Investiture for a Better Life Foundation

"Throw a tantrum?" Max said, flinging a table at Hellbent. "Do I look like I'm having a tantrum!?" He punched the wall again, and then again and again, flaring his strength Aons. He pounded the wall, until it had a permanent hole in it. Althea. Dead. Why would he lie? Punching the wall again and again, slowing down till h slides down to sit in front of it, weeping. Dead. Was this how it felt to be Rioted, to have all of his emotions enflamed? He felt sick, his head spun, and he wept, banging the wall softly. Solace said he could get revenge. Revenge? The last he'd saw of Althea was Solace putting her to sleep. Revenge. For Althea. Someone he'd actually loved. Like Mara, gone. Looking to Solace, he growled, and charged at him, using all of his strength and speed Aons at once to attempt a single punch. "You killed her!" He yelled, is vision blurry from the tears- 273 replies

Investiture for a Better Life Foundation

She is gone. Max paused. “You’re lying,” he said, more a plea than a statement. Althea. Gone. He shook his head and unleashed his anger on a table behind him, hacking it into slices. Taking a chair that came with it, he flung it into the wall, splintering it into many pieces. “You’re lying!” He yelled, feeling like curling up and lashing out. Tapping his nicrosil-minds, Max Rioted Solace’s sense of integrity, his sense of honesty. “Tell me your lying,” He whispered.- 273 replies

The first thing Max felt was metal. It was the metal of the office floor. It was cool and hard but still comfortable. Max yawned, not wanting to get up. He was tired. You’ve got a mission. Solace, Althea, don’t leave them. Blinking, and then suddenly getting up in one go, leaning against the wall, Max saw he was in a different room than before. An empty room. With Solace in it. “Where is Althea?” He demanded. Stomping angrily forward, he summoned Sethramir, the glittering white sword glowing in the dim light. “And where am I?”- 273 replies

Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
I think I am here. replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
See ya. Something I just thought of that may or may not be viable to work, but what if the Seeker found someone, and told them their results. But even after something interesting, they continued telling, so that at the end the Relayer could be like “Results from the past 5 cycles say X is good, Y is bad, Z is good, A is good, B is bad.” Wait, just realised this wouldn’t work because of the conversion. Meaning at any point scans from a certain cycle might not be trustable. I’ve got another idea that may or may not be too complex for my own good. What if the Seeker told someone to Relay their results, and that Relayer PM’d somebody else (pretending to be the Seeker themselves) and telling them the results. That way, the Seer wouldn’t know who the real Seeker would be unless they converted the original Relayer, which would be impossible to identify unless you found the second Relayer, which would be impossible until you found the third, and so forth. This way, nobody knows who the Seeker is (even the original Relayer might not be sure if the Seeker is real or another Relayer passing the message) and everybody gets the scan result. The only problem I can see is if the Seer or a convert elim gets caught in the cycle and does a ‘Chinese Whispers-style’ move of changing the scan results, but just like in Chinese Whispers, we should be able to narrow down the chain to the Seer. How does it sound? -

With the Spiking, something similar happened with Alask, because he was also a Hemalurgic experiment where he was basically a normal guy until they kidnapped and Spiked him. My reason for why he can’t get it removed is pretty much because that would Shed blood, so even if you got the spikes out, you’d then have to deal with an enraged Shade which would probably kill him along anyone else present. So he’s pretty scared of that, which is why he feels he can’t remove it.

Alvron could actually be a good pick for a convert, given he can apparently be very hard to read according to some people. Something I just want to say as a reminder to our Seeker (or Seekers, but I don’t know if there would be two), that with your results make sure to find someone you trust who you can PM them to, so that you don’t have to outst yourself to find an elim. But if the elims target the Relayer you PM’d then they can find out the Seeker. So either way it’s a bit of a pickle. Lurchers, I would say to just protect people you find worth protecting. I don’t really know any other tips. Coinshots have a kill, which is useful, but also bad. It’s worth mentioning Coinshots are 2 Atium beads to bribe, so perhaps we could bait the elims inro targeting Coinshots to expend Atium? No, because either way it would be another kill, which would be terrible. Rioters and Soothers have the potential to influence lynches, so I’m assuming they would be a pretty big target for elims, since the lynch is the only thing that can kill them other than the Coinshot. Copperclouds, Thugs And Tineyes: I don’t really know what else to put. A coppercloud would be useful to convert, but I’m not sure how the elims would know someone’s a coppercloud. I don’t know how they would know if someone was a Thug either, unless the Thug survives a kill, in which their power has been expended anyway. I’ll need to recheck the rules, but can’t Tineyes send anonymous messages to the thread? If so, a Tineye and a Seeker pair would be really helpful, as you could have a Relayer and a source for scans. Though you’d have to be careful the Tineye wasn’t making things up. I was going to do some RP, but this post is long enough and I’m tired But later, I promise. -
It may be because Omin is supernaturally similar to my real-life name, or because of the fact that he fixed Max's armour, or for the fact his name is based off the Aon for love, which is probably the coolest looking Aon in the whole bunch. He's a package deal, please don't kill him. :-(

Alask felt the plane shake as it took off, taking a deep breath. After a bit of flying, he spotted a large shape in the sky. “The Alleyzon plane!” He said, pointing to it. “Now we’ve just got to intercept it.”

Omin should be the leader. I mean, not only his name probably the best I’ve ever seen, but he’s also a storming legend.

Hello everyone! Rath makes a good point that if we got a lucky lynch and the elim survived it would look like a thug or Lurcher protect, which could narrow down our options. But I don’t know if we want to lynch a random person to we’ll need to some heavy player analysis this round of we want to get the elims straight off. I think I’ve only played one conversion game before, and that was the Elantris one. I don’t remember any strategies though, anyone want to pipe in on that? -

I would like to bring up my totally valid reason for this. If everybody loves each other, nobody loves each other = If everybody hates each other, nobody hates each other = Just thought I’d let you know why Odium deserves to rule.

Alask looked to Lena. She hadn’t said anything about the Shade, which was good, he guessed. “I mean, we’re thieves, right?” He said. “So by nature we break the rules.” He paused, and buckled up. “I still don’t want to die though.” Alask waited patiently. Now, only that Georgia lady was left. @Kidpen
