I don't think that there's any indication that Wayne is insane. I'm assuming that Marasi is who Brandon is referring to there - she travels forward in time when she burns Cadmium.

Heuristic Algorithm and Reasoning Response Engine is a story that Brandon co-wrote. It’s also sci-fi, but very different than Skyward/DE. There’s one piece of technology that appears in both books (Atmospheric Scoops), but that’s probably just Brandon reusing the terminology.

I think you linked the wrong WoB. I would be very interested in the actual one - it seems like it may answer my question. I doubt that there was a massive spren genocide committed by H/C when they arrived. However, my point regarding the spren is that they can't be the Splinters created when Odium Splintered Honor, because they were already in existence. Contrast this with Sel, where the Seons/Skaze did not exist prior to the D/D Splintering. So my question is, where are the Splinters of Honor created when Odium Splintered Honor?

I don't think that Brandon's really given us anything to go on with respect to their motivations and stuff. Crazy, off-the-wall theories aren't really my specialty (I'm not creative enough).

I've always imagined Splintering as breaking up the Investiture of a Shard into tiny pieces, i.e. Splinters. We know that the Skaze/Seons are the result of Splintering, and Brandon has described Preservation's theft of a protion of Ruin's power creating the Pits of Hathsin as "kind of" like Splintering. When Ambition was killed, waves of power were ripped off, which had a large effect on Threnody (per Khriss in Arcanum Unbounded). However, this begs the question - where are Honor's Splinters? Obviously, the Stormfather and other spren are Splinters (either Honor's alone or a mixture with Cultivation). However, most spren predate Honor and Cultivation arriving on Roshar, and even the Radiant spren (which I don't think existed prior to H/C arrival) were created before Tanavast's death, so these can't be the Splinters that result from the Splintering. What did Odium do with the remnants of Honor? It doesn't seem like they're in the Physical or Cognitive Realm (people probably would have noticed a whole bunch of new spren popping into existence). I guess that only leaves the Spiritual Realm, but that doesn't mesh with Odium pulling Dominion/Devotion's power into the Cognitive Realm (which he did specifically because he didn't want the power to be taken).

Certain pages' Arcanum references have an error (missing reference description, click to import) below the link (on this page, for example). The links themselves are working properly. It looks like they're coded the same way as on other pages (without the error): {{wob ref|xxxx}}. Anybody have any idea about what's going on or how to fix it?

The Stormfather may be the largest piece of Honor, but he's nowhere near a majority of Honor. Whether or not he temporarily Ascended is a matter of debate, but he is not currently ascended:

what is brandon working on at the moment?
Scion of the Mists replied to king of nowhere's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Even if he's started (which I don't think he has due to the lack of progress bar), there's no way that he's finishing it this year. He's said that on Jan 1 he's going to drop everything and write Stormlight 4 until it's done. -

F3 (Windrunner Glyph), C6 (Syl), and C2 (Surgebinding Chart) Red team, does anyone want to take a stab at our bonus guess? The blue team is likely to win on their next turn. @Cadmium Compounder @Inklingspren @Herowannabe @Kal-Eldin -
We got a WoB at the recent Seattle signing that, in addition to Harmony, that are currently being held by someone other than their original Vessel. Of the Vessels we know about, do we have confirmation that they are all original holders?

The Heralds who survive...
Scion of the Mists replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
The Heralds’ “insanity” isn’t them just acting crazy; rather, it’s them acting counter to their original philosophies. So Heralds in their current state are almost by definition the least suited for their Order. This is where a lot of the support for Ash as a Dustbringer comes from. Instead of being the patron saint of artistry and creativity, she’s straight up destroying stuff - archetypal Dustbringer. -

Someone asked Brandon that exact question and got RAFO'd. I think it's got to be related to the predators. -
FYI, we recently got clarification that Kaladin is only distantly related to Queen Aesudan:

Elantris interstellar teleportation
Scion of the Mists replied to Rossamund's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Oh, I think I get it. Selish magic is by far my weak point when it comes to Realmatics, but I don't think it's possible for the Aons to move the Dor in the Cognitive Realm, only draw it into the Physical Realm and shape it. But I could be totally wrong about that - I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in. I think that your self-replicating Aon idea is fascinating. -
Elantris interstellar teleportation
Scion of the Mists replied to Rossamund's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I'm really confused about what you're actually proposing. Is it: Creating a tower of Aons in the Physical Realm will "stretch" the Dor through the Cognitive Realm Each Aon "chains" from the previous one, i.e. Aon 1 draws from the Dor on the surface, Aon 2 goes through Aon 1 to draw on the Dor at the surface instead of the Dor at its location Some sort of "weaving" where the Investiture from the Dor flows back and forth between the Cognitive Realm and the Physical Realm Somehow drawing Aons in the Cognitive Realm itself Something else that I'm completely missing I know that the various Selish magic systems are supposed to be able to do "virtually anything," but allowing self-replication across the entire galaxy seems like something that could destroy the Cosmere in like a thousand different ways. -
Elantris interstellar teleportation
Scion of the Mists replied to Rossamund's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I don't think that a tower of Aon Raos would do anything more than amplify whatever power already existed at that location. So you would still end up with the same decay as before, but it would have a larger constant (the same magnitude of Elantris). Even if it did work as you're proposing, there's no way to draw a bunch of Aons stretching across space to a different planet (as it's really, really far and everything is constantly moving). -

This one seems pretty straightforward: C2 (Surgebinding Chart), F3 (Windrunner Glyph), and C6 (Syl). -
Sequel Predictions? Spoilers All
Scion of the Mists replied to Use the Falchion's topic in Cytoverse
I assumed that those "eyes" were meant to represent all of the other Cyto beings in the universe, not separate entities inhabiting a Cognitive Realm-like place. -
what is brandon working on at the moment?
Scion of the Mists replied to king of nowhere's topic in General Brandon Discussion
They've been at 100% for a few weeks now. I'm sure he's working on the outline for Stormlight but won't post a progress bar until he officially starts writing. Also, as others have pointed out, he's currently touring.
