I don't know what happened but I tested the latest build of the game and for some reason Voidgaze multiplied herself a million times and her sprite got colour inverted. Combined with still being on oxy I was seriously concerned I had just gone insane for a moment.

I'll add a vote for Edge, so long as the question 'what's Nighthound's weakness' is added to the list of questions he'll be asked. But yeah, Edge is helpful both in and out of the Reckoners RP and has written some of the best characters and scenes I've seen outside of fully published works.

Not like the Rending of Metronome the great, spoken of only in hushed whispers. (Some say because if you speak of it any louder you burst out laughing but Metronome the great knows it's just because of the fear he inspires)

Don't fret too much, I've had more than a few periods of slacking on the RP. Even pugs slack off sometimes.

Well eventually I might try to make other games for each of our favourite characters, it would be a great way to practice in different genres but unfortunately I don't have a whole studio to devote to it just myself so I'll have to stick to one at a time now

Teleporting is easy enough, it's the transmutation that's the problem. Well it'll be a while before I get to anything in the Dalles let alone Astoria so I have a while to plan for her at least Definitely going to make 'Big Al's Adventure' at some point.

You should be. How dare you create a character with such an outlandish powerset that I have trouble figuring out how to procedurally emulate it.

Unity decided it hates me today so not much progress unfortunately, got some basic following and attacking AI done as well as a health bar, should be able to start testing and implementing powers soon. Funtimes is going to be a challenge to say the least.

As I've pointed out the Epic with the most certain and severe Rending purely from an energy point of view was clearly Curveball.

On a side note though, Brandon has confirmed that not all Epics do go through a rending, it's tied to how powerful they are.

Everyone? (Except Nighthound, Nighthound doesn't get to punch anyone) I have no idea how to implement multiplayer, I can make separate characters controlled by the same keyboard easy enough but I've never made anything that needed any kind of networking but I might look into it.

I started making it in UDK since they're what I usually use but it's mostly used for 3d games so I switched to Unity which I haven't used in a while. UDK is a pretty high end engine, it's used quite a lot even in AAA titles(Mass effect, Xcom, Gears of War) and it's free to use and publish games on it, they only charge a 5% royalty so if you're not selling the game then it's totally free. Unity has a pro version but they also have a free version with less features and I don't think you have to pay royalties or anything for its use.

Phew. Got some basic character movement and collision working, I took a look at the spritesheet that the website Kobold linked to generates and it looks like it'd be more useful in a top down rpg than a side scroller like I was thinking of but that's probably a better way to play anyway since it is a G based on an RP Using Voidgaze for now since she's already been made along with some unlicensed floor and wall tiles I had in my tilesets.

Origin of about half my Epics I might do something like that but it probably wouldn't be revealed right now anyway, at the least zhe will probably switch appearance to other genders at various points to avoid detection.

Not sure whether or not I want to canonize it for the same reason I haven't given PP a persona that identifies as female, it's a pretty difficult to write someone struggling with gender identity like that when I have no experience with it.

S/he could pretty easily, his power is mostly limited by mass rather than complexity.

I also wonder, do teleporters in Oregon ever ask before grabbing onto people and porting them?
