Life goal: learn how to english.
I mean, seriously.
Why is English so difficult?
I read all the time.
I should know how it works!
But noooooooo.
*sigh*
-
Okay...
Why do I find this so blasted funny?
Oof, and quality picture, as usual.
Translation:
Summary of Warbreaker:
Vivenna: Oh no! Poor Siri! She must be so frightened and miserable right now!
(Cut to Siri dancing on a table in a crop top with Susebron while Lightsong chants SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS and Hoid belts out Don't Stop Believing on a karaoke machine in the background).
Also, I just preordered RoW! Yay!

Woohoo! I just pledged $50! I need to get a real job.
Anyone know when my chicken and I can sign up for the Chromatic Chicken Scouts?
(I tried to get a picture of him next to the SA, but he wouldn't hold still...)

Step right up ma’am, and pledge the oaths! The Chicken Scouts

"I'm glad to be with you Samwise Gamgee. Here at the end of all things."
Me: *cries softly*
Guys... Sam let Frodo go this time... He didn't follow... (I half expected an "I'm going into the West alone!" "I know! And I'm going with you! " exchange again).
I NEED A TOLKIEN PERSON TO TELL ME WHAT'S IN THE WEST PLEASE!
IT'S ONE IN THE MORNING AND I HAVE BEEN ON THE VERGE OF TEARS (when not actually crying) FOR THE PAST HOUR AHHHHH. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET SAD I JUST TRY TO GET MORE SAD AND NOW MY GLASSES ARE COVERED IN THOSE ANNOYING SALT SPECKS.
My soul....
(If you didn't pick up on it, I just finished the extended edition of the Return of the King. I watched it in one sitting and I'm so glad I did but MY SOUL).
But the relationships between Sam and Frodo and Merry and Pippin... Sooooooo much better than any romance ever.
Did I mention I love Aragorn?
And yes, I've seen this before, but it's been ages. (Back when I was bad at putting things together and following multiple plot lines).
And I'm really sorry for all these late night status updates written while I was half asleep and half crying.
...
I'm going to go read... And clean my glasses...

I just finished Endgame.
I haven't had my heart squeezed like that since Mistborn or Warbreaker... Actually, there's no comparison there. Books generally pack a longer lasting emotional punch for me than movies, if not as intense in the moment.
Is the Cosmere better?
Yes.
Was it still good?
For sure.
Is LotR still better?
Yes.
I did enjoy it.
But in all honesty, it's really weird to me how many people enjoy the MCU. Not just the sci-fi people, not just the comic book people, not just the fantasy people, everyone else too. I see how they did it. It just makes me with those people would give other things in those genres a try too.
And admit it- it's one of the weirdest cross over things ever. It's just a hodgepodge of literally everything genre wise.
I'd actually talk about this some more if I wasn't really of and if I thought i could make my brain spew make sense.
Random bird update- Kaladin ate spinach today!!!! He also went down stairs with me (his first time going down there) and rode around on my shoulder. I also have another bird now as well. He's a classic green and yellow budgie, about a year old, a little grumpy pants, and also loves riding around on my shoulder. He isn't named yet, but he might be Dragon. Because I'm really creative.
Goodnight!

*drawn out gasp*
I'll be honest too. I only got halfway through the Two Towers. But I also tried reading all those in middle school, so I would actually be able to finish that now after reading things like tWoT.
And I see your point... But that's part of the appeal for me in all honesty. I just need to get my hands on the extended editions of the first two...

My other parakeet died yesterday. It's been a rough week.
So, once again, to make sure my remaining parakeet didn't get lonely, I got another one. And, once again, I need a Cosmere name.
(Also once again, not the best pictures).
I'm fairly certain this one is female, and she's super skittish. (Her wings are also clipped, unlike the other one (who I still haven't named), so I can't blame her). I was thinking about maybe naming her Siri (partly just to confuse people) or Vivenna.
Thoughts? Ideas? Feelings? Comments? Concerns?
I've also been doing a bit of research, and I now think that they are both around two or three months old.

Okay, so i ended up naming her Kiwi. This is because I'm not very sure of her gender, and I don't want to name her something like Vivenna only to have her turn out to be male. (You can tell by the color above their beak, the cere, and Kiwi's is right between the color of a young male and a young female.) I figured Kiwi would be a good name for either a male or female.
So, yeah! Meet Kiwi! She has a very nice sounding chirp, and is getting along very well with my other bird. (Who still doesn't have a name.)
And since I'm (finally) getting a job, I have decided that I'm going to get a larger cage, expand my flock to four birds, and potentially start breeding them. I've been doing a lot of research over the past few days, and I really hope I can make that happen. (Parakeets when they are just a few weeks old are adorable).
Thanks for reading my random spewing of words!

I need some advice. One of my parakeets died a few days ago, and to ensure my other one didn't get too lonely, I got another one.
(Awful picture, sorry. It's hard to take a good one one handed).
And I need a good Cosmere name!
This bird is male, and the sweetest thing in the world. Any ideas as to what I should name him?

I would highly, highly, recommended watching SGN (Some Good News). You can find it on YouTube and... It's amazing.
Go watch it.

Today is my three year Shardivirsary! (I probably spelled that wrong... Fake English is hard).
I have a few things to say.
One: thanks for putting up with me. Honestly. Especially the first two years. I was a mess. I am less of a mess now, but, well, I still stink at peopleing.
Two: thanks to all of the members of The Knights of the Cosmere and the original people of TUBA. (Potato!!!) I know a few of you are gone now, but still, thanks. I have had so much fun with both of these groups. You guys are all the best.
Three: thanks to everyone else for being so storming awesome. You are all wonderful.
Four: the three year mark of the KotC is next month. I have to double check that date, but it's there.
And... 185 days until RoW!
(Assuming I did my math correctly).

@The Last Post Oh no... I have been cursed... But it would be an improvement nonetheless.
