"Well..... That was exciting...." Sam stated, staring at the wreckage. "I wonder if we could get the gang to help clean the place up?"

Guys..... you are all amazing! I thought this was going to take months! Reading through the doc, We still need an explanation of Ritual magic (If you could do that @MacThorstenson. If you have the time of course.) You wrote up that awesome example but I couldn't find it again. We still need an explanation of Innate magic ( @ShadowLord_Lith if you have the time..... You're the one who made it make sense to me.) More info on Natural magic would be good ( @ZincAboutIt If you have the time. You have the best grasp on this topic.) An explanation on the crystals ( @xinoehp512 If you have the time.... You made the concept pop to me.) Setting....... We have a map with lots of info.... I expect lots of people want to help with the cultures. More legends/myths are always appreciated. ( @kenod If you have the time.... Could you spearhead this effort? I believe you were the one who told me you wrote twelve pages of fluff for another RP.... So it seemed like you enjoy it!) .@anyone not mentioned.... not forgotten! Any help with any of the above is much appreciated! P.S. Please don't take this as a command..... just a suggestion.... -

I like that you did that with him. Makes him a more interesting character imo. -

Cool! One more question. Why is he losing his memories? Is this because people no longer think of him as having a childhood so he's losing the memories of that time or is it something else? -

I like him a lot! Does he hate humans for his imprisonment or is he over that for the most part? I knew you would have a fun idea! When you say he's persuasive do you mean he's like Saurman from LotR? Able to sway people to his side whether they like it or not? -

I like it! We should make Kuria the focus nation of the RP. It's small, well placed, and I like the name! Edit: Goodnight! be back on tomorrow afternoon. -

Yeah, I copy/pasted the character sheet to a word document and then into my post...... All well...... I edited in his age right before you posted He's 32. I wanted to have my character be trying to learn ritual magic so that I can figure it out at the same time! He won't ever master it.... Doesn't have the head for it..... or the patience. I looked at the website and assumed I just wasn't figuring it out...... You guys are saints for working on that for the rest of us! -

That would be cool to be able to edit the map whenever we wanted! With Natural magic I think the land will be changing as time goes by...... I don't care too much, however, a large central continent would be nice. That would work as far as I'm aware! I got excited and made my character.... Not sure what's happening with the font..... What do you guys think? -

European....... We could have a more varied climate then Europe. I don't feel really strong emotions regarding this..... What do you want? -

Something I'm concerned about..... With how flexible Natural magic is it will be really easy for RPers to handwave all their problems away. I think this can be taken care of so long as we as a community are on the look out for it..... Also the problem of sudden expansion, when more people come, each with a dozen ideas for new animals/spirits/powers things can get crowded really fast. Yeah, I think that's too powerful. Maybe they can be of equaling strengths? -

I have no idea....... An European culture probably what we all know the most, but I'm open for anything. Maybe they could be secret societies. A part of the world, but in a quieter way. Edit: I also completely missed your map Zinc. It looks so cool! -

I guess if everyone who knew them thought they were dead..... They would die..... Scary..... Or maybe not. You would believe you're alive. As for coming back to life.... If your soul had already traveled to the Beyond, then you're dead. People can create a cognitive shadow, which can inhabit your body, but it wouldn't be you. I think? @ZincAboutIt your thoughts? -

Yay! We have the magic worked out for the most part. I'm sure there will be things we haven't thought of, but we can fix those as we RP. The setting is coming together nicely.( @ZincAboutIt you said you had a map?) I've been picturing something like Europe with a jumble of different sized kingdoms. Plots are being worked on. Now....... I assume we only want characters from this world being RPd. And no outside magic of any kind. Any objections? -

Steel Inquisitive replied to xinoehp512's topic in The Alleyverse
I was thinking it would be useful for character crafting. I wasn't thinking it would be in-world. As for plot development..... I would kind of like it if it grew mostly organically, but as this is a trial run you guys do what you want. I'm new to RPing so the thought of that much coordination is a little daunting, but so long as you guys don't mind me blundering along I don't care -

That would be great! I don't know where to start with those. I imagine hotspots would make using their abilities easier as the realms are even more closely tied in those places. As for the crystals..... I don't know. What do you guys want? (This is all assuming you guys are ok with the above..... I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to force what I want on everyone... I just like to organize things.... especially magic systems!) -

I was thinking we should have some sort of ranking system for the Natural magic. The magic is loose but it will help I think if we had some level of classification. How about: Renowned. This person is known for a skill and Natural magic is starting to enhance his/her abilities. (i.e. An archer who would hit the target 9/10 times is now believed to be incapable of missing so now never misses.) Legend. This person has gained a reputation for skills/abilities that are uncanny. (i.e. A bounty hunter who now can sense the general direction of his target.) Hero. This person is known for having magical abilities. (i.e. A physician who knows exactly what's wrong with a patient just by looking at them and can do some minor healing with magic.) Champion. This person is known for their powers. (i.e. a warrior who can kill with a touch, doesn't grow tired easily, and can take a lot of punishment.) Demi god. This person is known for being practically immortal along with their powers. (i.e. a famed ship captain who is immortal and can control the ocean to a degree.) Ascendant god. This person is worshiped as a god and has lost all physical form and can give powers to followers in certain cases. (i.e. a famed merchant has become known as the god of wealth, and some followers might be able to call on his power to allow them to know if a business venture is a good idea.) What do you guys think? I was trying to pick non-combat ones for greater variety..... some of those are a stretch. This is still loose as there would still be those in transition zones...... I don't know if we could classify objects/animals or if we need to..... -

That would be good..... I'd probably spend a lot of time asking how Ritual stuff works! Perhaps a group of students and teachers caught up in the defense of the kingdom from a rival nation?
