My point was this was not a problem for me. We don't know the full capabilities of either force so I decided not to worry about them. With an unlimited number of monkeys in my army I could overwhelm the Heralds pretty much no matter how strong they are. My problem is that if the Heralds just keep healing this won't matter a bit. The Heralds were fueled directly by Honor.

I fail to understand. They tried but it did not work it would not work unless Mistborn spoilers You think they could have just overwhelmed him? Keep in mind that again

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Karger replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you actively wonder why you can't use your ability to translate Alethi women's script as a language requirement. -
Then why did no one try this with TLR and why did it not work? That is not what I am talking about. The Herald's were killed numerous times prior to the breaking of the oathpact. I want to "make you more powerful then you can possibly imagine" for referencing that movie. But more powerful how? It is not like raw physical damage should bother the Heralds much. Especially Pailiah and Vedel. If it was just a matter of doing enough physical damage I would not see a problem. The current fused could overwell a lone Herald via shear numbers. However all of the Heralds have access to a never ending supply of healing energy that cannot be severed. How does one deal with that?

Ow. But seriously I doubt that would slow any of them down.

It was a standard romantic commodity a one to two hundred years ago. Even all of the minor or side characters would get married.

That kind of transformation is spiritual.

We know that the Herald's "died" during the desolations but they have unlimited access to Honor's investiture. How did the fused kill them?

Shardcast will be out Saturday this weekend

Thanks for letting us know. -
Perhaps it was a lifeless. Those are commercially available on Nalthis, easily transportable and with thousands of years to develop awakening you might be able to get them to talk once and a while. They are also REALLY good at faking death. Alternatively maybe one of them had a breath and another one of the ship members had a terminal illness or worst of all was actually murdered by his own cremates.

I am fairly sure the answer is no. Heralds did not have shardplate(Nale does now because Radiance).

Since we have literally no information to work with I am going to speculate here. Tarim is certainly a skilled duelist but it would not surprise me if he only came to prominence after Gavilar finished his conquest. He might have sat the conflict out or perhaps they trusted him enough to hold areas elsewhere(Dalinar can't be everywhere at once). It would also not surprise me if he lost or resigned his job after Gavilar's assassination. Failing your most important job is like that.

Nale stole his own honorblade as far as we know.

What happens when one speaks an ideal
Karger replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
They seem to be associated with gloryspren. The sub spren shardplate is a conventional theory though. In fact most people default to it when they are trying to figure out the answer to the question"where does plate come from." It does have some problems but we don't really know much about plate anyway. Skybreaker squires also have a lower efficacy. This seems to be pretty consistent as these things go. -
The table is an in universe construction. The fact that Scadrails have a silly classification system does not really mean much in my book. Less able to express yourself. Tapping identity may cure or at least alleviate some of the symptoms of depression. You have trouble communicating and your bonds to things like family and nation become less emotionally charged is how I read this. Less effected by serendipity. You don't have that pull that makes you feel "this person could be the one." Fortune is not luck. I think of it more as a gravitational tide. It pulls some things together and others apart. It is also likely not 100% efficient. You can't(as far as we know) store 100% of any attribute. Maybe you just give up on things really easily. I seriously doubt it. You might give yourself a mental health problem though. I think it just turns you into Sherlock Homes. You notice everything remember everything and get really good at predicting certain things and deductive reasoning.

Nicrosil compounding? They store determination.

I am 90% sure that this is a form that disguises you. That is not really what they do. Shardblades when summoned simply don't work in living tissue. Otherwise you could cut it normally by going fast enough. A shardblade only mists when being summoned or dismissed. A lot of things are possible. Good luck with your theory.

Adonalsium's name comes from the Hebrew word for god. Only if you presuppose that you are correct though.

Are there any unusual things you could do with surges
Karger replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
This was my impression. Besides plants don't age like humans do. -
Back five SA will open with Gawx cleverly capturing Lift with a food baited trap so that he can keep her still long enough to propose.

Converting investature is difficult. Also Odium might not want that. Finally it might actually decrease utility for example I don't know if it would work on oathgates anymore.
-
The two constructs are extremely similar. A lightweaving is very similar to a lifeless.
-
Didn't they give it to him first. All investiture should be corruptible.

I doubt that is going to happen. Although I do hope he and Lift visit. Slippers?
