After meeting the wise ones she very nearly dream-raped her mentor, Nynaeve, just to keep secret the fact that she was lying to the wise ones.

She's pretty small, if I had to put a number to it I'd say a little over five foot. 5'2 maybe.

Now that Q3 is wrapping up I'm rewatching all the shows that are getting another series in Q4 so Aria, Noragami, Owari no Seraph and because I enjoyed it so much rewatching Overlord before the last episode releases and finishing the LN for it too.

I remember not really hating her as much before, she was always annoying but before the white tower she was just 'that annoying character' for me, I didn't feel as empathetic to her but I still enjoyed reading her scenes. Afterwards though it was just... Yeah. Annoying doesn't begin to describe it. I've never before or since felt like it about a character but she's the one character I actively hated. And her ending was just more of the same for me. I'm also not a big fan of Hobb though all I've read is Farseer.

Oh look. She just arrived at the museum where Nighthound is. What a coincidence.

A wry smile tugged at the corner of Neverthere's mouth as Lucentia delivered her latest attempt to insult her, blessedly she was cut short when Nighthound tried to hug Neverthere, his arms phasing straight through her incorporeal body making her wish, if only for a second, that she could be there in person. But no, too dangerous. Lucentia finished by staring at her before seemingly accepting some aid. "Well that's splendid then." Neverthere replied, side stepping the arm halfway through her torso before linking her arm with it and resting her head on Nighthounds shoulder. "Did you have anything specific in mind? As I said I know where all the major Epics in Portland are and I think I found most of the Astorian Epics too, although I did have trouble tracking down a certain blood manipulator." She was very interested to see if Lucentia would confirm the existence of the Epic, during her outings to Astoria she'd heard little more than whispers although one group of Epics may have had an altercation of some kind with her in person. But if it was true that Lucentia had her own spymaster then it would be valuable information indeed. If she could ever find the Epic she would be able to spy on the master spy, both deliciously ironic and a great tactical advantage. It might even be enough to convince her to move, Portland was growing more dangerous by the day and if she could gain any leeway over the ruler of Astoria... Well, she would see how things developed and as always find her own advantage in the ensuing chaos before vanishing into the mist again. The Planner had quickly realized their destination, some memories of the previous few days had resurfaced, allowing him to recall the flying museum and its inhabitants. Standoffish base of power, meant to inspire awe? fear? Method of levitation? Unclear. Memories show no investigation was performed. Sloppy. He had vaguely recalled there being some kind of pillar leading up to the museum before but if there was it was gone now. Offering his hand to his spouse, the Planner attempted to rearrange his facial structure into a suitably charming smile. "May I?" He asked, gripping her hand lightly before a dark pair of wings sprouted from his back, constructed from the nearby shadows. Abilities yet untested, thickness of shadow relative to strength or limited per surface area? Unclear, more testing required, more facilities. Need to acquire more samples for research, museum inhabitants? No. Needed for social advantage, power base and to minimize security risk. Spouse? Before the thought was even complete something inside him screamed no. No, not spouse. He concluded, unusually forming no sort of logical argument, it seemed to be something of an axiomatic response, something that would never be questioned. He would not harm her. Bringing her closer to him with another strip of shadow he lifted the two of them skywards, the strength of the shadow seemed to be enough to hold them, and the force it exerted was enough to provide a somewhat speedy ascent. Time to assess the situation. Gather allies. Acquire resources. Nodding in satisfaction, Jeff Carlisle held onto Marigold Carlisle before they both stepped lightly into the entrance of the museum.

"You mean every possible weakness? Like Hitting him with a lead pipe while setting fire to his shins and smashing cake into his face?" Except no cake. Nighthound doesn't deserve cake.
-
The only problem I find here is the assumption that anyone would either Judge Ray or mind in the slightest that Nighthound was being drowned in piranha-water.
-
Maybe through sheer karmic balance this means that both Scribbler and Impact will become Redeemed, murder Neverthere and then imprison Nighthound in a cell where people can come and set fire to him til someone finds his weakness.
-
Figured as much. Ah well time for more NevertherexNighthound I guess. *Pulls out bucket of brain bleach*
-
Anyone know what kind of time it is in the Dalles? I'm in the mood to write some Scribbler/Impact but neither would be active in the morning due to being either asleep or in a drugged coma from stab wounds respectively.

