    I had a snorting laugh when I read your post! He has a very Hoidish vibe to him...... which means I love him. I think we almost have everyone together!

    "She was the b..." A man's voice cut him off. "My friends, can we not all resolve this peaceably?" Jurgen felt the tension fading. This is unnatural. Came a thought, but it couldn't bother him. Odd. "We're good now." Or at least Mutig is good. No telling with the others. "Tell the guards to leave." He said gruffly to the stranger. For some reason he assumed the man had that kind of authority. He seemed perfectly in control, despite how he was dressed. @ZincAboutIt

    "Let's calm down," Jurgen said walking around Mutig. He had his bow out. When did I get that out? "We are all weary travelers who don't want a fight." He eyed the small group that had converged on them. All this for helping a woman..... My dad was right about them! "Why don't we all go get a drink? There's a tavern right there!" @Everyone

    Jürgen listened in silence. It wasn't every day that you got to listen to a bear and a girl talk about their fears. "You're a traveling healer?" He asked Amara after a pause. "And I presume you're a traveling bear?" He said with a smile to Mutig. @Sorana. @Chasmfiend#1

    "hey, it's okay." Jürgen said awkwardly. He slid off landing with a grunt, and reached up to help Amara down. @Sorana @Chasmfiend#1

    "The census is why we're all here. To be counted. Well, most of us are here for the money. And I believe it's at the Academy." Jürgen eyed the beast before climbing onto its back. "I think it will be close to the middle of the city." @Sorana.

    "Come now good sirs, surely this bear isn't the oddest thing you've seen today!" Jürgen said, clapping one of them on the back. "He doesn't seem to be a threat and we can take it from here." Jürgen hoped that worked. He was curious about the bear, but didn't want any trouble. @Chasmfiend#1I @Sorana

    Her response was cut short by Bella's sudden motion. Sam watched the two. She had slipped her knives out.

    He snorted. "For the census of course. Why are you h..." At that moment he saw a giant bear lumbering towards them with guards close behind. "That's a new one." Jürgen had spent much of his life hunting beasts and with all the strange beings running around he had to keep reminding himself that they were thinking beings. But he still itched to get his bow out. @Sorana. @Chasmfiend#1

    "You could've handled him." He was mostly sure of that. "I'm Jürgen." He said, bowing his head. He looked around at all the people and felt very out of place. The giant Long Bow strapped to his back didn't help. "Are you new to the city?"

    Jürgen stood in line. He stood in line forever. When he finally made it to the gate he went through the usual integration. "State your business. State your name." And so on. But then he was finally in the city! He was stunned. There were so many people! He was just about to set out to find an inn, when he noticed a woman being accosted by a dirty man. "Step back," he growled at the man as he marched up to the pair. @Sorana
