  1. Wow. Nice.
  2. Welcome to the 17th Shard, we'll spike greet you at the door. Portal 2 and Frozen Synapse, games for the mind. I highly recommend both.
  3. I like it. Very good Starcraft comparisons. I hate hearing about vespene too...
  4. Either he waited for a while after snapping, or after they beat Mare to death he flipped out and used iron or steel or maybe even just the element of surprise to kill one, and then gained a bead with each kill. Then again, you'd think it would take him a bit to realize he was a Mistborn. He probably waited a while.
  5. Don't be rediculous. The rutabaga is clearly superior.
  6. 4chan 0_0 *Shiver* Yeah, on any other forum I would have laughed at any statement trusting people to act like adults, but somehow this forum has managed to stay mostly friendly.
  7. Probably better to start with the Hobbit and have a little background knowledge on how things got to be as they are, but you don't really have to.
  8. Spike size, according to Marsh/Ruin, does not matter as far as the holding-size goes. Size simply determines how long it can stay outside the body before losing its power. So yes, you could theoretically use a syringe, though you'd have to be fast.
  9. I use this movie as a classic case of creating something mediocre, slapping on a name related to something totally outside the story, and then magically getting success from it. All it requires is a name and a few lame references to the other movie(s), and you have instant win.
  10. Well, totally ignoring the amazing amount of crap it allowed to happen, the invention of ways to hold and transport water was still a pretty huge one.
  11. I am so going to downvote him for that... Then I saw you echoing my thoughts, and then you ended with that. Naaah.
  12. I would like to announce my shock.
  13. I'm picturing somebody giving Gasper powers to an alien that breathes CO2. Would it work differently thank to the alien's cognitive aspect, or would it basically be derpiving itself and giving itself something useless? Same applies to other abilities. EDIT: Spelling. Again
  14. Don't forget UtopiaGreen. As annoying as he was if taken trollishly, he was still really funny. Especially if you decided he really was that dumb.
  15. I just think that former personality would matter a little. If Hoid liked him, I'd assume Ati knew him and maybe was frineds with him too. So it makes me wonder why he doesn't seem to like Hoid much. Maybe he tried to contact him earlier already. Meh.
  16. Even more fitting...
  17. Did you add a caption?
  18. You'd basically win any physical competition you competed in with all that oxygen in your blood. Heck, you'd think better too, with the excess air getting to your head. Heh-heh, rude names for ferrings. Airheads...
  19. I always thought it was an electrum reference. That metal is in serious need of exploration...
  20. Strange, the Letter states that Hoid respected Ati as a kind and generous man. While that make sit obvious how he knew Scadrial's shards, it makes you wander why Ruin wouldn't want to get in touch. What has he been up to lately?
  21. Capture the flag with awakened flags...
  22. I would like to announce that my family is going on a cruise! I would also like to announce that I'm not going, since part of why they took it was to get away from me And I would announce that I honestly would be bored to death on a cruise and don't mind at all.
  23. This is exactly what I was talking about a few posts back. We have to limit what can be said in some way, so people can't just mention one of the first inventions, and then say that no other invention could have been made without it. There needs to be a limit on how far down the line we look as far as "It lead to this which lead to this which lead to this" is concerned.
  24. The ending to WoA, when Sazed compares papers, was my favorite moment, though it also qualifies as an Oh Crap. Doubles as my Favorite ending.
  25. Much more useful indeed. Still a waste of a Twinborn though. Wonder what else Aluminum could do. If we come up with a use He hasn't thought of yet, it may get a place in the books. Strongest identity possible makes messing with you cognitively a challenge. So, no forgry, no rioting, and no soothing. May also do interesting things with breaths. TBH, identity sounds like pre-WoA weight. It tends to be more useful for storing than for tapping.
