  1. Although also probably lethal.
  2. Thank you.
  3. Dalinar nominates Hoid. Hoid is not there but maybe he leaves a letter or something saying that he excepts the positions. Odium goes crazy trying to find the guy.
  4. Its a WoB.
  5. But its not like Hoid has to be present to become a champion.
  6. Shifting perceptions is more of Lightweaver thing. Truthwatchers seem to take the world as is and try to improve it. Their patron is a scholar. I think that illumination for them is more of a form of perception. Perhaps the progression shows them how their perceptions could be changed. Like a sketching tool.
  7. In some rich people keep them around as life insurance. Other that that we only have Idris and Hallandren sorry. Agreed. In Hallandren they will be powerful anywhere else that we know they will either end up property or dead.
  8. I personally think something more interesting will happen here. Maybe treachery that leads them to serving Odium or perhaps a fragmentation into several religions. However I don't think any religion on earth has just collapsed and I don't think sandman will do it either.
  9. I don't think a shard can nominate themselves as a champion. The entire point of a battle of champions is generally to fight by proxy. Depending on the rules he could just leave Roshar thus achieving permanent stalemate.
  10. Wait. What if Shallan has Dalinar choose Wit as honor's champion?
  11. This is untrue. Kaladin also brings with him a great respect for life, the future for Windrunners as a Radiant order, and an ability to lead that is incredibly important. And these are just the top
  12. E-readers are also cheaper to produce. Also they are becoming less popular according to a new york times servery.
  13. No. He stored healing in his arms bands. He then used these to heal rather then constantly have gold in his stomach. He never burned them,
  14. I think it was the people at Tor who first made the connection. Great images!
  15. Perhaps it is part of whatever contract he has with his publishers. Perhaps it is just an artificial deadline he imposes to keep things moving at reasonable speeds and to give everyone something resembling a schedule to work with.
  16. Note this. A lot of things are theoretically possible but impractical. I generally get this as sign to take a pinch of copper.
  17. For all we know The Evil can modify or drain investature better then Nightblood can or is smart enough to know how to use Nightblood effectually and strong willed enough too.
  18. My personal theory is that the culmination of Shallan's arc is going to be her going toe to toe with the midnight mother in a battle of monsters. I don't think that the monsters will be the ones to do the finishing move but it will still look awesome.
  19. I just figured that was the CR doing odd things.
  20. I thought that those are just those planet's respective suns.
  21. Ew. Look I recognise that some people ship these two but their relationship is nothing like that at all and I for one appreciate a young man and woman having an important, intimate, exclusive relationship that is not romantic. Putting them together just feels wrong not to mention cliche. Agreed. Remember they won that battle. Their ship numbers are now higher so their is probably less stigma around ejecting+ Spensa ejected and it saved the world.
  22. Maybe. Or possibly problems made sooooo much worse. Its about a 50/50 gamble.
  23. You have to swallow metals to burn them.
