  1. I think that it's highly likely that they did, given that Dream Nohadon claims that his family took "the direct route" which seems to heavily imply the Oathgates
  2. From the sidelines, James looked on the proceedings surreptitiously. "I will unite instead of divide" he said to himself, "and I think these two are the perfect place to start"
  3. The hardest/most frustrating part of getting my own brother to read Mistborn was the fact that he'd already read and loved S.A. I was all like "If you enjoyed Stormlight, you're gonna love Mistborn too!" But he still refused to read it until September of 2018. now he loves it, just like I said he would.
  4. I shall join, for I am a leftie through and through. Also, Leftie Life Hack: Pens with quick drying ink. I haven't had an ink smudge in weeks!
  5. After a long time training with Doc, James collapsed on the coach with his book and began to read. "Ah Tom Bombadil, never change" he said, a smile on his face. It had been a long first day, and he was ready to relax
  6. "I'll admit that's quite impressive" James said, "but I've heard some crazy stuff about learning languages with a single touch." Then looking down, slightly embarrassed, he continued, "and there's the matter of just mastering the basics."
  7. Noticing the other Bondsmith, James walked over to him. "So, I bet there's a thing or two I could learn about the Bondsmith surges from you."
  8. For the first time since coming down, James made note of Shana and Ben. He observed them for a moment, and grinned so slightly that it might not be visible for anyone else but him. I ship it, he thought
  9. "It was a joke", I respond somewhat bemused, "besides, variety is the spice of life, and I don't see why dessert should be excluded" Turning towards the weapons rack, James slightly shudders. "I should have mentioned, I'm a pacifist" turning around resolutely to face his colleagues, "but there are other ways to defeat an enemy"
  10. "How about pie?" James asked, jokingly, as he followed Flid down the stairs
  11. I return from Doc's office, with a bit of melancholy- he seemed to have his hands full taking care of a house full of Radiants- not much time to train me in the Bondsmith surges. "Did somebody mention sparring?" I ask.
  12. "Not the Sibling", I say, "The Nightwatcher"
  13. Everything is Connected in the Spiritual Realm 'Ene
  14. "Hello Doc." I say, shuffling my feet in nerves. "I'm James Freeman, and I happen to be a Bondsmith"
  15. "Indeed" I say, "Best not to keep him waiting"
  16. "Who knows?" I shrug, "maybe the Godspren have a thing for people named James?"
  17. "Hi, I'm James" I say with a wave, "I'm a Bondsmith extraordinaire" I add with a smirk.
  18. I proceeded to laugh as well, "perhaps you'll get to try it out sooner, rather than later, as it's your uncle that I hope to speak to"
  19. "Nice to meet you, Cassie" James said, as he walked in and extended a hand to her. "I don't suppose you ever call your uncle James Bond, would you?" he said with a slight grin
  20. "Hello" James said, "I'm James Freeman, Bondsmith." He adjusted his glasses slightly, and ran his hand through his hair. "And I think I'm supposed to be here"
  21. James walked towards the house, first checking the address scrawled on a scrap of paper in his pocket to insure this was the place. Shifting his well-worn volume of The Lord of The Rings to his other hand, he knocked on the door. "I hope this goes well" he muttered to himself, "I really hope it does"
  22. Here's my character, @AonEne (I don't really know how this all works) Character Name: James Freeman Order: Bondsmith Spren: The Nightwatcher Age: 18 Hair color: Red Eye Color: Blue Description: James is 18 years old, with flame-red hair which curls to his neck, and light blue eyes, and glasses. He is slight of build, and a medium height. As a newly fledged Radiant of the 2nd Ideal, he is still somewhat unsure of his new role in the world. A shy and at times aloof outward appearance belies a sympathetic, geeky, and joking interior that shows around those he’s close to. A true introvert, he is generally uncomfortable with crowds, but give him a small group, and he’s almost a new person. He dislikes conflict, so has taken a role as a mediator: his insistence on looking at things from both sides has led to quite a bit of indecision on his part, and an inability to declare one side right. He is uncomfortable with leadership roles, and can be often found bemoaning his role as a Bondsmith, an order focused on leadership. On the plus side, however, his habit of carrying on extended conversations with himself can now be attributed to his spren, which the Nightwatcher does not appreciate.
  23. I would love to join!
