Spike size, according to Marsh/Ruin, does not matter as far as the holding-size goes. Size simply determines how long it can stay outside the body before losing its power. So yes, you could theoretically use a syringe, though you'd have to be fast.

I use this movie as a classic case of creating something mediocre, slapping on a name related to something totally outside the story, and then magically getting success from it. All it requires is a name and a few lame references to the other movie(s), and you have instant win.

I just think that former personality would matter a little. If Hoid liked him, I'd assume Ati knew him and maybe was frineds with him too. So it makes me wonder why he doesn't seem to like Hoid much. Maybe he tried to contact him earlier already. Meh.

I would like to announce that my family is going on a cruise! I would also like to announce that I'm not going, since part of why they took it was to get away from me And I would announce that I honestly would be bored to death on a cruise and don't mind at all.

This is exactly what I was talking about a few posts back. We have to limit what can be said in some way, so people can't just mention one of the first inventions, and then say that no other invention could have been made without it. There needs to be a limit on how far down the line we look as far as "It lead to this which lead to this which lead to this" is concerned.
