Given the way that bubbles work I doubt they have any gravitational distortion, let alone enough to produce a FTL engine.

Why do harmony need spikes to talk to people anyway?
Voidus replied to king of nowhere's topic in Mistborn
Because his Shards Intent prevents him from using his power like that, he did indeed give Spook the powers of a Mistborn straight after taking up Harmony but now that he's been influenced by the intents for a few centuries he's mostly paralyzed by them. It's the same reason he needs Wax at all rather than just incinerating Paalm off the face of the planet. -
Also the only metal that we know for sure could steal abilities other than allomancy and feruchemy is Atium and there's not exactly a lot of that lying around the cosmere.

Regalia managed ok and she was bedridden so I don't think it'd be completely impossible.

Steely? ... Do we need to send you to Autumn's counselling sessions along with Neverthere? Well if they have the destructive capability to level an entire state it would be a pretty big deal still. In fact the best defense would be to do exactly that then just live in the middle of Oregon and blow the state up again every now and then to make sure no one could ambush you or anything.
-
My opinion on NS would be that s/he's a powerful Epic but like Regalia not a High Epic and unlike Regalia she doesn't have a pseudo-defenssive power that at least keeps her hidden. So I think she'd be capable of levelling an entire state but not an actual war. I will almost certainly be proven wrong come Calamity but hey, that's the fun in theorizing.

The thinking was that it was Allomantic pewter, so he'd feel the pain less, heal a bit faster and just be able to power through it a bit easier.

Other than the one I supplied I don't know of any WoB that says so, and as that one says they can power the powers provided by Hemalurgy, it doesn't say anything about charging the spikes themselves. I'd be pretty surprised if they couldn't but as I said Harmony probably couldn't do so now due to his Intent forcing him to non-intervention mostly.
-
Not really, powering the allomancy doesn't make the allomancy any stronger it just supplants the need for metals. The Mists did make it stronger so it's potentially within the power of the Shards I suppose, but they'd need to power it constantly as opposed to just topping up the power of the spike. I'd think it's pretty likely that Harmony technically could recharge a spike but I also doubt the Intent would let him spend power like that. He has the power to move planets around if he wants so I doubt there's much he couldn't do with the power if he were able to freely wield it, but as he showed in SoS for now he has to mostly rely on using agents to carry out his will.

could there be another big "god"? anti-adonalsium
Voidus replied to Kaze the white eye's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well something had to shatter Adonalsium so unless it was self inflicted there's some kind of opposing power on at least the same level -
Or.... We do know someone whose first name is Bruce...

Then again the Epics also have a Nighthound on their side so I don't care how scared, angry or repressed they make people feel, every sane moral person on the planet is going to rebel against them.
-
Or say destroy an entire state on the northwest coast of the US.
-
Not if you're moving at 90% the speed of light, no but at the speeds that would be more normally used it's still mostly air resistance.
-
There'd also be the question of where the heck it came from. But her actions are also distinctly un-harmonious, the source of the metal doesn't necessarily mean that you'll follow the Shards ideal but really I'd say that Paalm at least is pretty into autonomy.
-
Sounds like the Hunger Games all over again, I can maybe understand why the relatively rich and comfortable underclass don't rebel but coal miners are not exactly going to be happy and safe with their lot no matter what happens. Or in this case the soldiers who are going to die anyway, I mean seriously what do you have to lose?

I imagine because it's at the wedding which is itself a cameo for Rubix and FRR.
-
Nope, Brandon was going to include it but then someone pointed out it would result in accidentally microwaving people
-
Yes I believe he did.

Arena matches? So the book takes place in Salem? Oh wait...

What was Hoid up to during the Final Empire Mistborn trilogy?
Voidus replied to Morik's topic in Cosmere Discussion
There's WoB that he originally wanted the bead for gaining Allomancy so it seems likely that he's either used it for that since or else he discovered its Feruchemical use and has been using it for that. -
Shardblades and plate would be very difficult to push or pull on but not impossible.

could there be another big "god"? anti-adonalsium
Voidus replied to Kaze the white eye's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I thought those were both pretty well explained as being from Shards, Kandra blessings are just human attribute spikes given to a Mistwraith, Parshendi forms come from spren. -
I think he's confusing the quote that says that Ruin is better at powering Allomancy or Feruchemy when it's been given by Hemalurgy, it didn't say he could charge Hemalurgy. For reference:
