  1. James walked into the kitchen "Storms that smells good!" he exclaimed "I love Italian food!" He sat down at the table and listened to the conversation that was going on.
  2. Is there a CW discussion topic here? cause if not, Imma get on that
  3. I could go on and on about how much I love Clone Wars TBH. It's my favorite piece of Star Wars. (likely due to it being the SW of my childhood, along with the masterful writing skill of Dave Filoni)
  4. Nice! (finally, a TLJ discussion that doesn't end with either vitriol or me saying "This is how we win, Finn" while breaking down in laughter with my friends) Also- I totally agree with you. The Last Jedi didn't always succeed, but at least it tried.
  5. Okay @AonEne Here's a challenging one that requires some background: I've read WOF books 1-7 + Darkstalker. Why should I keep reading them? (You have 1 paragraph to fit your best compelling argument)
  6. Don't want to turn this into a TLJ flame war, as I don't actually hate the movie, but I'm curious why y'all like it more than TFA.
  7. Depends on what you define 'better' as. I personally never had much of a problem with Nynaeve, as I kind of appreciate her not taking people's crap. (I'm a bit too polite to ever do that myself-but there are times when I wish I could). Book 7 is where the slog begins, but once again it all depends on what you like. (If I'm being honest, it's not as much of a slog, since there's no waiting for the next book) I personally only ever had trouble with book 10 for various reasons that become apparent when you read that book
  8. "You all go on ahead" James said, "I think I'll just watch." James sat down on the back porch, and started quietly humming to himself. Well that was embarrassing James thought. Once again, what you get for spying on people The Nightwatcher added, the sass in her voice unmistakeable. Spren couldn't be sassy, could they?
  9. My heart and condolences go out to the French people today. Notre Dame will be missed, and it breaks my heart to see such beauty and history go up in flames.

  10. I would change Willshaper to: Is never home to clean the floor anyway
  11. I'll take your whole stock!
  12. "I'm graduating this year" James said, "So maybe we'll see each other around?" he asked hopefully. James liked this fellow, and certainly felt like they could be friends.
  13. "Since my Junior year, so about a year now," James said, rather grateful that the subject had been changed, "I still don't know much of how my Surges work- which is partially why I came here."
  14. Honestly, this topic's title describes how I felt when I joined the Shard. So welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay (which we hope will be a good long time). Soup or Salad?
  15. "You're welcome." James beamed, holding out his hand. "I apologize if I ever seem awkward, I can be a little socially oblivious at times" he said with a grimace. Storming Father of Storms this is awkward James thought. This is what you get for spying on people The Nightwatcher said with a tisk.
  16. "Nah- It's fine" James said with a shrug, "As for your Bondsmith question, I've always liked seeing people grow, and become better than they are- that's what attracted The Nightwatcher to me." He continued, "I also bet she knew I'd need someone to train me, which is why I was led here"
  17. Very Cool- I see a movie level poster here.
  18. "I've actually already moved in" James said, "Also, I bought you movie tickets- don't you know how expensive those are? So please don't take that tone with me" He tried, but he couldn't keep the smile out of his voice. Technically, you could also perform their wedding. The Nightwatcher said in my mind. Yes, I agreed, But I don't know how much you know of humanity- they aren't nearly of legal age.
  19. I raised my hands in a gesture of surrender. "I'm James Freeman. The new Bondsmith?" Putting my hands down to brush myself off, I continued "I took an oath to unite instead of divide" I explained, "and it was obvious that you two have feelings for one another, so I figured I'd help it along." I concluded, a blush rising in my cheeks as I said it. "Though of course you two didn't appear to need much help. I did get you two some movie tickets though."
  20. James suddenly fell out from the bush he had been hiding in, shocked, amazed, and to top it off- a stupid grin on his face. "Called it!" he said.
  21. My thoughts precisely!
  22. Roses are red Water spills out a sieve I can't be the only one Who freakin' loves Nynaeve New Edit 5/11/19: Roses are Red, Cadsuane says "Phaw!" Rand is in love, with one Min Farshaw
  23. I think people also hate that he betrayed and hurt Kaladin. (Who many people would like to not get hurt). It becomes very easy to hate someone who hurt someone you love. I agree that you are quite entitled to equal respect. I hold a different opinion to yours. I hate Moash, because of the kind of person he is. But I am riveted by his character arc- downward spirals are horribly wonderful to watch
  24. @BookishOcelot, yes it is. (sorry, quotes aren't working on mobile)
