As the first lurker of the Dark Alley I must disapprove of the competition. As an admirer of satire and frequenter of all social guilds I find this to be awesome.

I think the key point is that more superheros of both genders need to be middle aged. I'd love to see a Superman with a receding hairline who actually needs glasses struggling to maintain his secret identity now that Clark Kent can't just slip off his magic glasses thus causing his face to somehow be completely unrecognizable. Or a spiderman struggling to continue swinging on webs now that his back has given out. Or for that matter a storm who uses her power to keep the cold at bay so her joints aren't feeling quite so achey. Or pugs. All superheros should be pugs.

You suppose correctly. Between trying to eat one of those chips and living in Portland after Calamity rises I'd probably pick Portland. (Ok so not completely fair since studying Epics would basically be a dream come true but still. )

Soulcaster comes to mind but he's unlikely to actually help and I doubt Rainmaker would be willing to let him even if he did want to help. A precog would probably be useful and it could be a chance for Aphasia to make an incredibly confusing appearance: Aphasia: Primary Power: Long term precognition, can see into the distant future and determine what lead to that future, however while he is seeing the future he suffers from verbal aphasia, causing his language skills to be mixed up. He also suffers from complete memory loss afterwards and so cannot recall what he predicted. As such his predictions are often incredibly difficult to decipher. (He predicted the eventual death of Steelheart, though he never realizes it. His exact prediction was: "The thief-core spilled by a toy, mire-brawl gives back. "(Eventually translated as "Steelheart killed by a boy, Firefight returns."))

If you don't mind a character who will almost certainly die very soon after being introduced after not really influencing the plot in any way you can always adopt an MEE Epic.

Given Neverthere's propensity for responding to serious situations by sticking her tongue out and blowing raspberries at them I think you might be disappointed. I'll try to get on the next reply soon but it's pretty late here so it might be tomorrow.

Which Epic has this power? Well the fact that busses can't... er I mean nothing, nothing at all should stop that bus from crashing through her house.
