  1. My personal theory on that is that the Set has access to a gold mine they can slip stuff out the back of, and we know they're not afraid of kidnapping beggars and otherwise impoverished people that no one will miss. They're probably just engineering stuff to catch the Feruchemists that fall through the cracks.
  2. They probably like Wayne for his Bloodmaking. They're trying to condense their bloodlines back to having a Full Feruchemist (one of the kandra mentioned it in BoM. VenDell, I think.) and F-gold is probably a good place to start with that.
  3. TLR had children, apparently, so he probably would have thought it somewhat hypocritical to forbid his servants from doing so. Wonder if the Inquisitor-kids had a higher iron count native in their blood
  4. As soon as the statue is fully uncovered, the deadspot's growth advances, now moving almost twice as fast as it was before. Everyone in the vicinity feels a draining feeling, almost like they've sat on their own hands for too long, but all over their respective bodies. @Rushu42 @mathiau
  5. Make sure you check your spam. Mine got sent there a couple times before I figured it out and made a filter for it.
  6. The statue is the same brown terracotta all over, save the eyes, which are a bright blue, but the detail is incredible. It's clearly human, and clearly female at that, with a wiry build and fairly tall, standing a few inches above average.
  7. In a way, Bombadil was indeed a worldhopper. He's just Tolkien. Quite literally a self-insert of Tolkien, hence his line about being older than the first acorn or something like that.
  8. He has some power related to the fundamentals of Feruchemy that helps him with his aging thing.
  9. They were called the Chasseurs Ardennais, and it's noted on their Wikipedia page. If you're a fan of metal music, the historical-metal band Sabaton made a song about them called Resist and Bite which honestly slaps.
  10. It doesn't go away entirely, it just becomes very small. Hence compression.(I bolded part of the WOB in the spoiler)
  11. Unclear.
  12. The spike has been described as a staple for his Cognitive Shadow self, but it's unclear why the bindpoint to do that is in the eye or how he got that particular body.
  13. Might be, but it also might stretch into Era 3.
  14. Space compresses in the CR where there's no people, so not as long as you think it would.
  15. I kind of like the idea of a bunch of stubborn humans with absolutely no alterations standing up against a much larger and more powerful force, honestly. Maybe it's because I really want to see a Stoneward.
  16. It wouldn't take a Pewterarm to do something like that. It happened in real life, too, with a group of 40 Belgians stalling a solid chunk of the German army (including tanks) at their border for long enough (18 days) to make them think it was more than 40 people.
  17. It would probably be very bad to cause a spren genocide by locking all of their members into fabrials, since I don't think spren can shape "raw" Investiture into spren types that aren't them (except maybe godspren).
  18. Which brings me back to the point of it all depending on a lot of other things going right. It can, but there's so many things in motion there that it would be hard to predict.
  19. Throw enough recessive genes into the pool, eventually something will come about.
  20. The higher spren, I'd argue it would be inhumane to keep them trapped. But the lesser spren don't need things in the same way dogs/cats do, being chunks of pure Investiture, so I'm not sure this question applies to them, honestly. They get to do what they do, they're not in pain, and they're not stuck trying to travel to find what they're attracted to.
  21. I think the circumstances could arise in which a recessive sDNA Allomantic trait could reappear down the line, but it depends on a lot of things, including the other half of the genetic pair.
  22. I'd be down for that honestly.
  23. 4th dimensional space! 4th dimensional space! 4th dimensional space!
