This was my assumption. But he has not been the King's Wit since the everstorm started. Yes.

I recently had a thought. There are 6 primal sources. Calum has six important people in his life. His mother who is associated with sky(breath just breath), his brother who is associated with earth(stubbornness and animal comunication), Reyla who is associated with moon(mysterious new relationship and a different kind of person then Calum is used to), Soren who is associated with sun(brash, strong and good humored), Claudia(teacher bringer of information) and his stepfather Harrow who I can't place(which annoys me).

Why did Hoid tell Dalinar about Adonalsium
Karger replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
I did not say it did not. I meant it does not tell you things in a meaningful way. IE Kaladin knowing he needs to get to Dalinar. Azure says "tide of fortune" Kaladin can't explain why he needs to get to Dalinar. He just knows that it is important that he does so. Under this theory. If you were to tap fortune in a crowded marketplace certain people would pop up as important. You would have no real understanding of what makes them so important but you would know that you have to talk to that guy on the left. -
Why did Hoid tell Dalinar about Adonalsium

I don't think tapping fortune feruchemically gives future sight. To the best of my knowledge it just brings people closer to you like in serendipitous meetings. -
Hoid is adapt at hiding himself and has access to future sight that can blind Odium and the diagram. It is also possible that he met Helaran when he was in mufti and told him a story like he does to those he wants to help.

Well reasoned. I agree. However radio is not much use without radio receivers. In the cosmere future this could be awesome though both for sending transmissions and jamming enemy ones. Personally I think microwaves would be more useful day to day. Imagine not having to get up and go to the microwave to make popcorn!

They can still think they are just hopeless to the point of compliance. So basically Taravangian?
-
This also leads to the question. What if you burn your own spike? What if the identity in the spike is keyed to you?

Welcome. What Cosmere and other Brandon have you read?

My morally worst person is an empath who causes pain in all forms for the pleasure of being able to dominate another being. As their servants/henchmen they have people whose free will they have removed. This is what he does once he finishes driving you insane via manipulation. Put you back together and turn you into an automaton by manipulating your choices until you relive you can't do anything but what they say.

I'll give you that Sebrial is awesome but the idea that he is secreatly the mastermind of a worldhopping criminal organization suspends belief at least for me. I personally don't think Harmony would approve of a kandra joining the diagram.

I thought Kandra were just stoic. I don't think they can actually turn off their feelings. Also what would his job there be? To betray T at the right moment? I recently came to believe that “Captainlord Malan sounds a little bit too like Melaan. Although I have spent so much time reading these...

As far as I am concerned their is not even a difference stylistically. Kaladin's intent is to kill him either way. Han Shot First #the truth. Is different as it changes the character as they are introduced.

You have everything! We know odd stuff is going to happen. That is it.

Ironsides claims they can detect it now. Also they might be able to duplicate the tec.

Sad face. That is above life expectancy.

This is all of course subject to whatever decision making process Brandon makes when he makes the call. I personally think he would pass on making invisible opponents. They are really difficult to fight. To each their own.

I do. Bending light like that would cause distortion. You would get a fuzzy area. Like a mirage.