My pet peeve is any character that reminds me of Egwene, who remains one of the only characters I've ever read who I actually hate. (Aside from of course every single character in the Twilight saga who shall not be counted or mentioned)

I have a mix of early 20's and mid-late 30's with my characters.

If you have a pet of any kind you'll find it still gets stolen pretty frequently. One of our cats is nicknamed klepto-kitty because if any personal item is left alone for 3 seconds she'll steal it and hide under a bed to play with it for a while. -
Adventurer/Bioterror post up, I'm still getting the hang of Lockvault and I'll need to read through a fair bit of his earlier posts before I get a POV from him up but I'm enjoying writting him from the Adventurers POV for now so I'll stick with that Neverthere/PP post should be up tonight too. That's actually a good point, Epic cells undergo mitochondrial degeneration pretty quickly after death so I don't know that dead tissue should still have any of his powers.

Bioterror's eyes, already set to adjust to the supernatural levels of darkness in the tower nearly exploded when Brightdeath teleported in front of him, she lit the entire tower up with a blinding light, both announcing their presence to everyone in it and very nearly blinding him. He would have healed from it even if he had been blind but she didn't know that did she? "First part of not getting in someones way." He growled at the teleporter. "Don't teleport right sparking in front of them. Second part, don't bloody blind me or I'll turn your capillaries into jelly." His vision returned very quickly to normal and he barely managed to resist giving Brightdeath a taste of her own medicine by giving her a retinoblastoma. Opting instead to rearrange some of his internal organs he shifted some poison producing glands around before mentally double checking his internal structure for any vulnerabilities and proceeding further into the tower, his enhanced leg muscles carried him onwards swiftly and quietly, though any chance of a complete surprise attack had long since been lost. A bright flash lit the tower at the same time the Adventurer noticed a familiar presence appear on his minimap. "Huh." He said, he was still holding onto Lockvaults arm with one hand, the other gently brushing a wall. He'd been right on the verge of teleporting before the flash had hit. "What? More reinforcements?" Lockvault asked, his eyes rapidly darting too and fro as he seemed to be extending all his senses to see what the Adventurer had detected. "Sort of, one of those two we met yesterday, the one who could fast travel. Is this like a follow up quest or something?" Lockvault appeared to be deep in thought for a moment, perhaps the Adventurer was wrong, he seemed to be a much better tactician than he'd first thought. "If there's someone else who can fast travel like you then they'll catch up to us if we head upwards, but if they're here they might be er.. doing the same quest as us, we don't want to fight them and the top floor do we?" "Well I don't think she has a minimap, I can travel to somewhere nearby and keep an eye on them, jump in once one side is winning and then finish them both off?" Lockvault didn't exactly seem to approve of such tactics but reluctantly he nodded. The Adventurer put a hand to the wall again, shifting through the walls of the tower to come out in an empty room near to the top, he felt the presence of the two who had entered below rapidly ascending to meet those who'd been at the top, although they now appeared to be spreading out. Straining as much as he could he discovered that what he'd always used as a simple minimap had much greater detail this close, he could almost see all the people running around, one below bounding up in an almost animal fashion. This game was so cool.

So you like vegemite but hate Pavlova? ... IT'S CALAMITY! KILL IT!
-
It's solidified deliciousness.
-
Have you ever had a pavlova before?
-
Don't lump us all in together, about 50% of us hate it just as much as every other sane country. The other 50% are suffering from Stockholm syndrome. I can smell a half a teaspoon from 2 houses away and it still makes me retch, I don't think quantity is the issue. Sacrilege! LightwardsxRandomCoinIFound is the only OTP!
-
I'm not even a big fan of vegemite even when people do relatively sane things with it like put it on bread. Putting it on chocolate and chips is on a level so insane that even Funtimes is wondering if perhaps the people who enjoy those products mightn't be safer in an institution of some kind.

Excellent. Now if only this cat would move...
