  1. Steelrunner wins in a race anyway so if they run it suits me, and you can always just keep Nicrobursting them if they use new metals, as for what they're affecting if it was anything to do with you you'd notice, so it can only affect other things. The difference is that you can actually use Nicrosil offensively, wheras Chromium (Especially without any other abilities) Just puts them on a level with you, not to mention all they need to do is down another vial of metal and they're fine again. If you Nicroburst their vision they're going to be disoriented and probably stay blind for quite some time, if you Leech them they just need another vial and they can see perfectly fine again and can use their metals at will, but even if they replenish their metals from a Nicroburst they know they have to be careful about using them or you'll turn it against them.
  2. Well that's easily solved by just not doing it as they're about to punch you, plus if you can tap speed you could dodge it anyway. And I don't think Inquisitors would usually use emotional allomancy offensively so the same on that one.
  3. I'd prefer Nicrosil to Chromium because it's more widely useful, you can aid other mistings as well in the fight and (Assuming that their sight is based on burning Iron) not only would you blind them (and if you timed it as they were pushing on something else you could easily just crush them into something) but because they'd get a massive flash of picture first it'd definitely disorient them.
  4. I was wondering whether or not I'd need to add that technically it wasn't sleep should know better, always be technical on 17th shard. Yeah it's not true sleep but it's the only metal which can be stored in a sleep-like state. You have to be conscious for the other ones (I'll try and find a citation for that, I think that was per Sazed.)
  5. Actually thinking about it, Inquisitors couldn't store health while they sleep, Wakefulness is the only attribute that can be stored while sleeping.
  6. The planets were from interviews, Shardholder names were from Mistborn (Ati and Leras) and WoK (Rayse, Aona, Skai)
  7. I know that he threw up a bubble but I'm pretty sure that he didn't go through the hole that Wax made, and I'm pretty sure he had to tap health from it which doesn't make sense if he escaped the blast with the others.
  8. I don't have my copy on me but I'm pretty sure he didn't go through the hole with the others.
  9. He survived an explosion as well I think, although as improvements are made it'd be harder to recover from.
  10. They'd have to be blind for years to become Savants too, Marsh could see right away.
  11. Soulstamp yourself to have shorter hair instead of cutting it. Forge the dishes clean after dinner.
  12. If it was just strength in Iron/Steel then Elend would get it even stronger than the Inquisitors, which is never mentioned, and although that's not exactly proof it is suggestive.
  13. Feruchemical healing was definitely one of the more common spikes but they all had the same numbers when under TLR so they had to have something else that we didn't see, probably a few of them had speed and I think one of them probably had strength, I'd have to check. On them being blind I'm not too sure, they do see with the same blue lines as from Steel and Iron but if they had to burn these at all times just to see they'd need to carry large amounts with them and they'd also be blind every morning when they wake up after digesting the night before, they're also much much stronger than what ordinary allomancers see, I always figured it was just a passive effect of the eye-spikes. I'm also pretty sure that at some point Inquisitors were Duralumin burning weren't they? That should leave them blind as well by this theory.
  14. Only problem with Chromium is that it still leaves them with whatever feruchemical abilities they might have so they still have the edge in the fight, defintely useful as a combination though.
  15. Zeno'sSpren: Only appear when increasingly small distances are travelled, frequently found in battle with calculusspren. Schrödinger'sSpren: Only appear when you don't look at them.
  16. Misting: Nicrosil, help any other mistings kill them and be able to remove their stores, plus if you Nicroburst them while they're steelpushing on something you could kill them. Ferring, Steel Tap it all in one quick burst, remove linchpin spike. Twinborn: Double steel or the two already mentioned, steel and Nicrosil if no compounders are allowed. Hemalurgic Misting: Duralumin, Pewter just punch their head off.
  17. Clearly Rand is just using a fourth power, now that Bela has joined the Creator and the DO as deities.

Well the two coinshots would need to be exactly the same weight as well, or one of them is going to get thrown out of the bubble, but I don't realise why they'd even be necessary except for coolness factor, you don't need coinshots to keep a coin stationary, you could just hold it. And a tin ferring would probably be more useful than a misting, telescopic vision ftw!
  19. I doubt you'd be able to accurately make a gateway into the sun, it could come out anywhere really, and there's no telling how gravity would act through a gateway either so you'd either all get sucked in or all get pushed out depending on where you placed it. fatally in both cases, still if you were really commited to killing a lot of trollocs, gateway into the middle of their army then again into the sun, or make a gateway into their army from as far away as possible, make and loosely tie another one without going through the first, as it's forming close the first one.
  20. It wouldn't really matter which direction you face it in, pressure on the sun could go as high as billions of atmospheric pressures, that is going to pump through a gateway of any size fast and expand even faster, assuming that it doesn't just ignite the atmosphere that is, I don't think that that's probable but even so, gateways onto the sun = bad. Definitely agree that the tinkers need their song again though.
  21. Well even if Androl could open a gateway to the sun, if he did that probably would've killed him and everyone else on the planet, so probably a good thing that he didn't try. He also probably didn't have enough understanding of astronomy to know that that would be a useful thing to do.
  22. I almost forgot Androl, absolutely loved him, finally someone seeing all the different uses for gateways.
  23. I have this feeling that Investiture is involved somehow, I'd say he supercharged an Atium burn but then he'd need Allomancy as well.
  24. I used to have a good one about a fractal and a hospital but I seem to have completely forgotten it. Times like this I need a coppermind.
  25. Belgariad was about Polgara's choice, not Belgarion and it was more about willpower than choice as I saw it. Obviously when enough fiction exists there are bound to be similarities between some of them but I found AMoL to be quite good actually, turning the TP against the DO was nice, but it was a bit predictable.
