A black hole of of emotion hence a void. The breaking of connections is a side effect. She saw herself as maintaining stasis by killing him the lesson that was at the core of her personality. Now as to Shard v Shard fighting. I think that Shards generally fight through proxy hence a contest of champions and why Odium is so dangerous. Most shards have a "week point" something that can be held hostage against their behavior if I wanted to fight preservation I would mess up his permanent society and break it down. He would have to expose himself to stop me. If I want to anger Ruin I make a permanent society he would hate that and expose himself to stop me. This makes fight through proxy ideal. It settles disputes and allows shards to go one their way without dying. Because they are immortal they can always try again latter. Odium's intent is to keep doing what he thinks he is justified in doing so he has no "week points" this way. The only other way for a shard to injure another that we have seen is in HoA where Vin slams herself into Ati. This requires a shard's power and if Ati had been less shackled to scadrial(he was invested their) or less stupid(he had gone several eons believing that preservation could not fight) he might have been able to "doge." This is most likely why Odium keeps his investiture free I see him currently assuming a defensive posture on Braize so that Cultivation can't just finish him off.
  21. I doubt that Sadeas was involved. He was loyal to Gavilar at the time (we know that he was the decoy during the attempt on the kings life) it strikes me as odd that such an individual who is willing and expects to die on behalf of a King would be willing to kill said King's brother for no real gain.
  22. Im thinking of Warbreaker Vivenna not Oathbringer.
  23. Perhaps because all humans in the cosmere contain part of Ruin and Shashara's intention was to create something capable of destruction she asked her followers for help creating something destructive so Ruin's essence came along with their breath.
  24. A Skybreaker to give strict interpretations of the law(good for finding exactly what the law says in regards to this individual). A Lightweaver to find subjective truth(good for determining things like intentionality). An edgedancer to remind the other two to be merciful and to prevent many of the flaws in the current American legal system(people who society gives up on turning to crime or understandable mistakes becoming criminalized).
  25. Agreed. Odium does not make stuff himself. His MO is more corrupt others.
