Keep in mind that this mission involves landmines and hidden explosives so there is a very good chance that Timeport will get blown up. Sorry Winter, it's a great game and I wish I could help, other than waiting for it to go on a sale or something I don't know what to recommend. It is four years old at this point though so most systems should be able to run it, although macs can be pretty tricky in terms of what they run. Hope it works out for you.

The direct quote if you're interested:

For many name changes before you settled on Kipper IIRC.

Yeah pretty much, but you only really have to stop while you're sleeping.

I'd probably put my bet on it being another Worldhopper, while he did appear twice in WoA that wasn't as two separate people, he likely kept his Terris disguise for most of the novel.

And now because the planets have aligned and I'm wearing the correct socks it's time for another of Voidus' segments: A day in the life of 'The future stinks'

I'm highly tempted at this point to start a rival social guild called 'The Mobius strip' for something that's infinitely recursive on both sides (Which are both the same side) but the forums been getting loaded up quite a bit with joke guilds so I think I might leave it for now. Now excuse me while I begin work on a... completely unrelated project in Alley

This was my reasoning too, plus he has the ability to wake himself up, which means he might even be able to break out if Soulcaster tried to trap him in the Astral plane. Some very interesting interactions to be had. Either that or they team up and combine their abilities to cause everyone in Oregon to have Nightmares so severe that everyone simultaneously agrees to just burn the entire state to the ground to get rid of them. Oh and on the Corvallis note I'm ready to time skip if everyone else is so take that as one vote for skipping.
-
I am definitely hoping for some Matrix style fights between them in the Astral plane.

Ah, gotcha, not sure that I agree, I mean we haven't seen anyone who has been immune to it yet but the prime candidates (Susebron, TLR, Herlads maybe) Haven't been tested on yet so it's hard to say for sure. That being said Malatium did work on TLR so maybe Nightblood would, though I still think that even if it did effect him he wouldn't die no matter how many times Nightblood made him stab himself.

Solid episodes of both Flash and Arrow this week, loved the role reversal going on in Arrow particularly, this series is just hitting so many more good notes than last series did for me. Plus that cliffhanger at the end of Flash was good too.

The problem is that it's such a hot issue that even gentle rib-nudging can be misconstrued pretty easily. Plus while that might have been the intention of some writers you can be sure that one of the reasons it made it through editing was for the sex appeal. Still, not a bad first episode though it hasn't really stuck with me as much as the Flash or Arrow did in their pilot episodes so not sure if I'll be an avid watcher but I'll probably keep an eye on it for now and see where it goes.

Sorry, not entirely sure what your first point is, and I think that quote about Lerasium Mistborn was just that they're 'closer' than regular Allomancers would be to being a Sliver, I don't think we can gain much else from it.
-
Oooh that's a good idea, although I might have gone with giving them Allomantic bronze so they can use their seeker powers to detect a disturbance in the force whenever one of them logs on. Or Atium so they can ban them before they even post.
-
He's kind of insanely invested, not sure that Nighthound would work on him. And even if it did he's functionally immortal unless you remove his metalminds, gold can even heal spiritual wounds so not sure he'd stay dead.

Zas I guess? He used to be the quote-finder extraordinaire. I'd give some Soothing abilities to Twi since she already gives people a massive emotional boost, if she had supernatural aid I think the world would just be hugging and looking at pug pictures all day inside of a week. Then I guess I'd give Chaos Feruchemical steel so that he could speed his way through fixing the site anytime it breaks down, although I'm already pretty sure he does that since it never seems to be down for more than an hour.
-
You have an awesome picture of a cat wearing a hat, and I am fans of them both.
-
So ground rules: No you can't give abilities to Brandon because we'd all want him to have Feruchemical steel, Feruchemical zinc and a Bendalloy bubble around him at all times. You can't give the abilities to yourself or stipulate in your post that the other Sharder has to use them for your benefit. Atium and Malatium are presumed to be freely available should you want to give either of their abilities to someone. You can separate abilities and give them to two different people (Give one person an allomantic ability and another person the feruchemic ability) So, if you could give an allomantic and feruchemical ability to anyone on the 17th Shard, what would you give and to whom?
-
Kobold locks them all up in his vault. I don't know if there's a collection with them all anywhere else though.
-
Yeah I'd think so, just like lifting massive weights when tapping pewter doesn't cause your muscles to split apart once you stop tapping.
-
So Twi/anyone else who wants to chip in, any thoughts on another RP set in maybe a different country or something with a set time ratio to RL? (I may have already populated all of Australia with Epics )
-
Well not the normal ones anyway.
-
You just use your other stomach. You don't have one of those? Non-denziens are weird.

Also relatively sure we got a quote from Brandon that the metal is from a Shard we know.- 7 replies
