    I think they meant that the phrase 'god beyond' implies that it's a power beyond something else and the logical comparison would be Shards so the title suggests something 'beyond' Shardic strength.

    Also given that almost all (probably all but added almost for safetys sake) allomancers are mistings now they might not even think about different types of reserves enough to recognize that it's separate, IIRC Vin needed to take a while to realize that her reserves were separate powers after Kelsier pointed it out.

    Differences in visualization I suppose, I don't think it looks like one either but there's nothing I can point at and say 'that's not right!' it just doesn't look like how I imagined them so it's completely subjective for me at least.

    I think someone with divine power who can read minds and has an expanded consciousness could likely correctly guess the motivations of the parties involved and was speculating on the potential motivations that's all. Remove Allomantic gold spike, heal the power back, remove Feruchemical gold spike, burn a metalmind to heal it back. We're not entirely sure that it could work but it's a fairly well known idea so I assumed it was self-explanatory. But at the worst case scenario he'd be left with one spike instead of a few dozen and plenty of people have managed that and not minded all that much.

    But the Investiture already existed, it's just drawn from the power of creation so the metals aren't being transformed. Eh, well until we learn otherwise I choose to believe the energy from the burned matter is transformed into Lifts Awesomeness.

    It's a term people use for it, I certainly didn't invent it and honestly I prefer allomantic compounding personally but is this seriously going to turn into an argument of semantics? Also: Not sure if you realized the inherent irony here but either way, if you don't mind could we keep the discussion civil? This is probably the one place on the internet that usually is.

    I don't believe I've ever said that but regardless that's irrelevant, it still isn't analogous by definition unless it follows the same path. I wasn't suggesting that's how it has to be, merely that if you want to create an analogous reverse you'd need to follow the same path. Feruchemy changes the person too (Arguably more-so than Allomancy which is half external) so that doesn't really follow. It would help me a lot if you stopped putting words in my mouth.

    Coming as soon as Neverthere gets bored of watching not much happening in the Dominion and decides to check out the Dalles for a while before inviting the nice young lady she met there home? I don't really have much to post about, I can get the Carlisles to meet Lucentia or Nighthound I guess but it'd mostly just be the Planner trying to figure out how their powers work and idly considering trying to dissect them while I guess Saccharine would get stuck trying to be civil to Lucentia and secretly plotting to teleport her brain out of her skull if she looks at PP one more time.

    That was when he'd had the power for a scant few seconds, he's had a few centuries to get used to it now, by the end of his use of the well (Which can't have taken that long) TLR was custom designing bacteria, pretty sure making noises is small potatoes compared to that.

    Actually I think the two have separate mists, Brandon mentioned it before AoL came out I believe though so not sure if he decided to stick with it or not.
