Well it could only influence things that are actually possible, something like that happening has got to be trillions t one odds so you'd need to have some insane compounding going on to do anything like that. Bullets coincidentally missing sounds likely, maybe the floor the coinshot is standing on collapses but things like hurricanes is stretching it a bit far I'd think.
-
The stick of course.
-
Yeah, the chances of it happening would be just insanely low, Mistborn or Feruchemists alone seem to be so rare that there's not been any for generations, a combination of the two would need a few billion years of careful breeding programs. Unless Sazed just decides to release a bunch of Lerasium and turns a bunch of people in feruchemists.

The Dark Alleys of the seventeenth shard are everywhere.

Yeah that's what I thought, massively unlikely but not impossible.

Also I think he confirmed that he doesn't get any powers from the Stormlight.

Can you quote it? Other than the most recent interviews I've read most WoB and it doesn't sound even vaguely familiar.
-
Seconded, I don't see the point in calling something rust if it has absolutely nothing to do with rust. And what are you proposing as an alternative? I'm still not entirely clear. Some other Shards god metal that's somehow alive?
-
Well it's not particularly likely but if say Spook and Tindwyl had a child it'd have a small likelihood of being both, which is why TLR's breeding program for the Terrismen was so strict.

I think after the next few posts from Atrophy and Cornucopia they'll be at around that time, flying across the city and back, going to each of the captives and weakening them and then some interrogation is something that should take a while.

I get that he might not have thought about it enough to guess what it might do but he if he was aware that it was a possibility he'd have to mention that there might be some kind of effect from it. Information is limited but he's got to be the person who would seek out that kind of information, he's been fighting other metalborn for a long time now, he'd be going out of his way to learn that kind of thing (As he obviously did with Miles' compounding) plus his grandmother was trying to warn him about the dangers of combining the powers, seems like if she knew any ways in which it could be dangerous that he didn't already know then she'd use that information.

Well I don't know if I'd call it love, more 'mutual hatred of everyone else and slightly less hatred of each other owing to mutually beneficial relationship.;

Just don't try to congratulate them on their union. Or anything else. Actually just don't go near them, it's better for everyone that way.

Depends if you're in the cosmere or on earth, I'm sure you could think of a way to make enough money to get the gold you need if you're the only one. Like selling your organs multiple times That said if that's true about zinc then I might switch too, can you link me?

Sometimes even I can't remember all of our inside references and jokes, and half of them I was a participant in Some people say that it's because I made too many Epics and so they're pushing other information out of my brain, but to those people I say... what's the word again? Oh yeah! 'FlameShade!'

Dropping it on a coal mine though is a great way to boost the economy by making a bunch of diamonds.

I'd be seriously worried about the world running out of paper but yeah that sounds awesome.

He healed plenty of times, so he's used Atium and goldminds at the same time at least.

Like compound Bendalloy and turn himself into a really fat old guy?
-
This helps my brain stop trying to murder itself immensely. Thank you very much kind Sharder!
-
Chromium compounder is the standard choice, infinite luck is hard to pass up. But I'd go with Nicrosil Compounder because then I'd finally know what Nicrosil does feruchemically.

What if they all went to the Arena in Salem and had to fight in a sudden death match? DeathDeathDeath in sudden death to the death! Well it's better than having to write more NevertherexNighthound scenes, we'll take it in rotating shifts to try to prevent us becoming too insane from it. Poor Edge just has to write for them all.

Trying to deflect the attention elsewhere ey? HOID! I vote for Honor spren.

Mistborn is a great read, though Stormlight has slightly better writing for the most part since it was written after Brandon finished the Wheel of Time series which I think helped him a lot. Elantris is one I usually recommend people read early, it's his first published work and there are a few things that are off about the pacing and such but it's still a great read. But I love all of his books so I just recommend you read all of them really
