  1. Did I really skip an introduction? Now I feel bad. "Khash. And I have to say, your library here is simply wonderful."
  2. Khash managed to work his way to the library and quickly got lost in the exploration of new books.
  3. The Dragon's Fist is probably my favorite (also known as a meteor hammer but that just doesn't sound as cool), especially when flaming.
  4. I shouldn't. But it would be hilarious. Bad idea hilarious, but hilarious. Khash, never the most patient of men when standing still, decided he was going to explore the area instead of waiting idly for the matron to come back.
  5. "I'd heard that was something one of yours had done to him at some point. Figured I'd find out if that was standard practice." He wouldn't let his face show it, but he was very relieved to hear that he wouldn't have do that. It sounded unpleasant at best and downright suicidal at worst.
  6. "Ah yes, highstorms. I've almost forgotten what a strong storm feels like," Khash said, following the introduction lady inside. "Strange for an Alethi, I know, but I've spent so long in the City of Shadows that it's become unfamiliar." He hesitated for a second. "We aren't...going to be chained to a roof through it, are we?"
  7. My friend, I have just the WOB for you.
  8. "Radiant?" Khash ran his hand over his waxed scalp. If he was already getting mistaken for a Radiant, that had to be a good sign. "Not quite, my good woman, but a squire, certainly. I was told to come here but wasn't given much information as to why. Would you mind filling in those gaps for me?"
  9. Rithmatic gladiator fights.
  10. Could always write it in the Public Message section of your profile.
  11. Are you a doughnut? Because you're all curves and sugar. That's the only one I know because it's so far had a 100% success rate so I haven't bothered to learn another.
  12. It may just be because two-part names like that sound really cool.
  13. I contest this. The only bad part about writing is the block times, where you're not actually able to write. Other than that, being able to revel in spinning a story from your fingers is the most relaxing and enjoyable thing ever. Runner's high doesn't hold a candle to writer's high. Being able to weave a world from bits of ideas floating around my head, but torturing characters is a close second. Something in between. The rules are hard, but there's no solid way to tell other than character experience what the limits of those rules are. Fantasy is hands down my favorite. Hooray for messing around with entirely new worlds! Gotta turn all those back on you, though! What's your answers to your own questions?
  14. Oh don't worry, that doesn't go away even after you become a legal adult!
  15. That's fair. Just wanted to know.
  16. It may not be listening to you, but your body is adapting to stimulus. The Sleepless have a leg up on us because they can control theirs to a larger degree than we can, but it's a parallel thing. Is a dog not made of cells? Out of curiosity, why are you so insistent that the Sleepless don't count as having bodies?
  17. Are you any less of an actual body because you're made of cells, bacteria, and mitochondria? No, you think of yourself as one cohesive being. The Sleepless would (even according to a WOB) " argue that all your cells are independent of you." You have a body made of multitudes. A Sleepless has a body made of multitudes. Sure, the hordelings are a fair bit larger and more versatile than our own cells are, even to the point that Sleepless can, will, and have bred certain functions into their makeup, but it doesn't make the hordelings anything less than a body. You are thinking only in terms of human bodies, and that is a mistake.
  18. Debatable. I'm pretty sure he has too many bodies.
  19. Yeah that one jerks your heartstrings.
  20. Pro-tip to make a good post (in one easy step!): Enjoy the making of the post
