  1. I haven't made it yet, but as far as I can tell, it would be a spicy shellfish stew, with various shellfish and rice and veggies
  2. I feel ya, Ark. I'll just recommend reading some Uncle Iroh quotes- those always help.
  3. The Chinese editions are so cool! I love the whole 'stained glass' vibe they give off
  4. I wish you the best of luck. I'm also fairly certain your family doesn't actually hate you. They might be a bit confused, but family is family.
  5. Tis tomorrow evening. Thanks for your well wishes.
  6. Thanks you guys. I just got back from tonight's session, which went a heck of a lot better than last night. (Also learned that a good friend of mine waited to get her licence too.) Feeling much better now. (Now if I can just pass the test, I'll be well on my way)
  7. I think there is a different type of difficulty for each type of instrument- playing precussion is hard, in a different way than Clarinet is hard (which once you get into it- it kind of is. Altissimo register anyone?)
  8. James let the joy of watching LOTR wash over him, and he beamed. This Ben fellow seemed like a kindred spirit. You Promised you would ask her! The Nightwatcher pouted in his head. Well nobody knows where she is, I retorted mentally
  9. Ok, so this is gonna sound really strange- but I put off getting my driver's licence for a couple of years, so now I have to go through Range at my local school. It's been giving me so much anxiety- and not for the obivous reasons. I feel like the kids are internally judging me for being so old- I feel like I'm trying to order off of the Kid's Menu after I turned 12.
  10. Well, my suggestion was for anyone to do- I think Fire would be fine with more publicity for this thread. So go ahead and put it where you may
  11. I honestly love ways to give back to creators, so I definitely will be doing this. (As soon as I'm more financially stable)
  12. I relate to this on an emotional level.
  13. "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship" James said with a laugh.
  14. "Yep" James grinned, and he looked over at Ben, "Extended Editions?"
  15. James perked up instantly "Only like 7 times!" a smile brushing his face, "but I could use a re watch"
  16. "Sure" James said, "What movie?"
  17. At this point James walked into the kitchen. "You guys seen Sawyer around?" He asked the occupants, "I need to talk to her about something." he said with a blush.
  18. Well, I have now officially seen Avengers: Endgame (As of Thursday April 25th). Those of you Sharders who have also seen it- please don't spoil it for those who haven't, I'm begging you.

Those of you who have not seen Endgame- Go see it. If you like Marvel, it will be everything you ever want. (Also it's a heck of a lot less stressful to not have to avoid spoilers like the plague)

      HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD

      Spoiler

I absolutely loved the part where Cap picked up Thor’s hammer! That was probably the most satisfying/epic moment in all of the movies I have ever watched.

  19. Welcome! I too started on the tall end, with the Stormlight books, and then I read Mistborn because many of my friends had, and they reccomended it to me so strongly I couldn't say no (the number of people who read Mistborn around me is unreal- helps when the author is somewhat local I guess)
  20. What about the Stormlight Covers? I think those are the only UK editions that I patently dislike- they feel pretty misrepresentative of the series as a whole compared to Michael Whelan's sweeping epic covers.
  21. How big is this compared to a minifigure? This is really impressive, and as a full fledged Lego geek myself, you give me much joy and inspiration @beantheboy12
