  1. "I... I'm Draug." He stared at the hand for a moment, as if unsure of what to do, then shook it.
  2. Draug stepped in and looked around apprehensively. “Do you all live here?”
  3. The figure bounded through the crowd of monsters, Silencing any who got in his way. The next it was time for. It reached Astral within seconds, extending a hand to touch her. ------- Slowly, ever so slowly, Xino opened his eyes. The rubies inside that had before glowed with fire were now dark and empty. Things were fading, threads vanishing from his mind one by one as the action of the figure took hold on his mind. SE, Alleyverse, even some things from TLT- all gone. He fought to keep hold of what memories he could, trying desperately not to forget who he was, or who he had been. "I am Xino..." he whispered, the sound strangely muffled. "I am... Xino..."
  4. Draug's eyes widened. "All ten orders? My..." He shook his head, astonished. "I've heard of places like this, but I've never actually found one."
  5. Draug took the man's hand and shook it. "My name's Draug. I'm a Third Ideal Windrunner." He looked around at the others. "What sort of Radiants do you have here?" @Dr. Dapper
  6. Nekorb turned. "Yeah, I think I remember you. What brings you here?"
  7. Reylf gazed into the giant eye, and felt its gaze on him. More than anything, that gaze made him aware of how small he really was. "No," he said softly to the man beside him. "It means us no harm. It's what's holding the tunnel open, somehow." @I think I am here.
  8. Draug dismissed his Shardblade. These people were Radiants, it was clear to see. He'd found- more or less- what he'd been looking for. So why did he feel so apprehensive? He walked over to the oldest among them, the one that looked to be in charge. "Pardon me, sir, but..." He gestured hopelessly. "...who are you?" @Dr. Dapper
  9. Draug came to abrupt stop. What was that? And... who were those people? He approached them carefully, Shardblade in hand. "Greetings, fellow Radiants."
  10. He meant to say life, but it wasn't his native language.
  11. ... You know, let's just stop talking about this.
  12. Nekorb pushed through the crowd of people. "Alask!" he cried, waving.
  13. Draug sprinted down the sidewalk, breathing in Stormlight to sustain and warm him. He'd been wrong about the Voidbringers. They hadn't abandoned him because they thought him dead, or even because they didn't care about him. They'd just found a better target. He summoned his Shardblade as he burst onto the scene, hoping he wasn't too late. @Sorana
  14. Draug crouched on the edge of the building, looking down at the street below. He shivered. Stormlight would warm him, if he drew it in, but he was hiding right now, lying in wait for the enemy. Hopefully his sudden drop into the river had convinced them they'd finished him off. They hadn't bothered following him to check, which was a good sign. But maybe they just didn't care. He shivered again, but not from the cold.
  15. The figure turned away from the fallen stone warrior. Sad that had been, true. But necessary. And not yet was his work done. He began bounding over the stones to where the small group of Narrators stood in discussion...
  16. @beantheboy12 Fantastic looked at Thought sadly. "Do you not recognize me? Have you have begun to forget again? That shard is perilous indeed..." He sighed. "But, to remind you, this man turned my loyal friends- my true friends- into monsters. And me along with them, to be his slave for three thousand years." He glared at Tom. "When you were... enlightened of this fact, you did what any reasonable person would have done and healed me."
  17. The boat slid through the hole and into a dark tunnel of rushing water. Lights on the sides of the aboveboard cabins began to glow, illuminating the deck. Reylf breathed in and out once to calm himself. That had been... strange. But it was over now. (At least, he hoped so). The ship might be moving fast, but it was steady fast, not like the insanity of the whirlpool. He looked upward at the swirling currents of water hovering a few feet over his head, wondering how they possibly stayed in place. The water wasn't that fast, was it? By all rights, the whole tunnel should collapse inwards, swallowing them up and drowning them. He could imagine the water rushing in, filling his mouth, weighing him down... He shuddered. Memories again. Dark memories. He lowered his gaze, trying to put the thought out of his mind. He wasn't usually this way; something about these waters awoke something in him he'd rather leave forgotten. All of a sudden, the ship shot into an open area, free of tunnel walls. Reylf gasped and scrambled backwards as a huge eye suddenly opened, looking down on the ship. Much of the shape of the figure was hidden, but he could see enough to know what it was. A giant squid, easily several times bigger than the city itself. Its tentacles snaked through the water, a multitude of smaller arms that spun past the ship as it whizzed down the tunnel.
