Still Having a Bad Day? Exchange Your Rants For Hugs Here!
Voidus replied to Silverblade5's topic in General Discussion
*Interweb hugz for Twi* Whatever happens this guy will still love you. -
I've been wanting to RP as a Vanilla for a while for something a bit different, and then I remembered that someone wanted to RP as someone in Astoria who secretly took blood samples of Epics to sell or create Epic Tech and thought Salem might be a better place for a character like that, does anyone remember who it was?

Or he did but everyone just passed off his constant creepy glaring as 'usual weird Reader behaviour'

Unfortunately the truth behind most people who suffer from OCD, trying to explain to someone who has OCD that their obsession is irrational is completely pointless, they likely already know that and it just makes things worse because it makes you feel like you're being judged in addition to being completely unable to rid yourself of those irrational thoughts. Sorry you had to go through that. My only solution is what Twi said. Wet wipes are your best friend with alleviating some of the stress, plus if it gets too bad and you break into a sweat you have something to wipe it off with Speaking of which it is now coming into spring here in Aus, which will inevitably lead to summer and I remember again why I hate the sun for 6-9 months out of the year. Why can't it just be winter all the time? -
<Just noticed Edge is using the picture I found for Vapors Icon. XD

Can we call it a Funquisition? Because I've always wanted to call something that and i I'm not allowed to use it for this then it'll have to be the name of PP's next personality
-
Nobody's ever really ready for Funtims.

I actually prefer the taste of some over full sugar versions.

Or is Edge allowed to Murderize Reader to death? Or both?
-
Same with Scribbler. And MV. And Impa... wait a second... *Hurriedly writes Impacts destruction of Readers office*

Cuss words are pretty much all I remember of the languages I've studied I used to think I only remembered them because of a coincidence. Now I know it was all fated to happen just so I can use them all against Reader.

It was for Corvallis wasn't it? Comatose will need to approve it but I'd say it looks good. Maybe PM Coma about it to make sure you get a reply.

I assure you I'm already amply supplied with cookies

Watching the clouds part in front of her with a sense of satisfaction, Cornucopia looked out the window to the fields below. A lone van was fleeing the scene back towards the city. Scared citizens who managed to escape? Or perhaps more of those... things trying to spread the destruction back into the city? "Call Rainmaker and Buttercup let them know about that van, see if Chase can tell if there are any of ours in there." Cornucopia said, or rather yelled as gently as she could, to her pilot. Thrusting the door open she stepped outside into the air, the sunlight caressing her skin made her feel nearly invulnerable but she knew from experience that she still looked down, jumping to the ground seemed unwise, the sunlight streaming onto her skin assured her that she would survive the fall easily but the workers had spread out quite a bit, too far for her to chase down on foot and it would seem most unsightly for her to run through her fields looking for these terrors. As the copter flew near enough to the first group of fleeing citizens she got her first look at their attackers, something seemed not entirely human about them, the way they ran, their speed greater than anyone who wasn't an Epic should be capable of. Capturing the assailants was barely worth the effort, a thrust of her power as they flew over and nearby vines tore themselves up to entangle their roots and branches into the flesh of the madmen, she began to snap their necks with some of the sturdier branches before realizing that they should probably keep a few alive to see what they knew. Flying in a wide arc around the fields she managed to capture most of them, a few had miraculously managed to tear her vines to pieces before she could completely immobilize them, those she destroyed completely, leaving nothing but a bloody mass of thorns as she expressed her displeasure. She had to capture the fleeing civilians as well, they'd been unable to recognize that they were now safe and the fools had kept running. We need Euphy back now before this insanity spreads any farther. Turning to her pilot again, Cornucopia grimaced in distaste, she did loathe having to yell her instructions like this. "Head back towards the city, if anyone escaped we can track them down later but none of these seemed any more powerful than the others, they've all been Gifted to but there's no indication of the source they've either left through some other power or they're in that van."

Actually I'm not sure Epics would be able to survive the sun, for one we don't know if Calamity would still affect them at that distance but also the radiation might mutate them enough that they lose their abilities. Maybe Steelheart could but you can't heal back your abilities after you lose them.

Black hole?

And fired it into the sun?

If Lucentia whines in a forest with no one to hear it, is it still annoying? Yes. Yes it is.

I have a love hate relationship with my brain. I love the part that aces exams, knows a bunch of random facts, is passionate about science and likes Brandon Sanderson. I hate the part that regularly drives me into anxiety attacks, prevents me from sleeping and constantly doses me with unbearable pain at 4am for weeks on end. -
Lucentia locks them both in a diamond cage while everyone else takes turns shooting/incinerating/exploding them til they stay dead?

There is that, maybe once we're done with a town and we want to make absolutely sure everyone has a motive for destroying it we can introduce Babaji there?
-
Looks good to me, some very interesting potential dynamics like ongoing and pretty powerful corruption mixed with empathy for Vanillas due to growing memories from them, a reincarnator with potentially a lot of incentive not to die if she's got a really good power.

Short Cornucopia post up, hopefully I can get something up in Portland soon too.

Cornucopia narrowly avoided sighing into the handset that one of her butlers was holding for her. Phones were such dreary affairs, breaking the serene peace of her garden just as easily as actual conversation but with none of the social enjoyment of actually connecting with someone. No way to read facial expressions or predict emotions. Tone was all she had to rely on and it had never been her strong suit. "If you wouldn't mind letting a patch of sunlight through to the fields I'll deal with it straight away." She said. She lamented the loss of her peaceful morning, but then the fields were hers too. Anyone who attacked the fields was attacking her and she would not see that kind of aggression go unanswered. One of the maids arrived, curtsying before telling her in a near whisper that the transport was ready. Standing up, Cornucopia began to glide out of the door, switching the call from the old fashioned telephone in the reception area to her mobile. Regrettably she even had to hold the cursed thing with her own hands. "I'm on my way now." She stated into the mouthpiece as she approached the helicopter, a noisy mode of transport and one utterly unsuited to the kind of grace she usually demanded but sacrifices had to be made for speed and it did have a certain dramatic flair. "Ten minutes tops." The pilot screamed over the roaring of the blades through the air. Cornucopia tuned out both blades and pilot as she entered, taking an uncomfortable seat and raising the mobile to one ear again.
