    The figure reached out and touched her. A Narrator this was, indeed. But a character this was, also. He thought a word of silence, enhanced by his Narrative power. But no normal silence was this; the silence that silenced was this. The reverse of an idea, it cut her away from her Narrator power. In an instant, a mere character she became, the character she had acted to be.

    The woman jerked suddenly. Her face began to shift slightly. She looked up, somehow managing to stare directly at the screen. "Of course... I suppose it was too much to hope you wouldn't have a counter to your own invention." As she spoke, her voice shifted and changed. She began to teleport again, faster and faster. Soon she appeared on each screen for no more than a second. Her voice warped as she spoke. "Well, I suppose there's no hiding it now. I am Samika Satrebil, treasure hunter and scientist." @Shard of Thought

    Draug looked at the floor. "I've been wandering around for several years. Ever since..." He trailed off and shivered. "Anyways, I'd heard there was something here for people like me. So I came here."

    Draug sighed again. "You never know, do you? The future is always in shadow..." He trailed off.

    Draug shrugged. "Live here, perhaps?"

    Draug leaned against the wall. "I probably won't spend much time here, so it's not that much of a problem. Gotta fight those Voidbringers." He sighed, then looked up again. "You still live with your parents, then?"

    Draug shrugged. "I guess so? It's... crowded, but I suppose it's better than sleeping on the streets." He looked down. "That's what I usually do."

    The figure approached without slowing down. It reached out a hand to touch the woman on the chest- or anywhere, really. Matter it did not.

    "Den of Thieves, huh?" Nekorb was quiet for a moment. "I remember that. Almost died there. From what I understand, though, Lena here got me to the hospital in time for them to do something." He smiled slightly. "Nearly died there, too, but that's another story." He turned to Alask. "Sorry I haven't been... around... for a while."
