  1. Zerameth laughed, pitch shifting with every staccato, forcibly spit syllable. "Of course you haven't! No one has! I haven't seen me!" He tottered back to his seat in the corner like a man trying to walk unadjusted on the deck of a ship amid a storm and collapsed into it heavily, putting his head into his hands.
  2. Zerameth's head whirled. A bug? That they were fighting? Where did it go? Why did it feel so...familiarly wrong? It made his missing memories ache even more than the copper medallion did. That...thing was still there, watching him in an eyeless gaze, lurking at the corners of his vision. Store a memory. Store a memory. How? What memory did he have to store? What if he couldn't get it back? He felt stretched, pulled, too many directions at once. It was a tiring sensation. He stumbled forward, grabbing the newcomer by the shoulder, manners tossed away, heedless of an interruption. "Do you know me?" he asked, eyes darting around, looking for that bug...thing...that had so disconcerted him. "Have you seen it?"
  3. That's a rabbit hole and a half. My favorite idea is that maybe the castle is a large Guardian that's now possessed by the physical embodiment of Ganon as opposed to the malice-born creations like the Blights, which would explain why it moved in the first trailer. Imagine fighting that thing.
  4. I can't wait for BotW 2.
  5. Woohoo! New character! Needs to be scored, and as she's an Epic, I'll probably need to to do this: @Voidus
  6. No time like the present!
  7. Yes you did! Right at the end, he swears the Second Oath.
  8. How dare you make me choose between Hrathen and Vin.
  9. This one is absolutely the most clear-cut. Bridge Four, the eternal intimidating uncle-group, ready to beat up on anyone who distrusts Renarin.
  10. As Kenod sits and greetings are exchanged, the entrances to the feast chamber seal shut and a speaker rises from the center of the table. A Gamemaker's voice emanates from it. "Welcome to the feast! You are the final two tributes, or at least you will be as soon as our, how shall we say, absent friend is dealt with, which should be-" A single cannon shot echoes in the distance, cutting off the voice -"which has just happened. Anyway, congratulations on making it this far! This feast's truce will last for approximately half an hour, at which point you are free to do what you do best! Enjoy your food, and don't forget to check under your seats for a very special prize. May the odds be ever in your favor, and I look forward to seeing where things go from here." The speaker retracts and the table in front of you both slides open to reveal an obscene amount of food. @kenod @Blessing of Potency
  11. No big deal my friend, the Shard is a large place.
  12. There's a few threads on this you may want to peruse: And most especially
  13. Or a Hemalurgy-enhanced cat.
  14. That's part of why I want it to be animation. That mindset can't change without examples to lead the change, and Mistborn could be the starting point for that.
  15. Here's the WOB for that info, if you wanted a backup.
  16. Why not 10? Was 5 Oaths multiplied by 2 Surges enough to satisfy the 10-theme? What happened there?
  17. That's kind of what I'm hoping for with the unique bond thing. My small idea was that Adolin's dedication and revival of Maya would center her Connection to him instead of to the Rosharan system, allowing her to follow him off-world where other spren can't.
  18. You are being very unnecessarily hostile. I just wanted to offer a bit of reassurance, since you seemed very critical of those portions of TFE. Guess I know better than to try that with you again. Or anything else. Not that that's much of a loss on your end, huh?
  19. Therapy and support animals would be the ideal primary use of many Pokemon, but also Lucario is psychic enough to be able to communicate with humans mind-to-mind for the best possible translation assistant.
  20. I was just noting it doesn't stay that way.
  21. I'm going to be as vague as possible here, but still spoiler it just in case. Not much of a spoiler, honestly, just a small tidbit.
  22. It's a different kind of difficult to get to. Not sure anyone other than Windrunners could reliably stay in a highstorm long enough to recharge themselves instead of just spheres, and the storms are on a calculable timeframe (not to mention that the spheres represent a finite resource that can be stolen, since they can't be Soulcast). If you can separate the spheres from the Radiant and/or the Radiant from the Honor Bondsmith, you pump them full of high-caliber lead until they run out of Light to heal and then hit them until they're down again. Guerrilla warfare in the age of guns is the ideal anti-Radiant strategy. Unfortunately, we need to cut this short because it's off topic. You're welcome to PM me and we can keep talking about this!
  23. They can regenerate if you give them the chance, but it's still an advantage as to Stormlight draining. Significant wounds take significant Light to repair, and their supply isn't infinite.
