  1. Nekorb nodded slightly. "I have Investiture resistance... does that count for whatever you need?"
  2. Nekorb blanked for a minute, then remembered. "Uh, yeah. You were asking for people with unique Investiture?"
  3. Narrator Pheonix nodded and went back to watching the door, wondering why Star had come here in the first place.
  4. The most intricate sold for over $2,000,000 sometimes.
  5. Narrator Pheonix suddenly noticed Star. His face brightened, and he waved.
  6. The sound of a bell rang through the restaurant as Narrator Pheonix walked through the door, whistling a merry tune. He looked over the establishment appraisingly. Much of the decoration seemed to have been left unwritten- or maybe he was just missing something. Oh well. It didn't really matter. That's not what he was here for, anyways. He walked over to one of the tables and sat down, watching the door carefully for the person he was supposed to meet.
  7. The broams were diamond, but they had really, really cool art on them.
  8. Nekorb followed the pair down a hallway, around a corner, and through a set of double doors. As he turned the final corner, he saw them disappear through a door. He walked up to it- and then stopped. The women's bathroom? What were they doing in there. He paused for a moment to think, and heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, facing the approaching stranger.
  9. Is there a book recommendation list for Sanderfans anywhere?
  10. I will sign up as well. Will we be informed of what combination of essences will make items?
  11. I did claim a bribe this turn.
  12. It's an Alleyverse thing based off of a RWBY thing.
  13. Church of the Whiterose. Alleyverse thing. Narrator Pheonix sat up with interest. This could go several possible ways, some bad, some less bad. He didn't know which ones it would be yet, but he wasn't looking forwards to finding out.
  14. Nekorb sighed and put his hand down. It didn't seem like anyone was going to call on him. He turned to face Alask- And found him gone, along with Lena. Where had they gotten off to? He scanned the crowd. His eyes fell on Lena as she disappeared around a corner, following Alask. Where we they headed off to? He started pushing through the crowd, following the pair.
  15. Hello, everyone. I exist still. I'm a bit busy, sorry...
  16. His cousin didn't pick up, unfortunately, being dead.
  17. The serum tasted overpoweringly sweet, but not sickeningly so. Its power washed through Thought, bringing new memories with it. New memories- but somehow, they belonged, as though they had been stolen, and were only now returning to their rightful place. Unfortunately, there were too many. Three thousand years of memories do not fit easily into one mortal mind. They threatened to tear her apart, leaving nothing but a jumbled mess behind. Somewhere deep within her, she felt a resolve begin to crystallize. She would not let go. She could not let go. Instead, she pushed the extraneous memories out of the way, letting them fade to mere echoes of their former potency. She relaxed on the bed as things began to sort themselves out, coming back one by one. Slowly but surely, she began to fit together who she was. She remembered her name- Tamika Satrebil. She remembered Samika, and Nialliv. Ralvon, Tom- especially Tom- and Aurora. A quest to find a way to defeat death itself. Success- and a failure. Arguments and fighting- but also agreement and cooperation, laughing and fun. A group of friends, so tightly knit together it seemed nothing could break them apart. And then she remembered what had broken them. And more importantly, who.
  18. It would depend on whether Nialliv had gotten to Calamity first or not.
