Sure, if your idea of 'fun' is spiking mice to the point of them being in the verge of death so so you can have a small allomantic mouse slave. (which it kinda is, tbh) -

Oh, but a full out war would be exciting! Am I the only one who actually wants these two organisations in a war? Combines with their allies and this could be almost equivalent to a World War on this forum. Something I want to see. So yeah, it might be escalating, but DA, maybe instead of attacking politically (which is not really working) attack PHYSICALLY. It's been a while since we've actually seen the DA do any attacking, and you wouldn't want us to think you're going weak, would you? -

Hi everyone, Jared from the OAASS (Official Assassination Assessment Specialization Society). I came to the Ghostbloods to assess their assassination skills and to give them an official OAASS rank out of 50. 1. Assassination was a success: 2. Sneakiness: 8 (pretty sneaky) 3. Planning: 8 (No contingencies, but still a solid plan) 4. Difficulty: 9 (They assassinated the target easily) 5. Flair: 10 (Ok, the method here was pure genius) 6. Time: 9 (Quick) A total of 44/50. Very nice. Would use again. Now, time to assess the Assassins in Technicolors.

HGC: Adventures wanted, Heroes needed

Hey, this looks really cool! Full name: Apheo Makon Investiture: A-Chromium/F-Duralumin Twinborn, and a spike gives him Feruchemical Chromium, allowing for compounding. He's extremely protective of the spike. Nationality of the cosmere: Northern Scadrian Height: 5'6" Age: 14 Hair color: Black Eye color: Brown Heroic history: Well, he stole the spike, so there's that, but he also has a habit of helping people in extremely dire circumstances, using his luck to aid them. Personality: He's mute and deaf, so as you can imagine, he's not the most extroverted kind of guy. he can lip read, however, if the person he's lipreading talks slowly. He likes to joke about his condition, and 'talks' using pencil and paper. What brought your character here? Compounded some luck and ended up overhearing someone travelling to the tower to save the world. he thought he would join -
Name: Alter Main Power: Can adjust the temperature of anything within a 5m radius. Anything. It takes a lot of effort, however to change things that resist. Say, it would take more effort to try and melt metal than it would ice. This power includes humans and machines too. Can also set up a sort of permanent field of coolness or heat, so anything within it freezes or melts. Weakness: Getting dizzy. Evil Manifestation: Likes killing random people, experimenting with powers in homicidal ways.

Oh, I see. Thanks!

So we know Investiture does not work around aluminium. But what happens to that Investiture. It completely empties metal reserves, but what happens to those reserves? We can see the Investiture is not destroyed. So what happens to it? Where does it go to? Does Aluminium have a storing property?

Journey before Destination

I would say I'm pretty new to the cosmere, but I immediately fell in love with Brandon's writing as soon as I read the book that introduced me too him: Steelheart.. Since then, I've read The Reckoners Trilogy, The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, The RIthmatist, Legion novella's and The Final Empire. I'm currently reading The Well of Ascension and Warbreaker, but the Stormlight novels remain my favourite. -

Hmm, your right, and since it is a really powerful ability, maybe the one I'm talking about can only be a thing for compounders. I'm imagining a someone trying to lash a compounder upwards, but the compounder absorbs it and channels the Investiture as breath, strangling the person with their clothes. It does seem cooler the more I think about it.

Look, I'm not completely certain, but if a Nicrosil Ferring stores Investiture, then wouldn't actively storing it cause the Ferring to become a sort of 'living aluminium'? As in they wouldn't be affected by any form of Investiture because they would be storing it? So, say if someone was trying to use emotional allomancy on a Nicrosil Ferring, it wouldn't have any effect, and the Ferring would store some Investiture. And again, if someone was trying to use any form of investiture on the Ferring, it wouldn't work and instead would be stored in the Nicrosilmind. In this way, when the Ferring would call on their Investiture, they could manifest it in any form (Breath, Stormlight etc.) Brandon has said Aluminium doesn't project an Atium shadow, and so, following the same principle, this Investiture-sucking person would probably make for an awesome assassin, storing any attempts at Investiture against them and manifesting that in different ways as weapons. In that case, I wonder what possibilities would open up for a compounder. I don't know, what do you guys think?
