The World of Tenov-Worldbuilding project

I believe you are the only one who has time. I just started working so time is not in my favor. But managed to read your ideas. They. Are. Awesome. -
Entertainment Reviews(and Debate)
ryshadium90 replied to Modal Seoul's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Yes! I'm not the only one who thought that this was one of Marvel's much weaker movies. The plot line wasn't as interesting. Well, the Aether was cool, but otherwise...Jane kind of annoys me in this movie. Not sure how I feel about Ragnarok coming out. -

@Hemalurgic_Headshot and @Cosmere Savant Is it OK if I put some Tanine in Ketawri? I know that they do the mating process deep in the forest and Ketawri doesn't have forests, but the idea that they form tree like structures in the same place would kind of work with this region's constantly shifting landscape. A tree popping up every now and then would confuse people who aren't used to the land. -

Well, if the Floras are made up of plants... you know how some some plants like spider plants reproduce when parts of their stems grow roots and then the baby plant is separated from the parent plant by cutting that stem? It could be some reproduction like that. -
Avatar The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra Role-play!
ryshadium90 replied to Queen Elsa Steelheart's topic in Roleplaying
Toph held on for dear life, not afraid to let Twinkle Toes know it. She was an Earthbender, and earthbenders belonged on earth. Solid ground. She'd even take sand over air travel. Despite her antics about flying, Toph had to admit that Appa was the only creature she would fly on. He was a gentle bison, and he took care of Aang, especially when the rest of the gang couldn't reach through to him. Avatar duties. Appa was always there for him when the going got tough. Toph scratched her toes. "So how's the Avatar job going?" she asked. "Bust any heads recently?" (Sorry for the late reply!)- 58 replies

Darkeyes: I'd rather see spren than ash. Would you rather be a Parshendi in dullform (without chance of changing form) or a Lifeless?

*pats on back* We're getting the rain downpour too. And the humidity. Just gotta find that happy place and think "yep, just braving a highstorm like a pro." -

*offers cookie (normal one)* You both got this! *bear hug* *offers a powerbar* Keep going! Sleep will only be even more valuable and enjoyable! *hugs* I'm sorry. Chull dung crap or kandra crap? -
Drab. I'd rather not have to worry about being killed after fulfill a lord or lady's fancy. And Hallendren seems like a more colorful and eventful place than the Final Empire. Would you rather have some Marewill flowers, or some Tears of Edgli?

Hang in there! It'll definitely get better. You will soon feel extremely strong! And then you can say to that bike. "Who's the master now?" (You can imagine yourself as a member of Bridge 4 under Kaladin, may have someone to shoot arrows at you for motivation.) -

Toph ignored Aang's outstretched hand, hopping onto the sky bison's back with a bit of earthbending, not minding in the least in that some of the muddy propulsion splattered her old friend in the face. She had no idea what his Air Nomad get-up looked like, but now, it looked a whole lot better. "Still no decent handholds on this fuzz lugged beast," she muttered to herself.- 58 replies

With my wand and trice bound chains I pronounce the unbreakable. I shall only think that which is random, Speak that which is my own, And combine those thoughts most obscure, To obtain the goals of the Guild of Random Amalgamations of Thoughts Original, which are: To expand the reach of the GRATO To fill the world with Originality, Creativity, and Awesomeness To read all books which are amazing And To enjoy the creations of the mind. This is great!

I'm thinking for one of the animals in Ketawri to be the jisca (pronounce the 'sc' like 'scorn', plural: jiscan, 'sc' has the 'c' silent). It's an antelope/deer formed animal, with scales like a crocodile down it's spine and the front of each of its legs. It also has a crocodilian tail. The head is also plated in such scales, but snout is actually a beak though the whole head still has a deer-ish shape. I'm thinking that one of it's hooves will actually be a panther paw, and depending on which leg will have some significance to the tribes. It's not hunted, but it has access to the magic there...somehow, and participates in helping/protecting the guru figure. -

Right. Er, uncivilized like not as civilized as England in the 19th century, but more like the Greece. Or the Mongols. Ooh, like the idea about the goblins. -

Argh, creature development is difficult. I've changed the Olympic idea back to humans, so they'll have that kind of "uncivilized" society structure. The animals are kind of participants in the games as well as still protecting the "guru" dude. -
Dalinar. Kelsier is always so positive that when he gets angry, he gets really angry and that kind of change is pretty dramatic. Dalinar is mostly a serious attitude anyway so his anger wouldn't be as different. Would you rather be a koloss or a mistwraith (no spikes)?

@The Flash Nice.Is your nose still crooked? @Sunbirb I've done that before, except with the corner of the bed and staples. I could tell a bunch of hilarious stories about my friend. Her family is the best/funniest I know. But one of my mine...there is a annual Christmas event in my town called Sparkle, basically a bunch of vendors and events and window shopping on this one street in town. My church usually did the Nativity story at an arch on the street, and we usually rented an RV for the actors to stay in whenever they weren't up. (The story kept repeating through the night). When I was 8 or 9, I was hanging out at the drivers wheel watching everyone else, and right in the middle of the graceful/gentle music playing outside at the arch, I somehow elbowed the horn and it blasted loud and clear.

I was thinking on the lines of a quadruped with fur/feathers depending on the region. But a winged creature also has possibilities. Or a slithering creature. Work in progress. Will probably end up looking up Pokemon for inspiration. -

I'm thinking that my region, Ketawri, will be half desert and half glacial. I was going to have the people their have their culture based on an ancient Olympic games kind of deal, but since humans aren't as kingdom oriented then I'll have some creatures do the race courses and other activities that take place throughout the regions (determine status, eating, traveling, magic, marital, etc.) and have a few humans as their idea of a "pet". Like a guru who they all protect and honor. -
