I managed to pick up His Dark Materials, Northern Lights Book 1 by Philip Pullman because the tv series just fascinates me!

A santhid?? those things are massive! I would be a kandra, they fascinate me and can change. I'd like to experience that.

Totally forgot this was coming out, here goes my Saturday!

Now anticipating an airport scene where a Mistborn etc gets stopped by airport security for the machine going off wildly!

Communicate using whistles and clicks like dolphins yet look as amphibious as Abe Sapien? That's an idea I can get behind!

I swear if we get a Seymour (FFX) style character in the future that just constantly evolves to the point of manic rage then I'll flip.

I'm still completely and utterly jealous of everyone who gets to go to this

I'm still reading The Dragon Reborn, going a bit slow think I might be burn out a little, and have just bought The Call of Cthulhu and The Legend of the Condor Heroes. Looking for some good LOTR-like adventure series, hopefully get Starsight soon but I think there's a limit to how much I can read at the same time without just burning myself out!
