That depends entirely on how much Investiture the parasites that give Investiture give. Theoretically, if enough Investiture were to be added, it might be considered a new being, with a new origin. Alternatively, origin could just refer to the place it hatched.

YES! ANOTHER SIBLING THEORY! These are my favorite. Yes, it is highly probably that is related to another Shard in some way, shape, or form, and probably Odium, but really, we don't know; it might be a mix of Honor and Cultivation. This ^ seems to suggest the third Bondsmith would be some form of Odium connection, but there's nothing hard and fast as far as I'm aware. We will find out soon, though:

Probably a minor vacation, plus The Lost Metal, Skyward's sequel (I think it's going to be called Starfall) if he's not done with that yet, maybe even the Threnody novel that's been teased over and over.

I thought there was something about Endowment upping the amount of Returned for some reason (something happened elsewhere in the cosmere* or some such and Endowment got nervous), but I can't find it now, so that suggests they are supposed to be some sort of defense against things from another world, much like the Heralds and the Oathpact. *The last time I saw something about that, it was theorized that the event that made Endowment nervous was Harmony's Ascension.

Nightblood is not described as having a gem in Warbreaker, though that could have been changed by Vasher pre-Stormlight. It's also supposed to be entirely black, hilt and blade, and with a silvery (aluminum) sheath. So that's not exactly accurate, though it's funny all the same.

Probably for one thing made himself able to chain his immortality for longer, since eventually the atium compounding would have stopped being enough to maintain his age trick, whether that would be via making his Allomancy even more powerful or just rebuilding himself again to be immortal without the atium compounding (if that's possible). As to the rest of Scadrial, probably manifest more Lerasium so that he can mitigate the dilution of Allomancy from the nobles and redo the Feruchemist ---> Mistwraith thing (just to make sure). Pretty sure he would mostly be too far under Preservation's influence to do much else, unless he was having a really bad day of Ruin whispering to him.

I think at that point it would take Nightblood or the majority of a Shard to beat you. Side note, since you probably couldn't do that to a Shardblade, what if you took one of the guards and inscribe it with an Aon for enhancement, targeting the Blade. What happens?
