  1. Yeah that's fair. It's mentioned a couple of times how gentle the storms in the west are. From the wiki: "Highstorms are the fiercest in the stormlands of the east, but gradually subside as they progress westward toward more timid lands. Purelakers, located in the center of the continent, experience weakened storms; Shinovar in the west is spared completely due to the added protection of the Misted Mountains." That's the theory.
  2. Oh hey I do this in my spare time! Pretty sure this one is a Japanese dude reviewing tea? I don't speak the language haha.
  3. Technically so does the highstorm. By the time it reaches Shinovar, it's noted as being about as weak as it can be.
  4. The proper ratio of conjoined fabrials to extract maximum power and synergy with all things with minimal power use, probably. What's your favorite music genre? I dare you, too, to go hug a tree. (I'll leave Xino's thing to someone else so I'm not monopolizing the recent requests) Also, I would like to request a dare of my own.
  5. Have one of both, or take your pick: Truth - What's your favorite candy? Dare - I dare you to go hug a tree (yes, literally). I'll take a truth!
  6. Odium knows it's possible, and I'm fairly certain what they were looking for was a spanreed more than anything. Odium doesn't seem like the kind of being to trust Venli very much after she'd been pulled into Dalinar's vision, not to mention that Nightform was part of his voidform stuff anyway and likely derives from his own futuresight so he probably knows about that prophecy anyway.
  7. We know they had a form for that, we know that at the time of writing that they were still trying to figure it out (or they likely wouldn't still be talking about it like that), and we know that the above bit about Nightform shows that their new path would come in the future. Stands to reason that was part of the Nightform prophecy.
  8. Yes it is, and illustrates the point even better, honestly. Radiancy was a human thing, and potentially even the Horneaters and Herdazians would have been less likely to form a bond due to parsh blood (but that's a little crackpot, honestly). That was a prophecy, not a current event.
  9. As far as anyone is aware, she is. The Dawnchant has several references to the depth of human bonds granting them their Radiant abilities. I think one is something like "Broth are we but their meat is men," and while some of the forms of power have their abilities, Radiancy is not a thing that seemed to have been possible for the parsh in the days of old.
  10. As far as I know, yes. But I want to stress, this is literally unprecedented, so I don't know fully. Well that's the funny thing. Venli is the first parsh to ever be able to bond a Radiant-spren in such a way as to gain their powers. No idea what changed (but probably Honor's death) or why that changed this, but it did!
  11. The alternatives were one of the Fused finding Timbre's hiding spot or Timbre shoving Venli out of her form and immediately revealing to them that something is horribly wrong, either of which would have lead to Venli's immediate execution.
  12. Venli's spren was a lightspren (or Reacher), which is the spren of the Willshapers. Truthwatcherspren look like light that's been reflected off a mirror, where Timbre is closer to a comet made of light. As to how Timbre keeps a voidspren captive...my guess is some form of suppression is happening within Venli's gemheart where Timbre functionally surrounds the Voidspren and only the barest bit of Connection to Venli remains, likely just enough to keep her in her Voidform.
  13. What would you do if you found something better than Waffles to eat? I'll take a truth too.
  14. Done. Pretty horribly, since I suck at singing in general and opera is on a whole other level. I dare you to do a handstand.
  15. Back to this: someone give me a dare!
  16. Your experiences are not universal. When I get too powerful in a game I just try to see how many things I can get to attack me at once and how long it takes for them to kill me.
  17. My favorite single is a tie between Eon and Iad, but my favorite combo of Aons would have to be Aan and Nae together.
  18. 91.8 Truthwatcher, which is about what I expected. That's my favorite order, so I have no issue with that.
  19. Zerameth chuckled darkly. "Maybe. Just maybe." "I'd appreciate that. Don't know where else to go."
  20. This'll come as the character develops. Couldn't think of anything good right off the bat. Thanks for the score!
  21. I play a fair amount of Minecraft, and have since it was released.
  22. Zerameth looked, saw his haggardly look, his unwashed, stringy hair drooping in front of his eyes, and breathed in sharply. Was that really what he looked like? He hadn't looked like that since...since...the memory slipped away alongside the faint glow he hadn't noticed he picked up. He knocked the mirror away. "This is not a game." "T-thank you," Zerameth stammered. "I know I don't deserve that kindness, but thank you."
  23. Zerameth didn't bother raising his head from his hands. "Myself. I'm looking for myself."
